So I have done a suggestion on weather before, a long time ago, and so did my friend. But I wanted to do an update of it.

Commands
-=-}{-=-

/plot weather (ex; rain, snow)
-=-=-=-=-=-}{-=-=-=-=-=-
I think that people who are on the plot would not have to do the command, the owner of the plot would, so when the owner of the plot does it, the people who are on their plot will see the rain/snow.
People who rp would love this to happen! It would bring more effect to the rp or plot, snow wouldn't leave down the snow patches though.-that would just be annoying to clear up.-
Creative has been experiencing bugs recently but hopefully when its not as laggy/buggy this could be so cool to have on the creative server!

~Thanks,
Rose

Honestly this would be nice for winter and other things but wouldn't it create a lot of lag? I like the idea just not quite the outcome it could bring
Creative would probably have a lot of lag with this, but admins and all of them do try to fix the problems with lag, I dont see why we cant try with this

I don't see how this would be useful. You can make it rain or snow on your plot, so it would most likely cause more lag than creative already has, anddddd who would willingly make it rain on their plot. This just doesn't seem very useful of an idea to me.

Well this is an idea that mostly sounds like it would be used for rps and it wouldn't be useful for anything else but we could try it!

AFAIK weather is client side. It would just use a teeny bit of bandwidth to send the weather packet(s) and then hey presto not all that much additional server lag.

People who get FPS issues from weather will of course have a problem. However, a ./weather on/off toggle per player who can't handle it because they're running a 7 year old brick of a computer would solve this.

Plot specific snow/rain is useful to RPs and plots that use it for an aesthetic effect to their build so I don't see why not.

Well throwing in those facts (because I didn't know I mostly assumed), as long as it doesn't cause too much lag and such this isn't really a bad idea
