Every year, ten contestants are chosen at random to compete in a game called Imprisonment. Their memories are wiped, and all they know is their name. They are given roles that they must act as and if they fail, they are killed. The loser of each game is also killed.

She sat up, her head spinning and her vision fading. She quickly slapped herself across the face, in a hope that it would keep her conscious. She looked around and saw she was in a park? It didn't look real, though. It's a fake park? Then she saw the eight people staring at her.

"Are... are you o-okay?" One of them asked her.
"I... I think so... How did I get here?" She responded.
"That is what I'm trying to figure out. We don't seem to have any physical markings or..." The boy droned on.
"Don't mind him, that's just Apollo." Apollo nodded in their direction and continued to look around. "I forgot to ask, what's your name?"
"Oh, I'm Rosi."
"I'm Aubri. That's Wolf and Lana over there." She began pointing around the room. "That's Kiro, not sure what he's doing though." Rosi looked over at Kiro, concerned. "Oh, that's Am and PJ. And that's..." Aubri looked around. "Where's Alex?"
"I got tired of waiting for her to wake up." A boy was standing behind them, throwing a knife in the air and catching it.
"Alex. Don't. Wonder. Off. Again. We need to stay together" PJ began to tell him off, then she realised what he was doing. "Stop! You're going to hurt yourself."
"No, I'm not," He laughed. "Stop with your moaning and have a bit of fun. Where's that Apollo guy, anyway?"
"GUYS!" Apollo was running towards them. "GUYS I KNOW SOMETHING. I FIGURED IT OU-"
"Stop shouting, you are literally right in front of us." Alex snarled and Wolf laughed.
"Whatever. Anyway, guys. We've got these things on the back of our heads. Look," Apollo turned around and pushed his hair around.
"What the..." Lana moved forwards, examining it. "It's a... bomb?"
"It can't be a bomb. Why would we have bombs on the back of our heads? That's absolutely ridiculous. Why would you say that?" Kiro asked.
"It is a bomb, I know it's a bomb. It has to be a bomb." Kathy answered back. Apollo scratched behind one of their ears.
"Guyyyys..."
"For god's sake, what is it this time?" Alex snapped at him.
"Scratch behind your right ear."
"Why...?" Kathy questioned.
"Guys. Just do it." Kiro responded.
"Kiro, you haven't done it. Why should we?"
"I did. It shows this... this thing. I can't explain it, just do it." They all scratch behind their right ear and a menu shows up, with information about them.
"It's a..."
"Fact file, about us, I know."
"But how would anyone know all of this stuff?" Am asked. "Wait... We have roles?" They all turned to them. "Look, under your name. I'm the Awkward One? At least mines accurate."
"Okay, why am I the Violent one?" Aubri snapped. "That's so unfair."
"I'm the show-off." Kathy giggled.
"I can tell," Alex replied. "I'm the sarcastic one." He laughed.
"I'm the quiet one," Rosi muttered.
"The what?" Wolf replied.
"The quiet one," Rosi said, slightly louder.
"Of course you are," they replied. "Oh, I'm the.. Villian."
"I'm the Clever one. That's nice." Lana said as she swung from a tree.
"Get down, you're going to get yourself killed," PJ replied.
"What's your role then?" Lana asked.
"Oh. I'm the... Dominant one?" Lana laughed.
"I know."
"Wait, Apollo?"
"Yeah."
"What are you?"
"Oh, I'm the Investigator. Wait, are we missing someone?" They turned around and saw Kiro. He turned to them.
"What?" Kiro asked, aggressively.
"What's your role?" Kiro scratched behind their right ear.
"Suspicious." He smiled. "Why?"
"Uh. Doesn't matter."
A raspy whisper echoed around them;

"I see you have figured it out then, little humans." PJ shifted uncomfortably and scratched the back of her head. "One of you will die tonight, I will make sure of that. Until then, have fun."

