Ghosting is impossible to tell and even if it was in messages it would take staff time and I mean a lot of it. As well staff could easily say someone was ghosting when infact they noticed something that staff didn't.
This applies for you as well... the murderer doesn't notice the one innocent bystander and then the bys says the murderer's name and the murderer thinks it is ghosting. This could be because of them using f5. You could ban people from saying who the murderer is but people might just say their name randomly so same thing as before. There really is no way to do this unless you want to harm innocent players just because they are good.
Lastly here is a tip... always think there is a ghoster, hacker, or mainly xrayer in the game. By doing this it allows even the best players to be defeated by you. Xray and ghosting just give a small advantage yet in the end they have to pull the trigger.
Reason:
1.Ghosting simply can't be proven without drawbacks. Even with fox's arg
2. Any game is truly winnable because there is always a way. This might be humanly impossible yet just know that every game is possible.
3. The game is just for fun if your not having fun hop on to a different game. If your looking for number one I legit suggest camping in op areas with f5 it is slow but very effective.
4. Ghosting or xray has existed since the beginning of murder not much can change that.

Catten mentioned the one thing wrong with this. "How would staff (Or players) be able to tell when someone is ghosting?"
The only way to catch this (IMO) is have Ghoster A die to the murderer. Then you TP to Ghoster B asap and then they will start walking toward the murderer (Despite the murderer killing their friend from 100 blocks away and through 6 walls). You would Also need to be recording when ghoster a died to get their identity and screen shot the identity list. And of course you need to be dead for all of this to happen
This would be the most effective I have seen so far at catching them yet it still has the question of did they just randomly decide to go back the other way and kill the murderer. In a couple of games full games in murder a bys could turn near a 5 to 10 second window of someone dying and randomly turn back and kill the murderer. This would as well take much staff time as ghosting will be reported a lot. The idea is great and best one so far I have seen yet it does have a small chance to happen or to even know they ghosted. Enough proof yet too close to the edge of unknown and possibilities.

Yea, but most of the time its through a call or message on external sources meaning out of our hands.
We could most likely allow players to send chat reports to staff and the staff can only see the messages going out to the player. Yet I don't know if staff can handle it maybe by doing a system where 2 staff do it one week and the next week 2 different staff do it and it just repeats.
