Ditto or not Ditto

We have been looking at all of our games as you can probably see from the latest Downgrade post. We want your opinions on Ditto.

We all know it can be a long game so would making the game shorter be a good thing? Maybe lowering the amount of players to start it? or anything else you want to see in the game. It can be anything at all from just new maps to having a huge elephant appear and say hello, well ok maybe not the elephant, but let your imagination go nuts. Dont worry if you dont think it makes sense. Lots of things dont make sense.

I think the concept behind Ditto is great; it's fun, creative and fits well within the network. However, I think the only reason people aren't playing it as much as other games is because it's not "popular". If it were on a different server which has a larger player count then sure it'd be popular but because when new people join here they don't think much of it. That's sort of how I saw Downgrade when I first joined a couple years back until people forced me to play it and since then I've been hooked! Another red flag is that no one really plays it - you're aware of that. This makes others not want to play it because no one would be there. ( )

I think you should remove Ditto but maybe not completely?? (if you get what I mean) Perhaps bring it back when the server gets more players? This could be within months or longer. But I do like the game and would play it literally every day if I could.

Ditto is probably my favourite game on MCPZ and my suggestion is to add some rewards or maybe more block options or a 2 v 2 mode. Just anything to make it more popular.

EDIT: 2v2 is definitely my favourite idea here. Building and competing together would inspire some great ideas and teamwork and also make the game more played I feel.

I totally agree with @hharis on this one, although I'm not as big of a fan of the game as other people are. I do think we should bring it back after a few months, but maybe with a few more features to the game to make it more fun for everyone.

I'd like to keep it honestly I love that game but cannot play it due to people not playing on it.

I don't see why people want to close Ditto. If it's removed, then what? What changes would that decision make to the server? I personally think that it's just the amount of players playing on PZ that's the real problem. But I do think that lowering the amount of players needed to start the game would be useful.

I love Ditto. But there is like, nobody playing it. And that makes me sad.

I don't think there is any reason in removing it:

• People enjoy it
• Removing it does nothing
• Improve it so people play it
• Let it be known to the wider community what Ditto is (many times I've joined Ditto/ DG/ Splatter and people are like oo I've never played this before)
• Once the rest of the Party Games are released, have a party mode where you join a new party game each round

I agree with Dizzeh. Personally, I feel as though the only reason some people don't play is because everyone loves murder and creative, like I rarely see people in other games unless a staff starts a party. But when more games come, I feel as though more people would want to play them, seeing as they would be great for a party of friends. I know I'm waiting for more games!

Eh, there are lots times when Im not able to create parties of people because nobody really wants to play it. Just make it so everyone can join whenever.

Whenever a new party game was released, everyone was constantly play it for a tiny bit before no one ever was. When no one is playing it, even people who like the game don't go it to because no one ever joins. Downgrade is my favorite game on the server and Splatter is a lot of fun for me, but I still never go to the games because people aren't there. Lowering the player count may be good for now until we get more players on the server, but we just really need to find a way to encourage players to all join the games so no one gets discouraged by there being no one there.