The ten contestants looked at each other, worried. After a few moments of silence, PJ spoke up.
"Should we... find a place to sleep, or?" she asked.
"WE WERE JUST TOLD ONE OF US WILL DIE TONIGHT, AND YOU WANT TO SLEEP? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Alex shouted.
"I didn't... I didn't mean it like that. I... I meant that we should go and... and find somewhere we can... can hide."
"SURE YOU DID. IT'S NOT LIKE YOU WANT US ALL DEAD!" Alex yelled. "ONE OF US WILL DIE AND YOU DON'T CARE." He got up and walked away
"Alex..." PJ begged. "Come back! You're going to get yourself killed."
"LIKE YOU CARE." He yelled as he turned the corner, vanishing from their view.
They awoke the following morning to a sharp pain in their neck.
"W-Who's there? I'm armed!" Lana shouted, scrambling out of a treehouse they had made the night before and landing with a thud on the floor below.
"There's no one there, Lana," PJ replied, yawning.
"I heard a branch snap!" She replied, ignoring the fact there were leaves in her hair.
"It was probably you when you fell out of that tree." Alex laughed.
"Alex! We thought you...? Didn't you leave yesterday?" PJ exclaimed.
"No. I've been here the whole time. As if I'd be able to get out of here on the first day. Patience, my friend." He smirked.
"But... you?" Wolf said, confusion flooding their face.
That's when they heard it. The realisation was brutal.
"HELP!" A boy screamed.
"But that sounds like-"
"I AM DYING OVER HERE! SOMEONE HELP ME!"
"ALEX?" Am shouted.
"It's a hologram, you fools," Lana growled as she threw a rock at the hologram of Alex. The rock went right through him.
"Quick, grab a weapon and help him. We can't lose someone this early on, even if it is Alex." Aubri commanded as she sprinted up towards the screamed, gripping a knife tightly.

They sprinted down a cobblestone path and reached a fountain.
"I finally get to meet you all. How wonderful." A soft but deadly voice whispered.
"That voice... It doesn't sound like the one before."
"You think I'm the Game Master? That's just rude." A Spanish sounding voice shouted. A 17-year-old girl stepped out from the shadows, with a knife in her hand. She held the knife against a struggling boy's throat.
"Alex!"
"WHO ARE YOU?" The girl screamed, digging the knife into Alex's throat. Blood dripped down the knife's handle as he screamed, a tear trickled down his face. "ANSWER ME!"
"We... we just woke up here. It... it was yesterday. I-I don't know any more than that! Please don't hurt him," PJ begged.
"Even if he is a big jerk, don't hurt him," Apollo added. "We want to stay alive. You see, there's this voice. We are being hunted down and I really want to keep us all aliv-"
"Wait!" The girl interrupted, flicking her platinum blonde hair out of her way. "You are the new batch? Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't realise. I'm sorry about this... I..." She began. "I'm J. Well, my name is actually Jade but everyone calls me J?."
"I'm Am, Am Dun, nice to meet you." Am stepped out and raise her hand, offering a handshake, and then awkwardly put her hand back down when J rolled her eyes at the hovering hand.
"Wait. This J girl looks a lot like 'Alex' did." Lana said, suspicious of J.
"You're right," Wolf said, picking up a rock.
"Stop! What are you doing?" Rosi asked. She received no response. Wolf threw the rock right at J's head. "WOLF!" Rosi shouted. They turned around, stunned.
"Rosi?" Wolf asked, innocently.
"You do realise they were holding a knife. As in, holding it." Rosi replied.
Alex's screams filled the air as J fell backwards, still holding the knife. The knife sliced into his neck, hitting his vertebrae. Wolf turned back around, slowly. They gulped. Blood was everywhere. The once green grass had turned crimson red with blood. The knife had sliced right into his pulse, which was now spurting blood around the air.

"Alexander Hunter Silver. The first to perish into the darkness but not the last."

