The backstory;

Earth is quickly coming to an end, a virus is killing by the hundreds. Animals quickly being affected also. A group of teens/adults from the north find themselves traveling to the south to get to Hawaii. Earth is almost humanless, and numbers are still rising.

(It takes place in America, the main area is Florida.)

The virus;

The virus name is Vero, it will cause humans to turn into zombies kinda. It will cause the human brain to slowly melt away, which takes up to 20 days. Then the human will die completely.

Backstory; Veda grew up with her mom and dad both around, but they were divorced. There was never really a problem in her family until her brother started acting out at school and eventually dropping out, causing problems throughout the family. She and her brother were very close and she would still do anything for him, and shes scared of what will happen to him during the apocalypse, as she hasn't seen him since it started.

Secrets; shes usually really happy and outgoing, but no one knows shes lonely and wants someone to talk to and be with (whether it be a bf/gf or a best friend)

Backstory; Michael is an orphan and has been one since he was 6. He had a sister, as well as his parents. His sister, Ether, was always there for him when he needed it. One day, Michael's parents were cooking dinner when the flames from the hob suddenly rose and turned to a dark purple. The fire spread over Michael's parents, killing them. Luckily, he was able to escape from the house with Ether. The two ran through the forest near there home, trying to find somewhere to take shelter. After hours of searching, they came across a small shack. The two dashed inside. Inside the building, there was a desk and some shelves with vials of different colours of liquids on them. Ether, who was 9 at the time, was looking around on the desk while Michael was climbing onto a stool to try and reach one of the vials full of liquid. Ether saw what he was doing and tried to tell him to stop. However, it was too late. The vials were all knocked over. One landed on the carpet outside and rolled away while the others smashed on the floor, sending the chemicals and their power flying through the air. Suddenly, a man came to the shack. He knocked Michael out and took Ether. When Michael came to, he was in the orphanage. About 7 years later, he ran away and now runs around the streets, trying to defend himself from harm. Although he has not seen Ether since, she was never killed that night.

Secrets; The vials dropping on him gave him telekinetic abilities, although he does not know this himself.

Backstory; He was born in the UK where he grew up with his family. his mom developed cancer when he was 4 and sadly died from it. His dad tried his best to raise him up but was to depressed from the death of his wife to be successful eventual starting to become an alcoholic and would beat Quinn. When Quinn became 12 he had had enough and decided to run away so he did. Living on the streets was tough but he but up with it hiding in and around public spaces and libraries gain knowledge of random things.
When he turned sixteen he decided to dye his hair blue and has done it since with the money he steals from works in shops and libraries. On his seventeenth birthday he robbed a store and with the money brought himself a Waistcoat and some clothes and a plane ticket to America.

He also wears a couple different colored wristbands on his right hand, each with different sayings and such. He has narrow green eyes and a thin, curved nose. He also has light, narrow eyebrows.

Likes: Most of the time he’ll want to be alone, but sometimes he’ll want to talk to people.

Personality: He’s very intelligent, sarcastic and quiet. He prefers to be alone/work “solo”. His sarcasm often is accompanied by negativity. Mostly this is just to hide from everything else in his life.

Backstory: Grey was born as an only child to his mother, Ivy, and his father, Martin, in Canada. His father died to the disease close to when it had just been identified. However, Grey and his mother were unscathed. He and his mother remained in their home. Grey worked as well as his mother so that someday they could move farther south to Florida. Unfortunately, his mother was also taken by the disease before they could move. Grey was 16 at this time. This was bad for him because his mother had been the only person who cared for him in his life. Now, at 18, he plans to continue working in order to eventually make it to Florida and then to Hawaii, so he can make it through this. He lives in a mostly deserted forest.

Personality: She has a snarky attitude, very 'chill' and petty type of person. She loves to have a good time and loves to laugh. She is that type of person that has an Instagram account that you envy. In her own way, she is fearless, Clary is uncaring and unafraid to stand up for what is right. She can be sarcastic and eloquent. A wonderful person to be friends with if you have her trust.

She spent the rest of her school year (she was in sixth form at this time) living at her ex-girlfriend's (Cammie) house before moving into a shabby apartment. When she got her A-Levels, she moved to America, New York, and began attending a college there, where she studies English Language. She has two younger sisters, Alyssa and Esme, who supported her after their mother threw her out of the house for being bisexual.

Secrets: She doesn't really have secrets, just information about herself she isn't keen to share. For example, why she got kicked out of her house.

Atop of their face, they boast a field of freckles dancing all around their circular black glasses.

Likes; They enjoy journaling, photography, and organization.

Dislikes; Not being capable of everyday human tasks, such as tying their shoes nor cooking anything. They did, however, have straight A+s all throughout elementary/middle school.

Personality; Oliver is very heartwarming and can light up a whole room...once you get them to open up in the first place. Oliver is the shyest kid in existence around strangers but can annoy the heck out of their friends. They are very smart and despite their idea of a "disorder", they can overcome issues that most cannot.

She typically wears a plain pink baseball hat, and has a black bracelet which she always wears. Reese typically wears normal white shirts, with a camo coat, or plain sweatshirts. She also has brown eyes.

Likes; Reese prefers solitude, and likes simple plain colors. She only feels comfortable around friends.

Dislikes; She dislikes being the center of attention, or bright colors.

Personality; Reese is a "downer", she is negative most of the time. ( She only looks at negative outcomes, too. ) Most of her close friends from high-school ditched her, and she sank into a deep depression around only 12 years old. She finally started to get happy again when she ran away. Her brother recently disappeared, making her sink into another deep depression. When she gets close to you though, she's very energetic and happy. Although, she has trust issues due to family and what she considered "Friends", lying to her throughout the years. Reese also is a fast decision maker.

They stayed there until her was 15, when they ran away. Reese and her brother lived behind gas stations, and would pick-pocket and steal. Recently, her brother has disappeared. She blames this on herself.

Secrets; She has gotten kicked out of multiple school because of her bad behavior. She has gotten in multiple fights and accidentally set the girls restroom on fire. No one found out it was her but she regrets every second of it because the fire injured her best friend.
