This is not a chapter update, rather an update on my person. At this moment in time, I'm in a massive slump, not just in writing but as a whole, my mental health is not in the best condition. Due to this, I've been struggling to write anything, let alone chapter 3. It's soul-crushing to me that I cannot deliver even a hundred words to any of my current works in progress and I'm afraid The Missing is going to be put on hold for almost an indefinite amount of time. I wish I didn't have to say this, but right now I need to focus on myself, especially with my exams coming up in a few weeks. Right now is just not a good time for me, and I thought you all needed to know this. I'm really sorry everyone, but it seems I won't be writing this for a while, I might not even pick it back up. I am forever grateful for your support and I hope that you can all understand.

Hopefully you come out of this slump, and you'll be able to once again flex your epic writing skills. But like I said, your life takes priority. No one's able to write a story when they're not in the condition, and I feel that this "break" is well deserved after you bravely restarted the story. Of course exams are important, and you need to focus on those since those are kinda deciding your future. The Missing can be put to the side. And this story isn't everything, you've got a life to live. Everyone's glad you made it this far, and we all wish the best for you.
You made the right choice. Your daughter is proud, as is everyone else.

Thank you all for the support! Again, no chapter update as I am in the thick of exam season. But I wanted to make this post because it was exactly one year ago TODAY that this thread began! The past 365 days have brought about thousands of words and you guys continuous support in my writing! I just want to thank everyone for the past year through your sign-ups and for still reading. Thank you again for helping us reach such a milestone!

ok so, an update.
I'm not entirely sure whether or not I am going to continue this story if at all. This is mainly because I have no motivation, no ideas and no hope for it. I'm also starting a new writing project (which is somehow already going downhill) and will be focusing on that over the summer. Furthermore, I am going to uni soon and will be doing all my writing stuff there and probably won't have time to write The Missing.
So what I'm saying is, the story is over.
I will no longer be writing here nor will I keep this thread open. A year of writing and we were nowhere near close. I had an entire idea for a sequel (a trilogy even) but TM felt like a broken record with nothing to show for it. If you guys are curious about what I had planned for the sequels I am more than happy to post them here. But it's safe to say that I'm ending this.