The following night, as the glowing orange sky changed to midnight black, all of the contestants (except Alex and Wolf) were sitting around a fire. Their ghosts tears from hours before still stained their faces.
"Guys," Kiro spoke up, aware of the awkwardness. "Why isn't Wolf here?"
"I banished them. They killed Alex." PJ responded.
"Technically, Lana killed Alex," Apollo responded.
"I DID NOT!" Lana answered, defending herself. "I didn't tell Wolf to throw that rock!"
Am suddenly spoke up. "G-guys. Does anyone remember when we read our roles?" The group nodded. "Does anyone remember what Wolf's was?"
Kathy gasped. "I do! I remember! They were the Villian." Am raised her eyebrow in an 'exactly' kind of way.
Kiro woke up the following morning and screamed. They were tied to a pole and there was darkness below them. Lana was the next to regain consciousness, who then noticed Kiro next to her.
"Wha- Why are you tied up? AHHHH" Lana began. The rest of the group began to wake up.
"WHY IS J HERE? THAT MURDERER. I WILL GET YOU FOR THAT" PJ screamed.
"I DIDN'T KILL ANYONE" J screamed back.
"Look!" Lana shouted. They looked and saw Wolf standing below them.
"I'm just playing the game, I'll die if I don't," They replied. "Anyway, I was told to let one of you down and then-"
"Wolf," J said, in a false tone. "Be a sweetheart and let me down." She winked.
"I haven't finished explaining yet." Wolf barked back. "So, I let one of you down and then that person lets someone else down. It keeps going until..." Wolf gulped. "Okay, let's begin with the game then. I was chosen to be free first because you all hate me for Alex's death, so it's my turn to let someone down first. I think I'll let down Kiro."
"Of course..." Apollo muttered. "Let down your partner in crime."
"What was that, Mr Detective Man?" Kiro responded as he jumped down to join Wolf. "I'll take Kathy." Kathy jumped down and smiled.
"That's what manners get you. I knew I would be saved. Anyway, I think I'll save Lana." Lana jumped down and rubbed her arms.
"Do you have any idea how painful that rope is?"
"YES, WE DO," J screamed, indicating at the other contestants and herself.
"Right, anyway. I'll save Rosi." Rosi stumbled down and thanked Lana. "I-I will save..." Am looked up, hope filling her eyes. "J..." J jumped down and smiled. Am dropped her head, disappointed.
"I don't know many of you but I'll save Aubri, us violent girls must stick together."
"Not a chance," Aubri said as she jumped down. "I'll save Apollo. You remind me of... of him." She said.
"Is that good?" He grinned as he jumped down.
"D... don't." She replied weakly.
"Sorry. I... I can't decide. I... I don't... I don't want to be the cause of a death... I..."
"Choose already!" A voice echoed around. "Unless you would rather die?"
"I... I choose PJ."
"Please don't do this. Please. Please. Stop! Please. Please don't. Please. Please!" Am screamed as PJ jumped down.
"Am... I'm sorry." Apollo replied. "I'm sorry."

Am's ropes were cut and she fell into a small tank. She began flapping and trying to reach the air before the tank closed. The roof slowly slid across as she frantically swam up. The roof closed before she reached the surface. The tank rose up so all of the contestants could see Am die.
"NOOOO!" Rosi cried, and she ran to the glass of the tank. Am pounded on the glass, but it didn't break. Aubri came running over to the tank, holding a gun. She fired the gun at the glass, but the bullets stopped before they hit it. They turned around and fired back at Aubri. Aubri ran and screamed as her own bullets chased her.
"DO NOT TRY AND RUIN MY GAME AGAIN." A deep voice echoed around.
"LET AM GO, GAME MASTER," Aubri screamed. The bullets dropped to the floor.
"Would you like to take her place?" The voice whispered into Aubri's ear, so she was the only one who could hear the voice. "I can put you in there, or you can let her die."
"I..." Am looked at Aubri and mouthed "don't" at her. "No. I will not."
"Fair enough." The voice faded away and Aubri broke down crying. Am was sitting on the floor of the tank, waiting for her death, as she ran out of oxygen. She saw a air pocket and quickly swam over to it, and took a deep breathe.
"AM, WATCH OUT," PJ screamed. Am spun around and saw five sharks heading towards her. Her mouth opened as if to scream, but no sound came out. The sharks swam around, peacefully, and she lowered her guard. Suddenly, a shark swam right at her, its mouth open. She swam fast but there was nowhere to go. She screamed as one of the sharks bit her right arm. Blood filled the tank and the other four sharks turned towards her. She screamed, this time it was hearable, as one of the sharks tore a chuck from her torso, crushing her bones into nothing and her flesh into a paste. And then she was gone. There was nothing left, not even teeth or hair. The contestants sobbed and cried.

"Rest in Peace, Am Dun. The second to go but not to be forgotten."
Rosi was sitting in the woods behind the tents. She was holding a knife, sobbing. She got up and walked over to a tree, gripping the knife tightly. She dug the knife into the bark of the tree, concentrating. She sketched a heart on the trunk and put "A + R".
"I'll survive this thing for you, Am." She whispered.
"Rosi?" A voice called out. Rosi quickly dropped the knife into a pile of leaves under the tree and ran out. She reached the tents and looked around for the others.
"G... guys?" She called, shivering as the harsh breeze brushed past her. "P...PJ? A-Apollo? Lana? Aubri? Am-" She cut herself off, a tear rolling down her face. She screamed out of frustration and guilt for Am's death. She dropped to the ground, screaming and crying.
"R... Rosi?" A voice whispered. "Why are you crying?" It sounded like Am, but it couldn't be.
"I... it can't be. Am?" Rosi whispered. Am looked down to Rosi, and that's when she collapsed. Rosi was lying, unconscious, on the dirt ground.

