Host: Welcome back folks to 2017's number 1 voted game show: 'Who's To Blame?'! Last episode we met our 10 hopeful contestants, sharing us their strengths, weaknesses and personality. Who do you think will win? Who was your favourite? Want to know who will be the lucky winner? Well, keep on watching! Ah, is that a black limo I see in the distance? That must be our contestants arriving to their new home. I wonder what they'll think.
As a big jet black limo parks along the curb, an enormous, beige and maroon mansion stands. One by one, each contestant slowly takes one step out of the vehicle, speechless. Eyes are wide open, and jaws are dropped, there in front of them stood the most marvelous and magnificent mansion. Every single person is shocked, even Knox and Hayley are excited!
Justin: Wait, we're staying here!? Wow! This is so exciting!
Mia: I can't wait to see our rooms!
Knox: I must admit, this isn't half bad!
Fleur: That's the spirit Knox!
Butler: You're rooms will all be on the second floor, there will be a note on the doors, assigning you to your room, if you have a complaint about anything, see me immediately.
All the bubbling contestants run into their new home, bouncing with excitement. Wolfia is the first one up, barging everyone who gets in her way. Next up is Mia, followed by Justin, then Nick, then Fleur, then Lana, then Natalie, then Hayley, then Knox, then Daniel. All are excited to explore the humongous house. As they all look on their doors slowly, an eerie sensation fills the hallway, giving the contestants a nervous feeling. Had they forgotten that one of them was the murderer, and any one of them were to die? After they all got comfy in their bedrooms and had unpacked, they were called down to the lounge area, where they were told their 'survival guide' and the rules.
Butler: I'm pretty sure you know the rules, seeing that Joey mentioned them before your interviews. Now, I want to tell you how this is gonna work. As you can see, there are 10 of you. Just 10, ordinary people, hungry for the jackpot.
Knox: And the food!
Butler: Uh, sure? Anyway, as you know, one of you in here right now, is a murderer. Their objective is to kill one of you each night, without being suspected or caught. Each night, there will be, hm.. let's say, a game. In each game, the murderer as the perfect chance to kill their victim. Don't try to ask me if I know who the murderer is, even I don't know! But if you want to know how to survive? Trust no one. Lunch is on the table, enjoy. =)
Knox: Finally! I'm starving.
All contestants rush to the kitchen like a flock of sheep.
Lana: This food is great!
Fleur: I know right! Best food in the world!
Everyone can feel the awkwardness in the room, and it sends chills down their spines.
Mia: I know the butler told us to not trust anyone, but I think it would be good if we all sat down and got to know each other, you know, there is only going to be one winner, we might aswell enjoy each others company while it lasts.
Natalie: Good idea! Who's first?
All the contestants sit in a large circle, and tell each other about themselves. Mia tells them how she has the biggest fear of drowning, Knox tells them about his college, and starts to smile and think more positive, Natalie tells them her backstory, and how it made her feel upset and insecure, Justin tells them about his breakup with his recent boyfriend, Wolfia tells them her biggest achievements, Hayley tells them how she once witnessed a life or death situation, Daniel tells them how he won a science competition for his country, Lana tells them how she once saved a kitten from getting stuck in a sewer pipe, Fleur tells them how she went on holiday with her family, and Nick told them how he was nominated for the main part in the 2008 'The Hunger Games'. They all seemed to get along with each other, but little did they know any one of them was about to see the end. But which one was it going to be?
Next Day: 'X' Marks The Spot.
Butler: Breakfast is on the table, meet me in the garden in 15 minutes, dressed and all ready to go!
As everyone hurries to get dressed and eat breakfast, the murderer gets an unknown text, but is very helpful to them.
Unknown Message: Listen to me ????????, this task must be done, TONIGHT! One slip up, and you're out, got it? Now, what I want you to do is simple.. without any of the contestants knowing, you must ---
Butler: Thank you all for being with me this morning, now like I said last night, there will be one challange per day, today, your challenge is easy. It's called, 'X' Marks The Spot!
Nick: Oh so now we're pirates?
Butler: Very funny, now here's what you need to do. You will be split into groups of 5; Knox, Natalie, Fleur, Wolfia and Justin. Then Daniel, Mia, Lana, Nick and Hayley. The winning group will spend the rest of the day/night with luxuries, whilst the losing group spend the rest of the day/night in the forest, vulnerable and unprotected.
*Mia whispering to Lana*: I hate the forest, especially at night.
Butler: Scared Mia?
Mia: No, go ahead, continue.
Butler: You can't be scared in this game, you need to be ready and prepared. Now, how do you play this game you ask? Well, I'll tell you. In this garden, there are two treasure chests, one containing a golden key, and one containing a black key. As you can see, there is only one door, to open this door, the golden key is needed. Those who find it first must open this door, lock it behind them and burn the key so no one else can use it later on. The group who fail to do this first will lose.
Nick: Sounds easy, we got this guys.
Butler: Easy hm? We'll see. Now, I shall hand you a map, Fleur, and here is one for you too, Daniel. Both of you are your groups captains, your job is to make sure your group is in control and open the door once you have the key. As you can see, these maps show you a large trail to the chests, but as this is a game show, it isn't that easy. There will be traps and puzzles along the way, some which could end in serious injuries. Goodluck!
Both groups went off in their paths nervously, Daniel most, he didn't want to fall for a trap. Daniel was slow, so Nick budged in font of him, leading the group at a much faster pace. Daniel stayed quiet at the back, he knew he didn't want to interfere with Nick, seeing that he was bossing them about. Whilst Nick continued to take charge, Fleur's group also, seemed to stumble and struggle. Natalie, being inpatient, decided to take their group through what she called 'a shortcut', which lead her and Justin being caught in a rope trap. There they was, both of them hanging upside down like helpless bats.
Wolfia: We'll come back for you after we've found the key, we promise.
And just like that, the rest of the group ran off, leaving them upside down.
Fleur: If we want to survive, we can't just muck around like that, we need to be careful, one more slip up, and we could get murderer at any time! Got it?
Wolfia and Knox nodded, as they walked off quickly, but carefully, desperate to find the golden key. Hours passed, neither of the groups had found the key, nor the black one, they only had 1 hour left until their curfew, and at this point, it looked like they were all staying out for the night. Until...
Lana: Guys! Oh my, is this the golden key?
Mia: It is! Great job Lana, where was it?
Lana: Under this flowe-
As Lana lifted up the flowerpot, her dinky wrists suddenly chained up to the pot with a tight piece of string, not giving her any space to wriggle out.
Daniel: We can't leave her here, quick, find something sharp or strong to break the string, before the other team find their golden key!
The group search everywhere around the area to find anything, until Nick stops, and thinks. The light bulb flashes above him.
Nick: The key! Look, it's pointed at the end!
Nick takes the key from Lana's pocket, and saws through the string, desperate to free her. The pale string snaps, allowing her wrists to breath, before quickly letting them finally run to their door.
Butler: I see we have our winners, congratulations!
As the winners are announced, the other group are reported back to the Butler, and are given three things each; a sleeping bag, a torch, and 2 bottles of water. At this point, they was scared, not of the murderer, but of how they was going to survive in the forest, at night, with just 2 bottles of water each. With no food, and no warmth, Wofia, Fleur, Justin, Natalie and Knox sit uncomfortably in their sleeping bags, neither of them communicate. Minutes pass, until eventually, they all fall asleep.
