Age: She's something called a 'soul fragment', meaning she's technically imortal (not invincible) but she dies and becomes reborn as the same person, so everyone knows her but she disguises herself differently because of what she's done in the past. In this life, she's currently 18 and her birthday is on Febuary 30th (juuuust wait)

Appearance: She has a skull over half of her face, and the visible eye she has is bright blue and glows from time to time (will be explained in the unfortunate event/relating power). Under her skull she doesn't have an eye (will also be explained in the unfortunate event). Her hair is brown and all to one side. She wears shorts and a halfway torn grey shirt (it looks like a crop top), and on her left leg she has a compass rose tattooed in dark red.
Unfortunate event: Oh boy, be ready for some reading and understanding. Ages ago, in a different world, a girl named Xyxes was born. She was a born leader and warrior. The human race relied on her for protection, along with her guards and soldiers. One soldier in particular never paid attention to her orders but was a loyal fighter, so Xyxes told the soldier she no longer had to fight, but instead had to work as her servant to teach her how to be disciplined. The soldier went onto being her servant, the unnamed soldier was aloof but never failed to attend to her duties. The servant was completely different than what she had been like when she was a soldier. Xyxes never had someone who had challenged her with wits, and not physical strength. Xyxes liked how the servant girl entertained her, and made her joyful at the same time. The girl started to take lessons from Xyxes and formed a relationship with her, like a mother-daughter type thing. The people of this world started taking notice of this girl, and said she was a wanted witch from another town who seemed refuge here. The girl refused these claims to be true. Xyxes didn't want to be known for having a fugitive as a soldier, so she said the girl was her daughter and she had known her for her entire life and would never let anything like that happen without her notice. The girl, never having real parents before since she was a soul fragment, said nothing about this to be a lie or the truth. Then, the entire world changed, and war broke out. Xyxes refused to let the girl fight, and instead went into battle herself. When she returned, she was gravely ill and the people were dismayed. Everyone gave the money that they didn't have to try to repair Xyxes' illness, but she refused their offers. The girl fell into a deep sadness, and she ran into the woods where no one could ever find her again unless she wanted to emerge. She cried every single day for hours, dying her eyes blue and making them seemingly glow. After about three straight months of crying and waiting, she went back for Xyxes. Xyxes has only gotten worse since she had left, she had gotten more ill each day. Sadness crept into the girl's soul again, but this time she couldn't just sit around and wallow in her own sadness. She had to do something. Xyxes wouldn't take medicine from people, or their money, so the girl was stuck for what she had to do. Then it hit her. If she wanted her mother back, she'd have to manipulate her. So that night, she crept into Xyxes' room, took her blade, and carved her own left eye out for all the tears she had been put through. Then, in anger for thinking of all the reasons she had done this to herself, she murdered her own mother. She then died from the bleeding, but was reborn again only to let her know that she was now hated for the murder of Xyxes Dragonhive. The second her eye was removed from her body, a part of her soul left too, only leaving a compass on her left leg to always know which way to be driven. She now wears a skull and uses the nickname 'Echo'. Though, when she was reborn the 187th time, she had switched to the world the story takes place in. She just thought it had been a long time since she died. -ta da-
Relating Power: Her power is for her to make her eyes glow light blue, feeding from the sadness that she bears. She can manipulate others' emotions and actions with this strange glow. It only glows when she's in danger/sad, and when it does glow, she's stuck in a strange trance where she can't talk and she's just floating in the air carried by the light. It's very rare for her eyes to start glowing.