"How long has she been out?"
"Not sure..."
"Poor thing."
"Where even are we..?"
"Not a clue."
Rosi's vision faded back and she looked around. Concrete walls surrounded her, along with the 9 other contestants.
"Where am I?" She asked quietly, her hoarse, raspy voice breaking the silence.
"I'm glad you asked." The Game Master's voice whispered around. Wolf jumped with sarcastic excitement.
"I'm so excited for the next challenge. What is it, my master?" They replied.
"Do not use that tone with me." The voice replied as Wolf fell to the ground. He was shaking as an electrical pulse charged its way around Wolf's body.
"STOP!" Lana shouted at the sky. Wolf was panting on the floor. They got up and didn't say another word.
"You have a mission. Get to the end of this maze."
"That sounds easy..." Kathy muttered.
"I'm glad you spoke up because now it is not easy. The last person to exit the maze will be slaughtered by a random person. And everyone else? Oh, they have to watch it happen." The group gulped, as they paced themselves to charge into the darkness.
"Kill or get killed. 3... 2... 1... Off you go." The walls dropped and revealed a concrete maze. Wolf, Lana and Kiro charged into the maze and the rest of the group ran in after them. Everyone was splitting up.
"Stick together-" Rosi asked PJ.
"Sorry, Rosi, but I want to do this alone." She replied as she ran in the opposite direction.

After what seemed like hours, Wolf found a light. They ran towards it, with glee in their eyes. They found the exit.
"Two people have now exited the maze."
"TWO?" They asked out of concern.
"Y.. yes. Two." A voice replied. Wolf turned around to see Rosi sitting on the floor. Her face was red and puffy.
"Have you been... crying?" Wolf asked, a hint of a sneer in his voice.
"N..no." She replied, unconvincingly.
"Mhm." Wolf sat down next to her and they both stared into the darkness, that is the maze. A few minutes later, Wolf and Rosi looked up at the sound of footsteps.
"Three people have now exited the maze." Apollo came running towards them.
"Apollo!" Rosi jumped to her feet and hugged him. PJ emerged from the maze's exit a few seconds later.
"Four people have now exited the maze." After twenty minutes, J came running out of the maze. Apollo sighed, looking worried. Aubri sprinted out of the maze and dropped her knife.
"Am I the last one?" Aubri stummered.
"N-no." Rosi answered.
"Six people have now exited the maze." Kathy ran out about thirty minutes later.
"I got caught up. I found a bird." She lied.
"Sure you did." Wolf smirked.
"Seven people have now exited the maze, two remain"

Meanwhile, Kiro and Lana began to panic. Being the only two to stay in a group, one of them would have to sacrifice the other.
"I... I'll let you live if you help me find the exit." Kiro replied, gulping.
"Deal?"
"Deal," Kiro replied. They ran down the maze, Kiro in front. Kiro turned the corner and saw the exit. He quickly turned back to Lana.
"It's a dead end, let's try that way." He said, pointing behind Lana.
"Are you sure?" Lana asked.
"Positive." He smiled. Lana turned the other way and began to walk.
"Never trust anyone," Kiro responded as he sprinted towards the exit. Lana turned around and looked around the corner.
"KIRO! YOU BACKSTABBER," Lana sprinted towards the exit. Kiro and Lana were now neck and neck. Kiro shoved Lana and she fell into the concrete wall.
"I'M NOT DYING TODAY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH." He looked behind him and tripped. He quickly jumped to his feet and continued to run.
"KIRO, PLEASE," Lana screamed. Kiro exited the maze, grinning. Wolf launched themselves onto Kiro, throwing punches left, right and centre.
"GET OFF ME YOU CREEP," Kiro screamed, kicking at them. Wolf was thrown backwards and Aubri quickly jumped in front of Wolf, holding them back.
"We have a loser." A voice echoed around the walls. "And we have an executioner." A gun was placed into the hands of J.
"OF COURSE," Wolf screamed out of anger. "PLACE THE GUN IN THE HANDS OF THE MURDERER. WE WILL ALL END UP DEAD NOW."
"Wolf... I'm not a killer," J replied as she aimed the gun at Lana. Lana was tied up against a wall, the rope digging into her flesh. The gun was fired. Lana's scream seemed to stop time its self. Wolf screamed and ran up to Lana.
"Don't leave me. Not now, not ever." Wolf cried, holding onto Lana's weak body.
"Goodbye, Wolf," Lana whispered as the life drained her face.
"May you rest in peace, Lana Riso. The third to bite the dust of this ungodly place."

