School districts across the land had started war between them to determine who is the best district.
One man from one of the districts, had proposed the idea to select two from each district. The two chosen, would be forced to participate in life-death situations. The situations would vary from knowledge to combat strength, and anything in between. Except this decade's game, would be unique, risky, and fatal.

Personality: Shaylen is very extroverted. She always tries to start or pick up a conversation with others, otherwise she gets incredibly bored. She does a lot of small talk and loves to joke around, but that doesn't stop her from doing what she needs to do. In a tricky situation, she logically decides what the best choice would be. She keeps her friends close, and her enemies closer. She'll do anything to protect her friends, up to a point where she'll sacrifice herself for the health of them.
Likes/Dislikes: Conversation, jokes, music, dance, procrastination - a problem she can't solve, difficult choices, taking risks, people threatening to harm her friends.
Flaws: She's easily gullible if you manage to scare her. Threaten to hurt her friends and she'll do anything you want.
Skills: She can use a variable range of weapons, from guns to classic melees. Her ideal loadout would be a gun and a small knife, but she'll take whatever she can get. She excels in close quarters and hand-to-hand, but she often leaves her right side unprotected, and she isn't very good with a firearm. She's good at sneaking around undetected, which can serve well for a surprise attack.
Backstory: Shaylen Torres was born in Mexico. While growing up she found it difficult to make friends, only two other girls had decided to befriend her, and Shaylen swore to protect them. In her free time, she taught herself how to fight, with fists and with weapons. She also read a lot of books and played war games on her games console, so she knows the basics of how to use a gun.

Personality: Amaia is very two-faced. To put it simply, Amaia is a liar. Amaia lies about almost everything either for her own personal gains or just for pleasure. It's very rare, but you can sometimes catch glimpses of truth in Amaia. She is a joker but can often become annoying due to her antics. She has strong morals and personal beliefs, but they are mostly covered up by her lies. She may even break her own morals for the greater good. Amaia believes that a person is untrustworthy until proven to be trustworthy. If she trusts someone, she will often shower them in lies and try to get the other person to do whatever they need as long as it doesn't break her morals.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Lies, acting, pranks and trickery. Dislikes: Hypocrites, stupid people
Flaws: She won't allow people to get too close to her, so making allies will be next to impossible.
Skills: Not many people can see it, but she is very intellectual. She is able to make plans quickly, with little to no effort. She can also manipulate others easily
Backstory: Amaia is an orphan, her parents in prison for murder. Her parents were imprisoned when Amaia was 10. Amaia became completely overwhelmed by sadness from the pain of the truth, so she drowned their guilt with lies. Soon, it became completely natural for anything that came out of Amaia's mouth to be a lie. Amaia made her first ever friends at the orphanage, Rosie Allison, Georgia Blythe and Michael Parks. Amaia was finally able to trust in people for the first time, even if the others didn't really know her because of her lies. Amaia left the orphanage at 17 and got a home of her own with funding from the government. Amaia used her lies to get their way but made a list of morals that they would only break for the greater good. These were never committing murder or making someone else commit murder, never breaking a promise and never giving in to the guilt they faced. ...The last one was more of a promise to themselves.

