U.K.
So I have been a member of this server for a little bit of time now and I noticed that you cannot apply for Staff unless you are VIP. This is pretty silly and is a money stealer. Basically you want people to pay for Staff.. Bit rude:/

Actually, you can get VIP for free (win an event, or someone can buy it for you). And I've heard that some people have never bought VIP, but they got promoted. Plus it's not "money stealing", but "donating". You can help server by donating, and maybe then by moderating here.

Like @MyMinecraftGamez said it's donating. Without people buying VIP ect. the server wouldn't be able to run. Nad you need to be VIP or so on as it shows you are willing to donate your money/time for being helper.

Rude? I don't think so. Sometimes when servers do this it's a test to see if your purchase was legitimate. Secondly, popular servers have loads of players, so we might have more staff than players.
It's called donating.

You need vip to apply but people have been given helper without applying before like for example Igr

I don't know if this is the "Real Reason" but it could be That by donating you show that you like the server and will spend time on it so you can therefore apply for staff knowing that you want to be on the server

Donating to the network shows a level of dedication to PartyZone that's a good way to prove loyalty. Requiring VIP or above also lowers the overflow of applications we get, seeing as we get quite a few. If we didn't have any sort of limits, we'd get far too many to decide on them reasonably.

However, like @TriSarahTops said -- it is not absolutely necessary to have a donator rank. If you can prove to the staff team that you're a very good candidate, exceptions can be (and have been) made.