J was backed into a wall, a gun pointed at her head.
"Tell me who you are, or I will shoot." Wolf demanded
"Okay, okay, I'll explain everything. I'm last season's winner. All of the rest died. They all had roles like you do. I was the Mean One. Dan, oh innocent little Dan. He was the first to go, silly little Athlete. This is a game show broadcasted to..." She looked around "...Aliens" she whispered, giggling. "And the winner? Oh, well they stay here. I won, I stay. Ready for next season." Wolf stepped back in shock.
Wolf was cradling a gun in the forest, humming the tune to "Demons" by Imagine Dragons. The soft wind was whistling against the trees. They looked up, their eyes brimmed with tears.
"Wolf?" A voice whispered from the darkness.
"Who's there." Wolf looked down at the gun and gulped. "I'm armed."
"Wolf... It's me, Rosi. We need to talk." Rosi stepped out from the darkness and dropped the knife she was holding.

"You're a psycho. You're a villain. You're awesome." Kiro muttered to themselves. "You're underestimated. You're the oncoming storm. You're Kiro Black Heart."
"That's brilliant." A voice taunted. "You're Kiro Black Heart? What a lovely name." Kathy came out of her tent, grinning. "I heard some news, and I think we should stick together. You need me."

Aubri and PJ were sitting by a lake.
"Hey, PJ?"
"Yeah, Aubri?"
"If we er... ever have to erm... pair up... should we erm pair up? Like, me and you?" Aubri stuttered
"Oh... Oh yeah, sure." PJ replied.
"I still can't believe three of us are gone already. We haven't even been here a week."
"Yeah..."

"Go to the stream if you want to keep your life for a few minutes longer." The Game Master's voice echoed around. After a few minutes, the eight remaining contestants were standing near the stream.
"Teamwork." The Game Master's raspy voice filled the silence. "That's what you need to work on. Now, I want you to be paired for this challenge but I am deciding the pairs." Aubri and PJ looked at each other and sighed.
"But... Won't there be two losers?" Rosi asked.
"Of course there will. Now, I will get you pairs and I will tell you the consequence and the challenge."

"Team One: Apollo and J."
"WHY!" Apollo shouted.
"Because I said so." The voice replied and Apollo was thrown to the floor. J sighed.
"Team Two: Rosi and Wolf."
"That's... that's pretty good." Rosi muttered.
"Could be worse, I guess," Wolf replieed.
"Team Three: Kathy and Kiro."
"Hey, that's not too bad," Kathy replied. "Well, good for you, Kiro."
"Whatever."
"And that means that Team Four is PJ and Aubri."
"YES!" Aubri cheered and PJ ran over to her. They high fived.
"The challenge is to cross an obstacle course. There are multiple challenges inside of this obstacle course and you can only proceed to the next one if your partner is with you. The two losers will have to fight for their life. Ready? Set? Go!"

Wolf and Rosi were sprinting down towards the first challenge, with Wolf in front.
"Wait up, Wolf."
"No time. I'll figure out the challenge while you catch up." Wolf quickened their pace.
"Challenge One: Logic."
"Rosi! I need your help!" Rosi laughed and sped up.

"Are you going to help me?" J screamed at Apollo.
"No." Apollo sat on the floor.
"Do you want to die?"
"No."
"THEN HELP ME," J shrieked.
"No." Apollo smiled as J grew angrier and angrier.

"Did you hear that?" PJ asked Aubri.
"I think it was J..."
"Poor Apollo stuck with a murderer."
"That's a bit harsh, don't you think?"
"Not really... I mean, let's say it wasn't her fault that Lana died. But what about Alex? She was holding him hostage."
"I guess... Anyway, we should get this puzzle sorted. I'd rather not have to fight you." Aubri gulped.
"Yeah... me either."

