Who ever can create the best story off of this theme will win! Rules are simple! use the theme to create a story! MUST BE APPROPRIATE! You may make it as long as you like or as short as it can be! you may change the topic how ever you want! YOU CAN NOT USE THE EXAMPLE AS YOUR STORY!!!
Theme: You have an 11 year old girl and her father!
Example: There was an 11 year-old girl and her father... The girl asked her father, "What are you going to get me for my 15th Birth Day?" The father replied "I don't know yet, honey.. We'll see". But one day the girl collapsed and was taken to the hospital, later to find out she had a bad heart.. "daddy, have you asked them when I'm going to die yet?" The father replied with a nod. The girl was let out of the hospital when she was 15. she went to her room and found a note on her bed reading, "Hey, you asked me a while ago what I was going to get you for your 15th birth day.. I only replied 'I don't know yet' was because now I know what I'm going to get you.. My gift to you is my heart." A year later the father died and the girl lived a long life..

Good luck and have fun!

ehh so I guess no one else can create a story ;-;

A noise from the hallway awoke Alan, he rubbed his eyes groggily and looked towards the door of his bedroom. He heard it again. The pitter patter of tiny feet. His eyebrows furrowed as he swung his legs over the bed, taking his phone for a flashlight. He slid his feet into his slippers, grabbing his robe from the hook beside the door and ventured into the hallway. The lighting was dim and eerie as the moon light shown from the small window of his 3 roomed apartment.
Ever since the divorce he couldn't afford more, what else was a retired war vet supposed to do? There was no line of work open to him, no career path that suited him. He had tried to go back to school but dropped out after 8 months, especially after Lydia's death.
The glow from the flashlight swept over the dusted wood flooring, nothing. Then the noise came from behind him. pat pat pat pat. He swung around, aiming the beam of light around the hall.
That noise. It reminded him of her. Her excited squeals as he would chase her around the yard of their small suburban home. Lydia had just turned 11 that year. The year of the accident.
A small giggle echoed through the hall. It seemed to come from the kitchen. Alan took a sharp breath in, walking towards the opening of the conjoined kitchen and living room. The light spilled over the empty furniture as he crept around the corner, inspecting the space for signs of the intruder.
Was someone playing a sick joke?
Then the laugh came again, only this time he couldn't pinpoint it. The haunting echos seemed to engulf him, surrounding him as he felt his heartbeat quicken. "Lydia?" He rasped, his lips feeling chapped and numb as he searched the room frantically. "Sweetheart?". As Alan checked behind the couch he saw a white floppy ear poking out from underneath. Cautiously he grabbed for it, pulling the object into full view. It was a stuffed rabbit, 2 button eyes, 1 pink nose, a night gown and slippers.
But.. How? He felt his throat tighten. It wasn't possible. It didn't make sense. He hadn't seen it since-
"Daddy?".
Alan felt his stomach drop as he slowly and shakily turned his head, and there she was, her soft, young face and innocent eyes locked on him. "Why did you leave us Daddy?" She whispered. "What about me and mommy?". "Why did you have to leave? it's all your fault. daddy- it's your fault".
"N-no, I-" Alan swallowed hard, "I went to nam... for you. I did it for you... so you-"
"You left me daddy. You were going to miss my 12th birthday, you were going to miss all of our concerts... you made mommy cry". His lip quivered as she spoke, "If you'd been around... none of this would have happened"-

Tracy repeated the story in her head, looking blankly at her therapist. "So you think your ex-husband saw your deceased daughter, Lydia?" His tone was smooth and calming.
"I- I don't know what he saw..." she trailed off, looking at the window in hopes of some sort of comfort. "All I know is, after he told me about his... his... dream, it was only 2 days before they found him hanging from the basketball hoop at Ripply Elementary. He must of saw something. What else would have drove him to break into Lydia's school and take a jump rope..."
"Tracy, Alan was diagnosed with schizophrenia"
"I know-"
"He wasn't on his medication"
"I know-"
"He was an alcoholic"
"I know", Tracy snapped. "I'll see you next week Hal, same time" and with that she stood up, leaving the room before he could say good-bye to her. Thats when she saw it. At the end of the hall. Floppy. Lydia's stuffed animal from 7 years ago. She had come for him. Now, she would come for her.
