So I'm new here and I enjoy story writing, so I thought I'd do what other people have done and make a sign up for one. (FYI I have been taught some stuff by my friend who recommended me this, he comes on a lot.)
This is basically a spin-off to the Skulduggery Pleasant book series (PS, I'm about 72% through KOTW, so, it'll be round that time). So it's a world, where people are Sensitives, Elementals, Adepts and more, which is basically magic, and they hide it from the outside world. And it is in Ireland.

Backstory: PJ is not human, but a species with very similar traits to the human race. PJ came from a faraway planet that was so small that the humans that found it falsely identified it as a moon. The planet doesn't have a name, but humans called it "Anithea". The planet was barely habitable, only PJ's race could safely walk upon its surface. PJ was born into a family of five, including herself. She had 4 brothers and her parents. Her father was powerless, but an incredible swordsman. Her mother could control dimensions, but only for a short time. PJ was the only one blessed with her mother's gift. She wasn't really close with her family, except for her mother and her oldest brother, Matthew. Matthew was powerless but was training to become a warrior of the stars, defending different worlds from harm. PJ looked up to her older brother, despite he didn't have powers like her. Her brother was able to fulfil his dream, but he gave PJ a gift before he left. He gave her a wand with the power to create visible and harmful electric waves inside of it using delocalised electrons and friction buildup. It wasn't a real wand that a mage would use, but it worked in the same sort of way. A couple of days after Matthew left, hell broke loose. A meteor shower began destroying Anithea, and PJ was forced to escape the planet by herself without her parents, leaving the rest of the planet to be destroyed. PJ wandered aimlessly through space, before finally finding Earth. Earth was safely habitable, so it was the best place to stop off. PJ found a place in Ireland she could call home, and spent her time researching a way to harness her powers.
Personality: PJ is very easy-going and likes to try to keep her chin up as much as possible. She is incredibly friendly with everyone and likes to trust in as many people as possible. She can pick up friends easily, but can often end up betrayed due to her trusting nature. A lot of people rely on her due to her happy nature. She is known to break down easily when put under too much stress and pressure. Her breakdowns can usually either be anger or sadness. She will not be afraid to harm anyone who breaks the piece. Personality: She is very introverted, and has problems with communicating. She doesn't really like to talk about her problems, and she can be a pushover. She often pretends, and seems to lie a lot. She does mean well though, she's extremely generous and usually cares a lot about other people. Just don't get on her bad side.

Then he was adopted by a women, at age 5, and so Hunter just thought the women was his guardian like the other kids. Hunter grew fast and learnt quickly, getting the best grades in his year. Hunter had been bullied a little but he brush it off and didn't care, Hunter had great friends who laughed at his bad jokes and stood up for him, so yes a normal life. He went to an Art University in the study of English Language (Writing) and got more friends along the way, He went home one Christmas to see his guardian, Hera Armstrong, and found her lying dead on the floor. He yelped as a strange man grabbed him from behind, he turned and punched the man through a wall. Amazed in what he had done he froze for ten seconds before five more strange men came running up to him. He felt so much anger from Hera dying, he snapped killing the men instantly for an unknown reason then he ran and fell unconscious. He ran away from home, living in the streets and dropping around the homeless shelter.
Personality: Hunter is an introvert, they are quiet and prefers to be alone. Though they appear quiet and unknowing, but Hunter is highly intelligent, smart and strategic. They can read people easily, using this ability to survive, trusted tiny amounts of people. Hunter is loyal, they would rather die than have their friends die. They are not a leader and remains an outcast, they mostly like using strategic knowledge than brute force to solve problems. Hunter is observant and notices every single detail, it gets placed in their photographic mind.

Backstory: Matthew grew up in a military facility in USA, because his parents worked there. He was used as a test subject, but was also trained by the workers to fight and shoot and stuff. One day, a test backfired, and destroyed the entire facility. But the explosion added the final energy surge to unlock Matthew's true power. He was in a foster home until he was 15, when he and his friends broke into a shop and vandalized all their teachers' houses. He did this mainly because he had had big problems at school, and got a fake ID and posed as an 18-year old, mainly cause he looked older than he was, and started to drink. The police came for Matthew, but he ran through a window, and fled. He got away by inches, and borrowed a scarf and shades from his friends to disguise himself. He stole some money from his foster home before he ran and boared a flight to Ireland, where he eventually found started to train in Necromancy, but also with his other power. Eventually, he joined the Sanctuary.
Personality: Matthew is reckless, but is lovable because of that. He will save his friends over himself, and is a good detective. He is sensitive about things, but the rest, he is impervious to. He is, what people would call, happy with life.

Extra: He has physical strength, speed, resistance and fighting technique, and he can work his magic well. However, his past is very easy to exploit.