"One team has made it to Challenge Two."
"YES!" Kiro responded as Kathy put the last piece in its place. The light blue barrier blocking their path vanished and they ran through.
"Challenge Two: Strength."
"We've got this."

"Come on!" J shouted. "I HAVE OPENED THE GOD DAMN DOOR NOW GET UP AND LET'S GO TO THE NEXT CHALLENGE!" Apollo looked her head in the eyes.
"No."
"I HATE YOU SO MUCH." J charged at the barrier and was flung backwards. Apollo laughed.
"I'm not going to help you. I'm not going to try and win. I'm going to come last on purpose. I want to fight you. I don't want my friends to die, I want you to die."
"What did I ever do to you?"
"Apart from threatening and killing Alex and killing Lana? Who even are you? You appear out of nowhere and then people start dying. If that's not suspicious, I don't know what is. I will do anything and everything in my power to stop you from killing anyone else." Apollo's voice grew louder and angrier at every sentence. J stepped back, shocked.
"You would risk dying to save some strangers?"
"I'D RATHER HAVE A 50% CHANCE OF YOU DYING OVER A 100% CHANCE OF A FRIEND DYING, SO YES," Apollo screamed.

Twenty minutes later, the voice boomed around again.
"Two of the four teams are on Challenge Three, the final challenge. One Team has finished." Rosi and Wolf high fived each other.
"I hope they are all okay," Rosi said, mainly to herself.
"I'm sure Aubri, PJ, Kathy and Kiro will be fine. Apollo, on the other hand... Stuck with that murderer."
"I hope Apollo is okay."
"I'm sure he is." A voice replied from the exit.
"KATHY! KIRO!" Rosi shouted with joy as they walked out of the final challenge.
"Glad you didn't forget about us," Kathy said as Rosi hugged her.

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING ME," J shouted as she pulled Apollo's arm, who was refusing to move.
"There's no point, you do realise two of the teams are safe and the other is at the final challenge. I can't wait to fight you."
"I HATE YOU SO MUCH."
"Mhm."

"I hope Aubri and PJ make it back safe," Rosi said
"And Apollo." Wolf shifted uncomfortably as Kathy said this.
"No matter how much I hate that freak, I hope he makes it back," Kiro added on.
"Guys... Don't be so harsh on J. You don't know what she's been through." Wolf said.
"Neither do you, Wolf."
"What she's been through?" Rosi said, her anger growing. "What about what we are going through? What about what I'm going through? What about what you're going through? What about what Kathy, Kiro, Aubri, PJ and Apollo are going through? We've lost Alex because of her. We've lost Lana because of her. We've lost Am, too." Rosi started crying. "I've lost Am. I... I loved them. And I am 99% positive you loved Lana, and you've lost her."
"Lana was a friend, not a lover. I don't love people, I don't have time for emotions."
The group went silent.
"What have we missed?" A voice asked. The group turned around and Rosi lept to her feet.
"PJ! AUBRI!"

"Three groups have now finished and exited the challenge." J turned round to Apollo, who was beaming at her. Apollo nodded at J. They were teleported out of the challenge, into an arena behind the winning contestants.
"Hey, guys. I hope this isn't the last time I speak to you but, if it is, kill J." Apollo said, as he quickly looked around and took in his surroundings.
"Let's get this over with, shall we?" J said, picking up a gun.
"My pleasure," Apollo responding, loading his gun.
"The losers will now fight. Three, two, one, FIGHT!"

J aimed her gun at Apollo as he ran behind a tree. The bullets whistled as they flew through the air. Apollo ducked behind the tree and aimed the gun at J. He pulled the trigger and heard a scream. Gulping, he looked up.
"What the..." J was nowhere to be seen. He heard a trigger, and then he fell to the ground. All he could do was scream. Pain filled his body as J leant over him. Apollo looked over at his gun, but couldn't reach it. He was weak but he was a fighter. Before J could react, Apollo pulled out a knife and plunged it into J's heart. She fell to the floor, screaming, and died, instantly.
"We have a winner and, more importantly, we have a loser." The walls around the area vanished into the ground and the contestants ran towards Apollo.
"Rest in Peace, Jade Hurren. Last season's winner will now face death."
"I told her I would sacrifice myself. I told her..." Apollo said as his face turned pale. The life was leaving his body.
"No... Don't leave us now, Apollo. We need you, you know that." Aubri whispered.

"Only one dies tonight." The voice echoed around. The contestants stepped back as a blue glow softly glided around Apollo. He sat up, the blood pouring down his face stopped instantly.

