This story is set in a kingdom-style era. The main plot of the story is that someone has assassinated the King, and it is now up to the seven suspects to figure out which one of them is the killer. There will most likely be a lot of fourth wall breaking, and there's even one in this first pre-story when Alvin mention phones, but where this story is set, there are no phones or technology, and just confuses everyone else.

"I have rights you know! You can't keep us locked in here forever!" Alvin shouted. The sound resonated throughout the prison, and he began shaking the iron bars on the window, trying to break free.
"Um, actually, they can do literally whatever they want." Neko let out a nervous chuckle, from a cell somewhere below Alvin.
"No, but we're at least entitled to a phone call!" Alvin scoffed back.
"Um, a what?" Absol asked in confusion.
"Never mind." Alvin sighed.
"I'm never gonna see daylight again!" Emo gasped.
"Um, there's literally a window right behind you." Neko grumbled.
"Oh." Emo awkwardly muttered.
"Anyone, help!" Mine was whining from another cell.
"Ugh, I've gotta get out of here, this is just stupid." Neko growled.
"It feels like we've been here for days!" Mine complained. "No food, no water, look at me! I'm wasting away!"
"It's been less than twenty minutes." Silver commented.
"...but I'm hungry." Mine added.
"Please stop whinin'! You're making all of this so much worse!" Absol sighed in mild annoyance.
"I haven't even said anything yet." Diamond said in a slightly whiny voice nearby.
"Seriously though, I'm starving," Mine spoke up again, "do you think someone will bring us food..?"
"Who cares about food?" Alvin snapped. "We're locked up like animals, for no reason what so ever!"
"Well, there's probably a reason." Emo replied.
"Well what is it then? Why am I here? I was just at the wrong place, at the wrong time, I am totally innocent, and no one has any right-" Silver began.
"Wait, shut up. I think someone's coming." Diamond hushed her.
The cells of each inmate had a clear view of the entrance, even those on the top floor. A very fancy looking female appeared, letting out a quiet 'ahem'. The queen. Her name was Muffin, and she had an odd fondness of cats. She had even gotten the ability to change into one under certain circumstances, but for now she was just an average height female with long black hair.
A silver crown with a diamond in the middle sat on her head, and she wore a light blue dress.
A person popped out from behind her, standing next to her orderly.
"Her majesty, the Queen," he began, "wishes to hereby inform you of the collective misdeeds that have been conducted by all those present." Jake began.
"His majesty, the King, is dead." He said, his voice holding a hint of sadness.
"There is evidence that points to all of you. Individually and in small groups."
"The guards, Emo and Mine, were posted outside the King's chambers during the crime."
"Our merchant friends Absol and Neko were seen fleeing the scene of the crime directly after."
"A mysterious stranger known as Diamond was found outside of the castle and remembers nothing." Jake added, disbelief in his voice.
"And perhaps most stunning, our culinary friends Alvin and Silver were found in possession of his majesty's severed head."
"Yeah, because people just keep severed heads lying around." Absol scoffed, cutting Jake off.
"Excuse me?" Alvin growled from his cell.
"Oh, come on! It was obviously them!" Absol growled.
"Having a head is pretty suspicious." Diamond added.
"We have a literal meat pit. Where we work isn't exactly blood free zone." Alvin retorted.
"Silence!" Jake huffed, annoyed.
"They started it." Alvin muttered from his cell, crossing his arms.
"Her majesty asks that, in return for your freedom, each of you helps find the identity of his majesty's killer. We are certain that there are no other suspects."
"We are giving you one week exactly to solve this heinous crime. Unfortunately, the crown will be unable to provide any assistance whatsoever, to anyone at all. In case we inadvertently help... uh.." Jake awkwardly looked at the Queen with slight reluctance.
Muffin just gave a nod, a signal to go ahead.
Jake sighed, his face turning slightly red. "Anyone who did this to my... poor snooky wookums will be punished harshly. And, if you don't work out who did it, you'll all be killed." Jake finished.
"Kay thanks, bye." Jake said hurriedly, turning and exiting the jail, following after the Queen.
