Feedback Why do we even curse?

I've seen many people who go hardcore and curse in threads, replies, etc. It is not nice at all, and kids might be viewing them. Here are pros and cons, but I'd vote the cons.

Pros! (Yawn...)

  • You will stand a strong upstand, showing that you are not fooling around and you want your point to succeed.

  • You will show either rage or hardcore upstanding, people will often respond quoting it too assist if you chose the opinion multiple people agree with.

  • You will show true meaning of standing up for a point, this may convince others to use the same foul language to assist.

Cons! (Yay! ^_^)


  • You will be reported several times, mods will edit your message and the bad words will be cut out and you will be given a (probable) email saying that you cursed on the forums.

  • You will be faced against people who report, and they will separate your words to talk about it. I highly doubt even trying to hide it.

  • Don't try to hide it. People can "Quote save" which they will quote and copy it and post it to a staff, as they will view the link they can provide.

I'm not sure why you made this thread but usually if someone curses a staff member would warn them and if they get enough warnings they'd get a forum ban. :)

Swearing is a way to express anger but shouldn't be shown around kids, so I mean if you're really angry you'd probably yell one

Great ideas if you see a thread/reply with posting!
1. Quote them, reply to their words and ask a mod, such as Snvwy to close the thread.
2. Don't respond to their new reply, it could lead to potential flame wars.
3. Report the dang message.

1. You do realize that even though you just gave us examples, it's still against the rules to remove/replace a few letters of a swear word. (So I recommend removing those examples.)
2. If you quote a player who used a curse word, the curse word would also appear on your post, so I don't recommend doing so.

Overall, I don't see a point for this thread as we already know what to do when we see a player breaking the rules, and staff threads constantly to see if anyone is misbehaving. But thank you for trying to help!