That evening, they were all sitting around the campfire.
"Wait. Last season's winner?" Aubri said, causing silence to fall between them.
"GET DOWN!" A rough voice called out, as about twenty masked soldiers ran towards them. "GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PUT YOUR HANDS ON THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD. DO AS I SAY OR I SHOOT YOU." They shouted. The contestants quickly dropped to their knees and put their hands on the back of their heads. One of the soldiers walked towards Wolf and held out their hand.
"Welcome back, boss." Wolf laughed and got up. Aubri glared at Wolf.
"It's you?" She said, angrily.
"Of course it is. My role was literally the Villian. How did none of you figure it out. You see, I killed in a specific order." Wolf began to circle them. Every time they named a person, they would knock one of the contestants out. "I killed Alex first because he was just annoying." Apollo fell to the ground. "Then I killed Am because, well, they were on to me." PJ fell to the ground next, her own blood starting to surround her.
"PJ!" Aubri shot up and charged at Wolf. Wolf threw her to the ground and then kneed in the stomach.
"0462."
"Yes, boss?" A male, rough English voice replied.
"Kill her," Wolf said. One of the soldiers stepped forward and aimed their gun. Bullets fired into Aubri's chest and she fell backwards, screaming. Her blood seeped into the dirt and gravel.
"Why did you kill Lana?" Rosi asked, not looking at Aubri.
"I overestimated you lot. You see, I thought you would have been smart enough to realise that Am was onto me and then they died. So I killed Lana and acted, well, sad." Kathy fell to the floor.
"And J?"
"Last seasons winner. Knew too much. She told me, not knowing or remembering me." Kiro fell to the floor.
"But... why?" Rosi asked, her face flooded with tears as her friends bled around her.
"Bring them to me," Wolf said as they vanished. The masked soldiers picked up the bleeding bodies. One of them walked towards Rosi, who was now crying her eyes out. The soldier tried to lift her up, but they couldn't.
"0462?" They said.
"I'm dealing with this one." The soldier kicked Aubri, who was still bleeding. Rosi looked up, crying.
"GET OFF HER!" Rosi got up and charged at the solider.
"Oh, for god's sake," They replied, hitting Rosi around the face. She fell backwards and one of the soliders picked her up. She kicked and screamed as if she was a toddler.
"Good work, 0463."
Rosi's vision slowly unfaded and she lifted her head.
"Ah. You are awake at last."
"Why me?" She muttered.
"Speak up, girl."
"I said, why me? You could do this to anyone but you do it to me. And who are they?" She pointed at the masked soldiers. Wolf laughed, moving towards three masked soldiers.
"Because you trusted me. I have a surprise for you." They grinned and stopped in front of the first masked soldier, with the number 0462 on their uniform - the one that killed Aubri. They put their hand on the top of the mask and pulled it.
"Alex?" Rosi said, a tear rolling down her face. Alex didn't react. He didn't move, as if he didn't even hear her.
"He doesn't recognise that name," Wolf replied, laughing. "His name is 0462." Alex turned his head towards Wolf obediently. "Isn't that right, 0426." Rosi looked closer at Alex and saw he had a scar running around his neck, from J's knife.
"Yes, boss. That is correct, boss." Wolf smiled as they moved to the next masked soldier.
"My loyal soldiers, unmask yourselves." The soldier next to Alex, with the number 0463 on their uniform, took off their mask.
"Am?" Rosi whispered. Am had scars all across their face and a chunk of her face was missing. Rosi turned away, disgusted, as blood oozed out of missing chunk.
The one at the end took it's mask off, and Rosi saw J's face. There was a hole running through J's head, where Apollo's bullet forced its way to her skull.
"What have you done to them? What have you done to my friends?" Anger filled her eyes as she looked at her three former friends.
Rosi got to her feet and charged at Wolf, or she thought she could. She tried to get up but her whole body was tied up in ropes that twisted around her like snakes.
"Take her to Room 294," Wolf said, smiling. "Are you ready to become one of my minions, little girl?" Wolf smiled as Rosi was lifted up by four soldiers, with their masks on.
"Where are the rest of them? Where's Apollo? Where's Kiro? Where's PJ? Where's Kathy? And you didn't show me what you did with Lana. Where is she?"
"I believe you forgot one..." Wolf walked up to one of the soldiers and pulled the mask off.
"AUBRI!" Rosi wiggled out of the ropes and ran to her.
"Oh, for god's sake." Wolf grabbed Aubri's batton and smacked Rosi around the head. "Stop talking so much, geez." They turned to one the soldiers holding her. "0462, 0463 and 0464." The soldiers saluted.
"Yes, boss."
"Take her to the room."
"Yes, boss."
"And you, 0466."
"Yes, boss.
"Order all of the soldiers to unmask themselves, I think it's best she knows what she's dealing with."
"I agree, boss. On it, boss."

