I mean it’s a cool idea but really how many sales do you think PZ is gonna get? Enough to make profit?
Okay, here's my honest opinion about the merch. You can take it as constructive criticism (like it's intended to be) or not; that's up to you. I think the shirts look sort of bland. We've all seen countless T-shirts that simply have a logo plastered on the front-center part of the shirt, and these are exactly those kinds of things - they have potential, but they were executed in a way that is just a bit boring.
Take the Game Theory merchandise for example - they wanted to make a wave of merch that looked simple, yet classy and innovative. So, they made T-shirts that had a version of their logo in a lower part of the shirt and off to the side, giving it an asymmetrical look. They looked amazing and I bought two of them. Now, they've got socks, varsity jackets, and more t-shirts, but their interesting designs made it look like effort was actually put into them. These PZ merch items don't really do that for me. The first thing I think when I see them is that not a lot of effort went into them. They just look boring to me.
But hey, that's just my opinion. I'm sure other users will buy the merch, but it's not really something I would wear. Kudos to you for selling merch, though.

Looking at the merch you were suggesting and type of thing you'd like to see, I totally agree, and it does look good. Thanks for the critique and for helping us toward something you and others would like. I am a fan of the classics, and quite like the current designs. But as an artist myself, I know there's always room for improvement!
How incredibly untrue. You all did a wonderful job and blew our expectations given what we wanted and asked for. You know as well as I do, there's a lot more interesting things on the way but we always start with the basics. I couldn't be more proud of the Creative Design Team!
As far as I'm aware it's all adult sizing. When I was small (Up until like, highschool) I'd get the shirts I liked in adult sizes and wear them as PJs. I still have a few shirts that are too big! #SmallLife
This would be SO cool! In my experience Plushies aren't easy to have made, so IF it's possible, it'd be quite a while. That being said, I think we hear you all. Got it. Plushies.

Thanks for taking my opinion so well. It was meant to be constructive criticism and I'm glad it came across that way. Like I said, I'm sure lots of people will buy the current PZ merch. Even though it's not something I would probably buy for now, there's always the chance something you make in the future could appeal to more of the PZ community. Great job and thanks for everything you guys do for PZ!
No, that's not true at all! The art you guys made will definitely appeal to parts of the PZ audience. Nothing we make can appeal to everyone, but that's just how art works as a result of everyone's differing interests and preferences. I might prefer something a little more out of the ordinary, but there are plenty of people who will enjoy the designs. Don't beat yourself up about it!
