Hi Partyzone..

Before I begin, I want to note that I am not intending to offend anyone in anyway, shape, or form, also this is just a 3am kind of post. Might regret it, might not. I also want to note that I am not a licensed doctor obviously, just sharing what helped me.

Well, Hey, I'm Amina, I'm 15 and I have been diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and Depression.

I want to sorta rant, share my experience, and how it helped.

I personally do not like how people online and offline think that having a mental disability is fun. I don't think you should aspire to have one. ive been told I am faking it, I've been told I was lucky for having one? I've been told similar things between the two. I just hope that those out there who think mental disabilities are cool to have, stop thinking that. They are a burden, but they are also apart of you, you cannot simply just have one.

Here's sorta my story; well I'm currently in high school, through middle school I was homeschooled and very alone which dropped my mood low everyday, it escalated into constantly losing motivation to do things I would normally do. Eventually I gained the fear of death and began having panic attacks every other night, if not night for around 3 months.

How people around me helped; When I was homeschooled, I found the game MineCraft. I bought it with money from my parents back in 2012 or 2013, my first server I joined was a server called CakeCraft, that is now shut down, but back in Dec or Jan of 2014-2015, I joined PartyZone! You may or may not remember my past usernames. NameMC me if you're not sure. The community is accepting and loving of every single person come no matter how unique or different they are, the community helped me and I hope this helps you.

Each human being has beauty within them that normally they do not see themselves, they seek validation in others, but I'm here to tell you, you are beautiful in any way, shape, or form you are. You are accepted and loved by someone, and if not many people in this world.
I've had friends tell me they think they are ugly, fat, etc
Did you know you see yourself 4x less attractive than others see you? Yeah that means I will see you 4x more attractive than you see yourself. Is that a confidence booster or what?

Those with anxiety, I just want you to have this technique that I've had through the years of panic attacks

Breathe In for 4 Seconds
Hold It for 7 seconds
Breathe out for 8 seconds
Repeat

This causes your body to calm itself.

When you walk into a classroom late and cause sound, humans are naturally going to turn to hearing a unexpected noise, it is not your fault.

Finding someone to keep you grounded is important, it's better if you're able to make yourself that person, but as you grow through the years. It's always best to keep hope and always fight, tell someone when you're ready to give up, tell me, I will fight for you.

I am currently, fighting both of those, I am positive through it all! It helps a lot. I have been as happy as I was as a kid, I've made met so many amazing people on this server that help me and motivate me everyday! Heck I even came out as Pan on this server because I was so accepted. Just thank you.

This touched me very much. I love how you were able to tell everyone about this and not be afraid to be open. And I feel this server has grown into much more than a server. We are one big, crazy, discombobulated family. And that is something people can never take away, because you will always have the memory of it. I actually relate very well (please correct me if I talk about myself too much, or any reason) I was self-diagnosed with ADHD and I get bullied for just looking one way and the teacher looking directly at me. I also very recently shared my story and the truth behind my thousand of lies to this family. It was hard. I feel this alone shows great maturity and mental strength. You should not feel judged at all here. (As a matter of fact, I think that we have more forums members than we do server)
If you need a shoulder to cry on anytime at all, please don't be afraid to tell me.

I really appreciate this comment, no one should ever be afraid to be open about themselves, yes this server's community is sweet, loving, and open, which is why I remain on the server and am able to share what I wish. I trust them all. ADHD is hard to have, but I know those who have fidgeting tools that help them, though I am not 100% on other symptoms but you should talk to someone about being bullied about it. You are lovely, and thank you.

ADHD is a pain to have sometimes. Being diagnosed by a doctor and taking the proper meds tend to help. It is caused by certain chemicals not firing off correctly in your brain and the meds redirect these chemicals so that they go to the right places. It's a pain to be constantly distracted or hyper and not being able to sit still. Both the meds and those fidget toys really help us though x3
I have been teased about it in the past, but now I try to play the symptoms of ADHD to my strengths rather than complain about it. Though if I were to take a test without my meds I would most likely fail x3

Thank you so much for giving me a little information in depth on ADHD, from what I've heard it seems difficult to bear with it, the idea of medication is really heartbreaking for me, but I'm glad that those with ADHD have alternative. Thank you again.

<3 i love this, a person in my family has a mental disability, so i can sort of relate. Thank you <3

Much love for that family member, thanks for taking time to read it. ❤️

Very brave of you to share with us. You will always be accepted in the PartyZone community. Thank you for sharing this message, possibly could've helped someone with the same disability or illness. <3
