Story:

The story is based on the story My Hero Academia. If any of you have heard of the side-story manga 'Vigilantes' thats basically what this is.

I'll explain both My Hero Academia and Vigilantes. My Hero Academia is based around an AU where the population begins to generate superpowers called 'quirks'. These quirks enabled the possibility that many never thought would happen; the possibility of becoming a real-life superhero! 80% of the population has one of these quirks. 20% are quirkless. The protagonist of MHA is quirkless, but his dream is to be a hero.

Vigilantes is about a boy with a modest quirk who blew his shot at becoming a hero. He tries to become a hero nontheless (you'll see how this story goes since this story is a combination of the two).




I'm using roles in this rp. Your characters are based off of these roles, however, I'm going to name the roles without giving much away on what they do or their position in the story.


Not just this: but if I can, if I get the time, I'll try to do promotional art for the story.

Personality*: Ether is a wacky and crazy girl, her personality twisted. She is highly obsessed with the things/people she considers interesting. She's witty and a joker, but her humour can be very dark and disturbing. She is completely fixed on her own goals and desires and will do anything she can to get her way. Acts innocent and kind when told what she is doing is wrong. She trusts nobody but herself and usually is only sane when talking to people she trusts. Her emotions are unstable and can change quickly. (I will be willing to add to this if need be, but it might take some time as it's kinda hard for me to list down things about Ether's personality)

Looks* (Can leave an image, link, Minecraft skin, or just a description): Her hair is blond, coming down to just above her shoulders. She has emerald-green eyes. She wears a grey shirt with green stripes and brown trousers with grey pumps. Her appearance is meant to look innocent compared to her real personality.

Backstory* (If it seems too long don't be afraid to DM me your character's backstory - it helps! :) ): The oldest of two children in her family, living with her parents and her younger brother Michael. They lived in a small cottage in the woods. Ether was 16 and Michael was 12 when a shocking event caused the two of them to be left homeless and alone. A forest fire, burning down the cottage they were in. Ether's personality back then was left twisted and more kind and protective, saving her brother from impending doom and running throughout the forest in search of shelter, leaving their burning home behind. The two siblings were fearful for their lives and mourning the deaths of their parents. They came across a small shack in the woods and decided to stay there for the night. The shack was packed wall to wall with china vases, each one designed differently to the others. Michael grabbed a stool from the back of the room and reached up for one of the vases on the top shelf, curiosity getting the better of him. The shelves collapsed and all the vases fell from the shelves, all of them crashing down onto the two. A black mist emitted from the vases, swirling around the siblings. The smoke cleared, and the smoke caused a genetic mutation, causing their so-called "quirk" to be created. Someone walked into the shack and stole Michael away from Ether, and the time and travel alone caused Ether to become dark and twisted. The status of Michael's health is unknown.

Personality*: Lana is sweet but sour. She can turn on you as fast as the speed of light. She's nerdy and very intelligent. She's very secretive about her personal lives and focus's more on others. She'll always carry around books, especially her favourite one with a red cover. She's great when it comes to developing/creating strategies. She knows simple self-defense and offense, but not an expert on it. (She has the knowledge of how to fight, but doesn't have the strength for it like some other kids).

She wasn't very social, but she was willing to talk if someone would start a conversation with her. She mainly read books to pass time, and eventually ran away. She was self-taught on how to defend herself, seeing as she would get into many fights on the street. She was found by a librarian who allowed her to live with her if she promised to work with her. She was promised education and books, so she happily agreed. Her 'step-mother' soon passed away and she was forced to drop out of school.

Personality*: Gojira is a strange girl, who is often at war with herself. She wants to prove to the world that her looks, doesn't equal her personality. She can be very grumpy at first, but once you really get to know her, she's a good friend. She's doggedly loyal, and will do anything in her power to protect those she cares about. She seems to annoyed quite easily, but she'll keep it to herself, unless you really annoy her. She doesn't go off and look for fights, actually, she hates violence. When it comes to having a love interest, she will become curious about them, and often watch them. She'll try to act tough, and stoic. She gets embarrassed if you get affectionate with her, even if it's a small compliment.

She has a lot of muscles on her arms, and has a more stocky build. She has a slight tan, and a rounder face shape. She has incredibly sharp teeth, and one tooth pokes out from the right corner of her mouth. She has a button nose, and almond shaped eyes. She has black, short hair that's usually in a messy style. Her eyes are crystal blue. She has freckles as well. She wears a dark grey-ish blue jacket, in which the sleeves are torn off. Underneath that jacket is a black under armor shirt. She wears navy blue jeans, with black overworn converse. On the back of her jacket, are spikes, which are actually part of her. (Too know what these spikes look like, look up 'Godzilla'.)
Backstory* (If it seems too long don't be afraid to DM me your character's backstory - it helps! :) ): She was born on a snowy, but beautiful day. Sadly her mother didn't survive giving birth to her, so she was raised with her father. Her father was a strange man, who often conducted experiments on people in their basement. He usually gave average humans some animal abilities, but in that process, he basically tortured them. Gojira was practically scared of her father, thinking he might do that to her someday if she didn't listen to him. She was already different, since she had the spikes on her back. One night, her father took her into the basement, and locked her in a chamber. He wanted to know more about her condition, and why she had it. In pure fear, she screamed, and someone who was trapped in there had broke the chamber. She was able to escape the house and leave behind her father. She was soon found by an old man, who studied strange animals, so he adopted her, and took care of her.

She has spikes on her back, and has a tail. She's extremely agile, and amazing at climbing things, such as trees. If you want me to change this, I surely will!

