I woke up next to Alvin and looked around. He was playing some arcade game, Pacman I think it was. He said "you're up, finally". He closed his phone and walked over. I said "wow, that was too much for 1 night". I got up and looked at him. I said "did you bring any food?". Alvin looked down and said "when you said to run I took whatever I could grab on the way out". I looked out the window and saw the village. He said "I have water though" and I responded "get ready, we're going down there". There we were, standing in front of the village. "Split up" Alvin said. I looked at him and said "since when does that work". He said "this isn't a movie, it will work, any problems, scream and run back to the treehouse". I nodded and we ran into the village. I looked around and saw the bakery. There was no sign of life anywhere I walked in and looked around. A loud spark came up behind me and I looked behind me to find a dead body, which clearly had the virus. His jaws were both bit down on an electric wire hanging out of the wall. I looked over trying to ignore his dead body. I found the TV at the bakery and turned it on. All the channels were offline. This plague had spread too fast. I walked over to get into the bakers work space and I found bread. I looked in the chest and started taking bread. I was loading up my backpack when I heard a loud screech and a yell. I ran outside and saw someone running with 2 Widows behind them. I couldn't tell if they were Alvin but they had different clothing on. I started running over and realized I had no weapon. I yelled "hey!". The person kept running but the Widows turned around. They started chasing me and I turned around and ran back to the bakery. I knew I would be trapped and I had no plan. I ran inside and closed the door. I grabbed a chair and put it in front of the door. The Widows ran into the door and after a while stopped banging the door. I stood back and waited for something to happen. I heard screeches outside and some kind of tearing of flesh. Everything went silent and the I heard 2 knocks on the door. I slowly opened it with a fork in my hand and found Alvin standing outside. He said "I found the armory, the Widows weren't very friendly". I had no idea what was going on and it took me some time to process what was happening. I heard some Widows out in the distance and said "there was someone, or thing. Widows were chasing it. I distracted them, the person must still be out there". Alvin said "whoever they are, they can handle themselves. Top priority right now is us". I said "fine". He made a hand motion that basically said "quiet". We saw the person up on a tree. We looked at eachother and Alvin said "she won't come down for a while, those Widows leave a scar. Well get her later". I looked at him and he looked back. "How do you know it's a she?" I asked and he said "you need glasses". We walked over to the armory and he said "armors in the left chest, weapons are on the right". I ran over and we heard screeching. He said "you loot, I'll make sure no Widows come near". I started looting chests and I found a room in the back with gold. I said "there's gold back here, you know?". I didn't get a response and I walked back over to the main area and I found Alvin with his back against the wall. He whispered "get back!". I got back and peeked my head out of the doorway. I saw Widows walking past the armory entrance. 2 stayed near the entrance. They peeked in and started sniffing. Alvin got impatient and took out his sword. He turned and stabbed one in the head. The other started rushing towards him. He twirled his sword around and stabbed it in the neck. It was still alive though. It punched away his sword and pinned him to the wall. I looked in a chest and found a bow and arrow. I aimed and fired and hit it in the back. It fell and Alvin took the arrow out of its back. Alvin stabbed the Widow twice and it fell down dead. Alvin looked at me as if he were tired and I smiled at him. I heard some sounds and looked behind him. There were several more Widows. I said "run!". He started running towards me and I shot one of them. They didn't go down easy. It kept running towards me and I looked at Alvin. He looked at me waiting for my input and I didn't know what to tell him.