Personality: Wolf is an introvert, they snarky, sarcastic and brutally honest, not regretting anything they say, thinks before they say things. Wolf rarely shows emotion unless it's anger due problems over their life, they keep to themselves, being rude to people they don't trust. Rejects people from their lives before they get rejected themselves, this makes it hard for people to make friends with them. Though they appear like the tuff guy who knoes nothing and is dumb, Wolf is highly intelligent, smart and strategic. They can read people easily, a part of their trusting faze, they will think of how the person will benefit their family and how will they will not. Wolf is loyal, they would rather die then have their friends. They will take charge if it means saving everyone else but themselves, using strategic knowledge than bruit force to solve problems.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Reading, being introverted, peace and quiet, being alone, drawing, wolves, zodiac, stars and last but not least, they love putting people in their place, below them preferably.
Dislikes: Loud noises, loud people and people in general.
Flaws: Wolf can't stand people they love leaving them, rejection basically. Interacting with other people, anxiety creeping up and telling them to be rude to other people. Also handguns, they hate handguns. Wolf wants to be a leader, not a follower but they will always be a follower, they dislike talking about families due to the fact they never knew a good family.
Skills: They are best at knife combat, throwing knives, cool knife tricks, showing off with knife. They are extremely flexible and agile, good at flips and spins. Other than that they are good at long range shooting, sniping with either bow or sniper.
Backstory: Wolf was born in England, Oxford at the brink of war, they grew up roughly, their parents never giving them enough food or enough attention, so one day, when walking in the garden they were attack by a rouge dog. Their parents not noticing at first, but when Wolf was having a bath their mum noticed the large scratches on their legs and arms, she screamed at Wolf's alcoholic father to call 999, doing so Wolf was 3 when they went to their first trip to the Hospital. Staying there for three weeks and missed the start of school, after they were discharged they were sent to school, being bullied due the scars of their legs and arms. They grew up quicker but more sickly than the other students, thinner, bags under eyes, a look of sadness always cast upon them. When secondary school hit, they changed their gender, removing the female parts and becoming non-binary, it helped with the depression a bit but bullying worsened and the depression grew. At home it wasn't much better, they were abused by their alcohol inflicted Dad. At 12 Wolf killed their father, they were protecting their mother but that was too late, they lost their mother and father at 12. Sent to the foster care system Wolf was rude to everyone, would retaliate being made fun of with their fists. Wolf decided to train every day at the gym, they learnt kick-boxing and large amounts of combat. A few years later they were taken to a military school and was one of the best there, smarter than most and faster (when asked 'Who are your parents?' by the other kids Wolf would reply with "I am a broken branch grafted to different family tree, adopted, not because my parents opted for a different destiny, I was twelve when I became a mixed drink of one part left alone and two parts tragedy.") they learnt what they needed to learn to succeed in life, receiving all A grades from exams and tests.

Appearence: They have long golden brown hair that reaches their waist, either it's up in a messy plate or down. Wolf's eyes are dark dark blue like twilight in the winter. Tanned skin with freckles that are dotted around the brim of their nose, a scar from the left cheek to the right side of the collarbone. Wolf usually wears a grey shirt with a black faded Panic! At the disco hoodie over it, covering the hoodie they have a grey jacket that is longer then needs be. Personality: She is literally the embodiment of anti-social. She would much rather be doing things on her own, but she surprisingly won't complain if you join her. She always avoids eye contact, and gets intimidated easily. She is quite sweet once you get to know her, and doggedly loyal. She will probably act like she doesn't care about you, but it's the complete opposite. She is extremely stubborn, and will snap at you if you catch her in a bad mood. She's honestly a pretty depressed person, and just needs someone by her side.
Likes/Dislikes: She loves listening to music, or just listening to at least something. She admires the night-time, and anything to deal with the moon and stars. She does enjoy reading a book mystery novel, but her favorite author has to be Stephen King. She likes a more grunge or retro aesthetic. She dislikes being in large crowds, and having to multi-task. She hates it when people bring up parents into any conversation, and there's a possible chance she might start crying. She hates her sadness, and occasional panic attacks. To be really honest, she hates herself and her body. She doesn't like the color yellow very much.
Flaws: Can be extremely stubborn, cry-baby honestly, uncomfortable easily.
Skills: She is highly intelligent, and has excellent vocabulary. She has the IQ of 203. She is strong, physically but not mentally.
Backstory: Kanashi was born to a seemingly well family. To outsiders, the family was perfect, and nothing bad ever seemed to happen, but when curtains were closed, her parents were like monsters. They would constantly torment her about her weight, looks, grades, anything that didn't seem perfect. At a young age, she grew a burning hatred towards her parents, and did her best to avoid them. She joined the wrong crowds in school, which got her constantly in trouble. When she was invited to stay at her aunt's house, she told the truth, and now she doesn't live with her parents anymore.