Personality*: Tsumi is a brave kid with the guts of a pro. He is a very bright child with a good outlook on life always looking at the bright side of life. He is very smart and a massive book nerd. He loves fantasy books and games because he is a massive dork. One of his weaknesses is that if a friend is in danger he will drop to the ground running to help them no matter the situation.

He has small ears which are pushed back against his skull. His nose is small and he always has a smile on his face. For the past few years (7 to be exact) he has been on a mission since to find his family, currently unsuccessful. To help with his Tsumi believes by coming a hero his family will be able to identify him and bring him home.

When Tsumi is glowing it allows him to move faster, makes him stronger, allows him to shoot golden brand of light or to heal people). He is only able to use his quirk when it is day time or if he has enough light left over from daytime to use in the night. Healing takes a lot of light and so does beams of light. He can only use strength and speed in daylight.

Personality*: Ays is very sweet. She is kind and protective, she appears weak and defenceless, but she is strong-willed and powerful. She can be funny and bubbly, graceful and elegant. She can be outgoing and is willing to help anyone in need. Aya is an optimist and is a wonderful person to be friends with. She is polite and eloquent. Typically introverted, she is more than willing to be a part of a conversation, she isn't rude to anyone and could talk to someone for hours on end. Aya holds an air of grace, she is mature and is a voice of reason.

She is quite pale and stands at 5'6, she has grey eyes, little dimples in her cheeks and Aya is quite skinny. Aya typically wears a long-sleeved black top, a tartan skirt, black knee-high socks and black boots. She also wears a black face mask to cover her mouth.

As a result, she has the ability to manipulate darkness. She was taught by her parents to use her powers and also master them, along with her younger sister, Wren, who has a more temperamental and destructive quirk. Aya began tutoring her sister as best as she could, though she always aspired to become a hero in order to positively influence her sister.

Favourite sport: He's not really a sports person, but he'll do ok with sports like basketball where his height is an advantage.

Why do they want to be a hero / villain?*: Seems right. His morals are pretty set in stone, and he'll have physical difficulty going against them.
Any distinguishing marks? (Scars, etc): He doesn show much skin, but you'd see scars in ordered lines down his arm, where he'd had blood transfusions after a serious accident..
Likes: Anything complex really. He enjoys just looking through things, like fancy mechanisms.
Dislikes: He can have times of disliking humans, but always dislikes annoying habits he'll notice other people doing, like biting their nails.
Favourite music: Not really proper genres n stuff, jus random songs really. Anything that isn't too heavy, but also not too 'pop'.

Personality*: Can be stubborn when it comes to things they find important, but is mostly a loner and spends a lot of time either working on tech stuff or doodling. Extremely socially awkward, but is quite intelligent, with an IQ of 165. They seem to have an instinct of empathy towards pretty much everyone. This gets quite exhausting for them, so they prefer to stay alone on their laptop. They tend to get overstimulated quite easily, which leads to a nervous breakdown, more the reason to stay alone. But when they are with people, they are quite sarcastic, and says things how they are; acting quite "Cool". When they manage to create strong social connections, they get super protective of them, often acting as a father figure, and will do anything in their power to let them grow safely, Not hindering their potential, but lending a helping hand.

Backstory* (If it seems too long don't be afraid to DM me your character's backstory - it helps! :) ): Max tends to keep quiet about this subject, but they have been subject to quite a lot of bullying when they were younger, for a form of autism they had (And still have, but is better at hiding it and acting "Normal") when they were younger. Other than that, somewhat normal.. despite extreme trauma from someone named "Sebastian"

Does when nervous (Example: plays with hair): They always keep their hands close to their chest, and gets quite tense.
Does when angry (Example: a certain tone in their voice, ignoring others, isolating themselves): They try to look intimidating, but most of the time they look more like a pouting kitten than anything you'd be afraid of. Until, of course, they straight up hecc you up.
Does when sad (Example: eats ice cream?): Really isolates themself, and.. yeah. sad times.

Quirk* (I may DM you and ask you about this in more detail // some questions like 'can it do this' 'does it let them do this'): Something I call "Cyberspace": Able to connect to all digital wavelengths to get access to anything they want. They do this with their glasses, and using their mind to type/hack things: Able to get the location/sound of anyone with a digital device, and any info on said devices.

Personality*: Reyez is probably so sweet it'll hurt a person. He's gentle with everyone, and tries his best to make friends. He's constantly doubting himself, and has low self esteem. He's extremely sensitive, you can call him 'stupid' and he'd bawl his eyes out. He only means well, especially to his best friend, Gojira. He always wants to do things for her, and will a l w a y s be by her side. To be honest, he can't even be away from her for long, or he'll think something bad happened to her. He usually looks sad, or depressed. He's very intelligent, having an IQ of 203. He's very nerdy as well, constantly quoting lines from movies like Star Wars or Harry Potter. He likes anime as well.

He has an award-winning smile, but he usually never shows it. Both of his ears have black piercings. He usually wears a black hoodie, that has a broken heart on the left side of his chest. Sadly though, he was bullied in school for his natural white hair and silver eyes. Until one day, while he was 14, he met a girl named Gojira. He thought that she was the most beautiful girl in the world, even with the lizard-like appearance. He tried to talk to her, but he constantly chickened out. While he was getting beaten up by a bully, Gojira stepped in, and scared them off. They've been best friends ever since.

He can go through walls, but it can hurt him. He can do invisible, but he does that as a last resort. He cannot levitate, sadly. He has extremely strong telekinesis.

Dislikes: He dislikes his depression, being insulted, heights, the dark, and being alone for a while.

Anything extra I should know?: He has a thick French accent, and when he talks about Gojira, he speaks in French.
