My tale starts in a place which not many people know of except the people who live there; yes, I'm talking about Claethorps, the small town in the north of Dracborough. My names Willow and I lived normally, I grew up in a small cottage at the border of Claethorps near the woods where I loved to explore as a young child but then... In a mere day my whole life was changed, all by one. Wrong. Move.
I decided I wanted to explore the woods again when I turned 18 to have throwbacks of my childhood, instead you might ask? I witnessed hell....
There was no friendly chirps of the fellow Robins, or the passive, tranquil hops of the rabbit and bunnies, instead? I heard the howling of ravenous wolves looking for their next meal, the meal the alpha, beta, omega and the pack would hunt. I heard growls increase as the pack advanced towards me, soon after to find out I was surrounded by them. I thought it was over like in a video game where you ran out of lives.
I tried to distract them by throwing the silky gloves which were once my dads in a direction I thought they would run -it didn't work. I tried puffing my chest like some animals did to scared off predators -it didn't work. It only seemed to agitate them more, I was screwed. I couldn't run, I could hide. I just had to face it....
As their alpha advanced menacingly, with a scar that could be easily seen on its face, it growled but then... I growled back. I didn't know why but it seemed natural. Was I stupid? I basically just challenged their alpha..
Instead of trying to pounce on me, tear me to shreds something unusual happened, all the wolves cautiously stepped back, including the alpha.. My tailbone hurts, the top of my head hurts... Why? Fortunately , I had my phone on me so I looked at myself and almost screamed, although all that came out was a whimper...
Chapter Two!
As the helpless whimper subsided I saw a pair of grey ears on my head, the tips a ruby-red and a grey tail, the tip also coloured on my thin waist. I thought to myself: "A~Am I a.. werewolf?! N~No.. I can't.. They're not real, are they?"
It's as if the wolf pack could hear me and gave a comforting whimper; then their 'alpha' bounced over playfully and rolled onto it's back, asking to be played with. I tilted my head slightly and my left ear twitched slightly. The wolves look worried and backed up, I tried comforting them but they ran..
I was walking home when I felt my ears and tail almost 'disappear' as if they were hidden, I walked (head down) back to my family's little cottage.. I arrived home and my mum looked faint and managed to stutter some words: "Willow.. You.. Found.. Out.. I'm.. Sorry.. Told.. You.."
I replied, still feeling weak, "It's fine mum.. I guess.. It's just fate.. I'm just going to sleep on it. This is our secret, yeah?"
Willow's mum nodded and headed to the kitchen, falling on a couple of steps, still shocked.
I flopped onto my bed, tired and my ears and tail appeared.. "Hopefully I can keep this a secret.." She'd think as she feel asleep...
Thanks for reading! ;w; It wasn't the longest, sorry for that but.. I hope you enjoyed.