Rosi opened her eyes and went to rub them, but she couldn't move her arms. A pain went through her body as the metal straps holding her down dug into her skin. She tried to move her legs, but the same thing happened. She attempted to lift her head and screamed as the metal dug into her throat.
"I'm going to turn you into one them." Wolf said, stepping forwards.
"Where are they?" She screamed. "Tell me where my friends are." She pleaded and sobbed.
"Fine, you stupid girl. They are with me. Soldiers," Wolf looked behind them. "Come to me." Ten soldiers stepped forwards and saluted Wolf. "You've already met 0462, 0463, 0464, and 0466." Four soldiers looked at Rosi. Alex, Am, J and Aubri's blank expressions caused tears to run down her face.
"Alex... Am... J... Aubri..."
"So, 0465 is Lana." Wolf indicated to Lana, who had a stained shirt. "Oh, right. Yeah, that's from where J shot her. Anyway, this is 0467," Wolf pointed at Apollo. Apollo had a bruise on the side of their face. "This is 0468," Wolf pointed at PJ next. PJ had a black eye and several cuts. "Tortured this one because of Aubri's actions." Wolf laughed.
"YOU MONSTER," Rosi screamed.
"Mhm. This is 0469," Wolf pointed at Kathy, who had blood dripping down her face and burns along her jaw. "This is 0470 or Kiro, as you like to call him. And you, Rosi, will become 0471."
"Wait, wait!" She pleaded as the, now unmasked, soldiers walked towards her. "You call them numbers, but the numbers start with four hundred. Why is that?"
"Oh, this 'show' has been going on for years. More than years, centuries. It doesn't get aired. Of course not. I turn them into my army. I want to rule the world, and I currently have 470 people at my command. You will make that 471."
The soldiers were walking towards her. Tears flooded down Rosi's face as she looked at them but she knew something was wrong. Am had tears on her face. They were alive and had their own memories. They weren't one of Wolf's soldiers. Before anyone could react, Am spud around and hit Alex in the face. Alex fell to the ground as Am pushed J and Aubri into a wall, causing them both to fall unconscious. A small trickle of blood began to seep its way through the floor.
"What are you doing?" Wolf shouted, their hands clenched into fists.
"I'm not your servant and I never was," Am replied, picking up a gun. Bullets fired into Wolf's head, as they screamed and fell to the ground. The metal holding Rosi vanished and she ran to Wolf.
"No..." She leant over them. "I didn't want them to die..." Rosi looked up at Am. "You didn't need to kill."
"Neither did you," Am said, looking down. A knife was wedged in Am's chest. The knife was attached to a hand, and that hand was Rosi's.
"I..." Rosi let go of the knife, which was now red, and backed away.
"What have you done?" Lana ran to Wolf's side and bent over them. She tried to stop the blood, but it wasn't working. Lana was shoved out of the way and knocked onto the ground. She looked up, confused, and saw PJ leaning over Wolf. A whispy blue glow was emitting from Wolf's body. She shuffled back, confused at her power. Reluctantly, she shuffled back towards Wolf. A tear fell from PJ's face, leaving a soft golden trail. Lana scrambled to her feet and ran. After Wolf's "defeat", the "soldiers" were no longer brainwashed. Even though she was not loyal to Wolf, PJ didn't want to see them die. She was leaning over Wolf, trying to keep them alive. The life was slowly draining from their face. Wolf's slightly tanned face was turning a pale white.
"Goodbye..." Wolf's voice whispered as it caught on the breeze. Each word was like a blow to the chest.

She sat up, her head spinning and her vision fading. She quickly slapped herself across the face, in a hope that it would keep her conscious. She looked around and saw she was in a park? It didn't look real, though. It's a fake park? Then she saw the eight people staring at her.

Good job so far <3

Interesting, I wonder what Wolf will do. Also, I love how when Wolf said: 'I'm the Villain' the others completed ignored them xD
