not all people identify as male or female, theres non-binary, agender etc . like cmon now

IIRC, we had this feature for a (very) short while, although it was extremely buggy and we couldn't get it to work. For now, we allow people to opt-out of specifying their gender if they believe they do not fit into a masculine/feminine role.

If you would rather not specify a binary role, you are able to select "other / unspecified" in your personal details. This will make it so that it doesn't show a gender when people view your profile.