She has a button nose, and round, tired eyes. Her eyes are silver colored, and have dark circles under them, which stand out. She has black hair, which is cut above her shoulders, and her bangs mostly cover her left eye. She wears a grey hoodie, which has a cute ghost on it, saying "boo!" Personality: Put simply, Asterin is deadly. She has a wicked behaviour and since she was 17 has enjoyed fighting. However, she isn't sadistic or insane, it's all about survival. As a child, Asterin acted boisterous and impulsive, now she is an intelligent woman who thinks before she acts. She has a dark humour but is extremely loyal to those she trust. She is adventurous and unafraid to go into the unknown. Asterin is almost fearless, not even death scares her. She can be snarky and sarcastic, and is willing to break a couple rules or bones to get her way. But with the right people, she can be put into line and follow directions sharply. Asterin is keen, meticulous and independent. She doesn't mind social interaction, but understands a wall of silence can intimidate someone, so she usually remains quiet.
Likes/Dislikes: Fighting, melee weapons, black coffee and winning. Men, bullying, defeat and anything too sugary.
Flaws: Long-ranged weapons are not her forte. While it isn't a fear, she has a large dislike to men, she has faced a lot of grief from men so she prefers to keep her distance. Asterin is afraid of pitch blackness, she fears what may be lurking, what she cannot see, what she cannot defeat.
Skills: Close combat. Can use pretty much any melee weapon with ease. Asterin is clever and knows all sorts of survival skills.
Backstory: Asterin grew up in poverty in her district. Her father worked as a low level guard that was paid poorly and her mother stayed at their home, raising children. Asterin has multiple siblings, with the majority older than her, she was the only girl in the family for a long while. Her mother was starkly absent in her childhood, only there to feed her and after that, Asterin was her brothers’ problem. She became boisterous like them, fighting and shouting in the streets during the day and playing pranks on one another. When her father would return home, he would teach all her brothers fighting techniques, which they would practice on her, leaving Asterin bloodied and bruised. To combat this, she began practicing herself, copying their fighting movements and eventually asking her father about it. By the times she was seventeen, Asterin was substantial at fighting, but she wanted to be stronger. During the night, she abandoned the family, heading to an illegal fighting pit for good. Her initial plan was to practice fighting by copying, as she had done with her brothers, but when a man attacked her, Asterin killed him. A rule of the fighting pits was never to attack and kill another member outside of the ring, so she was punished. Her punishment was simple, defeat three opponents in the ring in a row. It took Asterin six months, fighting in the pits everyday, before she defeated three. One particular fighter took joy in defeating those punished by letting them take down two others in the row and completely crushing the punished. He was the reason why Asterin’s punishment dragged on for so long. But when she finally defeated him, she killed him, letting everyone know her power. After that, she was unstoppable, becoming the unofficial champion of the pits.

Appearance: Deeply tanned complexion and light grey eyes. Dark brown hair that is wavy and falls past her lower back which Asterin typically braids away. Extremely muscular with wide shoulders, standing at 5'10, she is very intimidating. She usually wears either leather or steel armour, such as gauntlets, greaves and breastplate and then underneath a black tunic with trousers and leather boots. Asterin typically has a wicked smile on her face, further intimidating everyone.

Personality: Alexis is rude and makes any rude remark to anybody at any time. She thinks of herself as the bottom of the chart, and her past hits her square in the head often causing her rudeness. She can be nice to those she is close with, and often thinks outside the box. Once she makes a decision, she sticks with it no matter what. She takes on after her father, who was also rude and had a snarky attitude.Shes often sarcastic and nearly never shows emotion. She also has no hesitation to fight.
Likes/Dislikes: She likes drawing, getting her way, and animals. She hate fighting, even though she will do it with no hesitation.
Flaws: Ranged combat, her flexibility that she barley has, and shutting up when she shoukd.

Personality: Thorne is a very goal minded person. He sees his goal and strives towards it. He is resourceful and sly. He is good with his words (hint the skill set.) He can be manipulative and get people do to what he wants. Thorne is straightforward and knows how to get ahead. He is also VERY loyal- he’d rather die than betray his team, and he expects that back. He gets too emotionally invested in his team, and once he trusts you, he full on TRUSTS you. He is talented at strategizing and looking ahead. Thorne is also a natural at leading and guiding others and is incredibly ambitious.
Likes/Dislikes: Planning ahead, leading his team, being able to fully commit to someone. Following others’ orders, betrayal, compulsive lying, acting before thinking.
Flaws: His stubborness, being manipulative, becoming emotionally attached, not great at physical fighting.
Skills: long range fighting, manipulation can also be a skill, smooth with his words, leading, staying calm under pressure.
Backstory: Thorne had one brother- Jack. They were only a year and a half a part, so they were super close. They did EVERYTHING together. When Thorne was almost 17 Jack went off to college- and completely cut him and his family off. It was unexpected and sudden. Thorne tried to contact him countless times but to no avail. He eventually gave up, and was left with a crushed heart and serious trust issues. His mother and father tried to help him, but he just locked himself in his room most of the time. He stopped caring about his grades, the few friends he had, and his remaining family relationships. Jack was his everything- his brother, yes, but also workout buddy, partner in crime, best friend, and most importantly, his other half. Thorne eventually made up with his parents but he never fully recovered.

