"She wasn't in my class." Cooper gnawed at his bread.
"Neither mine." Donovan and Cooper looked at Max.
"Running late." Max shrugged it off and continued eating his pizza.
"OOOoooOOO!!" Cooper shuffled across the table. "Playboiiiii!" Cooper sniggered.
"I thought you had an internet friend?" Don ate his hamburger some more...
"Eliana right? Don't you guys wanna meet?" Cooper sat back again.
"Yeah. But it's too hard for us, she has parents and it's hard to get somewhere an hour away without parents noticing." Max swallowed.
"Can't you go to her?" Don ate a bit again and swallowed mid-sentence.
"No. Stranger danger. She has to say she's going somewhere to get away. It's not as easy as you think." Max finished and took his tray to the side, clanging it down the rectangular hole.
"Why don't we help ya?" Cooper walked backwards in front of Max. Max shrugged.
"If you're so interested, then sure, I'll call you two tonight." Max walked to the side.
"It's baseball practice first!" He smiled and waved as they went separate directions.
"Oi! Max! Ready, lad? We're practicing for the comp!" A coach with dark, short hair waved Max over in his baseball kit. Max nodded and ran over. Their comp was on Saturday; two days to train. That's decent.
