This isn't a chapter release, unfortunately, rather this is some information. While writing The Missing, I began to realise that 14 main characters is a very large amount. And I've also begun to realise how little I've catered to that. So about a month or two ago I decided to rewrite the story with a fraction of the characters, 8 to be exact. Due to this, I've had little motivation to write this one (and generally motivation to write anything at the moment). So it seemed to me a good idea to let you guys all know this and see what you think of it. I know many of you would prefer if I continued this with all 14 but I just felt you guys didn't deserve to be in the dark about this. Thanks for reading!

I've already selected the characters, there would be eight characters from the original fourteen and then Robyn as the new member.

Honestly, I think you should finish this run-through of the story first. It can give you a scaffold of sorts for the remake. Of course, it's your choice.

I tried that idea with the most recent chapter I wrote but I don't particularly like the structure of this story frankly because there isn't one. With the rewrite there would be a more structured approach to the story which I think will maximise details and descriptions of the story and characters. So in all honesty, I don't think I'm able to finish this one, hence why I'm posting this all now.

Can't wait for it!

In the following month or so, I will try and write a prologue and first chapter of the new version of The Missing. If I like where it's going then I will consider posting it here, in this thread, so I would be grateful for any little bumps along the way and I will do some updates as well to keep the thread alive. Thank you all for your support and for helping me with this decision and I hope to see The Missing 2.0 meet PZ!