Personality: Loki is very intelligent and a brilliant liar. He is somewhat a master of trickery and persuasion being able to convince people to do things for him since he was young. Loki is also quite charismatic and good looking which aids his persuasive aims. He is also a keen master of slight of hand being quite the subtle their.
Likes/Dislikes: Loki likes: persuading, pranking, and athletics. Loki dislikes: killing by hand, and cheese
Flaws: He hears a female voice in his head who he calls "Zyphron" which he talks and sometimes forgets other people can't hear them. Zyphron generally gives him advice to follow and helps him make decisions.
Skills: Running, pranking, sleight of hand, persuading, duel welding khopeshs.
Backstory: When Loki was about 5 years old his "parents" took him in to the woods on a day trip where things quickly turned square. He's so called "parents" turned on Loki with Egyptian style swords (Khopeshs). Instead of running or fighting Loki stood still and in a deep voice unnatural to his young infant one he called upon them to "Freeze" and to his surprise they stopped in there place still and in shock. Loki walked up and disarmed them and took the two khopeshs and used them to kill his attackers. After this encounter Loki started to hear a female voice in his head whom he calls Zyphron. After this encounter Loki changed and Developed a sadness in his eyes but masked it with a fake happy go lucky facade.

Appearence: Loki has brown tousled hair he slightly styles into a quiff when he can be bothered but it usually hangs neatly over his head. Loki has quite a chiseled jawline and face shape. He has dark green eyes which if you look carefully show a subtle dull sadness. He has a small nose which is slightly up turned.
Loki is 5"11 and has an athletic build from years of running climbing and jumping around. Although he doesn't appear overly muscular which helps mask his true strength. He wears a green and black hoodie. Top 2/3 green bottom 1/3 is black. In the space where the colour changes there is a white infinity sign. He wears black skinny jeans and black trainers.

Personality: Niji is eager to try and get along with people, but often can irritate people as he includes unnecessary details just because he knows about them. He gets rather excited about the things he does know, hence occasionally spewing as many relevant (and possibly irrelevant) facts and bits of information as he can. He has mild obsessive compulsive disorder.
Likes/Dislikes: Niji likes things that are logical and make sense, such as puzzles like the rubiks cube. Niji dislikes things that are out of order, and will sometimes try to fix them without asking the relevant people.
Flaws: He can be frustrating to talk to sometimes, and also apologises a LOT. Additionally he can easily get upset when people are being difficult or rude.
Skills: He tends to try and know as much about whoever and whatever is relevant to him. Also, he tries to understand people by reading their body language and speech patterns (and possibly fighting style).

Personality: Can be stubborn when it comes to things they find important, but is mostly a loner and spends a lot of time either working on tech stuff or doodling. Extremely socially awkward, but is quite intelligent, with an IQ of 165. They seem to have an instinct of empathy towards pretty much everyone. This gets quite exhausting for them, so they prefer to stay alone on their laptop. They tend to get overstimulated quite easily, which leads to a nervous breakdown, more the reason to stay alone. But when they are with people, they are quite sarcastic, and says things how they are; acting quite "Cool". When they manage to create strong social connections, they get super protective of them, often acting as a father figure, and will do anything in their power to let them grow safely, Not hindering their potential, but lending a helping hand.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Computers, Technology, Pizza, their stuffed mouse Longtails, music. Dislikes: most people, Loud noises.
Flaws: Anxiety, and erm.. they can sometimes be a biiittt of a jerk.
Skills: Hacking, Pretty much anything digital (To the point where they edited their glasses to be mini one-sided computer screens.. with yknow seeing being a thing too)
Backstory: Max tends to keep quiet about this subject, but they have been subject to quite a lot of bullying when they were younger, for a form of autism they had (And still have, but is better at hiding it and acting "Normal") when they were younger. Other than that, somewhat normal.. despite extreme trauma from someone named "Sebastian".
