Why was this thread deleted?

Some threads staff think aren't appropriate so they'll delete them.

In this instance, I think staff thought it wasn't appropriate to talk about the demotion of LetsGoCrazy so they decided to delete it. Especially since they probably thought that it was a general thing to demote him and ThaMango is trying to get him back.

Plus if they got him back, they would have to deal with other staff members who have been demoted for breaking the rules wanting to get back in.

But he didn't break any rules.

He was working for other servers. Now unless you want this thread deleted I suggest we shh :3

The rule was, you can't staff on other servers. I cleared this up with them when I was a helper, being a builder is *not* staffing. So I don't understand what rules were broken here.

also why is being staff on other servers against the rules?

I deleted the thread because of reasons explained in a DM I sent to him specifically. I won't explain everything I said, but I'll paraphrase: the thread was deleted because it would only create issues between staff and players, it wouldn't actually benefit LetsGoCrazy. The staff handle promotions and demotions exclusively, it is not open to the speculation of other people. If you'd like to privately encourage Leo (LGC) to reapply, that's reasonable-- and would actually have an effect.

No, technically the thread didn't break any forum rules, but I speculated that the thread would only bring drama and arguing, and would not accomplish its goal of resolving what it was attempting to. There shouldn't be an issue to begin with. All of us love Leo dearly, but please keep in mind that the demotions we enforce are just.
