@gigosaurus implement this and let's get married :^)
I don't think a computer can see gender. Also to be lgbt+ make it so people can marry if they are lgbt+
Go for itI think that this is a great idea as half of creative is based on roleplaying, and a lot of people have got married already but without the command , and it would add a bit of extra fun to creative. There are obviously some issues including the spam of popular players, but if we find a way to work that issue out then I think that this should be implemented. +1
Read my original response to this suggestion. I still don't think /marry is necessary or beneficial.I rated this "Don't Implement," and I think you should know why.
Those are my reasons. Feel free to have your own opinion about them.
- Spam - Even though there's a cooldown, I still think this could have the potential to get a bit heavy on the spam, especially if popular players get a lot of marriage requests.
- u hurt my feelings m9 - This is kind of a lame point, but I think this has a potential to cause arguments within the server, especially when some players take it a little further, emotionally speaking, than casual roleplay.
- Divorce/Remarriage - Okay, I'm going to sound super religious here. I don't care. This could very well serve as a source of encouragement for divorce and remarriage. Please do not misunderstand me. Divorce and remarriage can work in some situations, but in many cases, it can tear families apart and potentially ruin the lives of the children. I'm not saying a virtual divorce will do that, but it's possible that the act of repetition in this field may begin to teach children that divorce and remarriage is a good thing that everyone does, "so why not do it yourself?"
Spam -- We can easily abate the spam with the marry toggle command suggested aboveI rated this "Don't Implement," and I think you should know why.

I disagree. The minigame uses murder as a core mechanic - the point being to stop the murderer before they kill everyone. Creative is about building things, not committing to marriage.By this logic, Murder encourages homicide (which it really doesn't).
Not everyone realises that it's "not that deep." Young children may start thinking that it's more serious. If this feature is implemented, children may see other players marrying and divorcing left and right, giving them the idea that this is normal. You can't simply assume that everyone playing on the server thinks the way you do. Kids often do as they see, and we shouldn't be feeding the aforementioned bad idea into their heads. Also, it's just getting married on a Creative server -- it's not that deep. If people take it too seriously they can disable messages for it
I don't believe that players will think this is serious, as they know most people marry when they are older anyway also as Gaurav said, murder shows people killing others, which is worse irl than marrying and divorcing, but younger kids enjoy this game and have certainly not gone out in the real world and tried it. The command will be fun and any arguments can be dealt by staff members in the usual way.Not everyone realises that it's "not that deep." Young children may start thinking that it's more serious.
