Jackal slid the curtain of the changing room along to the left, Emerging with a dark presence overshadowing his face. Luna looked at him confused, but carrying on, saying "Nice."
"Nice?" Jackal asked, trembling. "I'm going to tan on one arm! Imagine what shirts or tank tops will look like!" Jackal panicked. He was wearing a black shirt-like top, but one sleeve was almost like a tank top's, the other sleeve reached his elbow, the lining of the sleeves were yellow, and there were two stripes across the torso, both yellow, one line thinner than the other.
Luna smiled.
"This is this world's clothing." Jackal looked at her.
"Your world's clothing seems weird to us, that's why i can't take a human into town wearing human clothes. That's why i said to put your hood up so nobody could tell."
Jackal squinted. "But I was still wearing human clothes."
"Human-world clothes are sometimes worn here, there's a couple shops selling them. But in this world, humans wearing human clothes are seen as.. well.. actual humans from the human world." Luna goes behind Jackal into his changing room and takes his old clothes. Jackal gulps. He hid his underwear in the middle of that pile.
"If a human, who is obviously confused, and wearing human clothes is caught, they are taken to the council where they are obliterated"
"Obliterated?" Jackal looked at her, confused, again. Luna reached up to his head and tilted it back to the normal way.
"Remember what I said about humans and confusion? As long as you have the clothes, you're seen as a citizen of Dregen. Also, Obliterated means your memory is wiped apart from memories in the human world - they knock you out as soon as the spell wipes the last memory of being in this world from your head. They then throw you back to the human world, and you carry on, as if you maybe, I don't know, got drunk? Got in to a fight? Who knows. Some even thought it was a natural phenomenon, and an alien abducted them..." Luna paused and then squinted, laughing slightly. "...Humans can be stupid now and then."
"I see... but what's Dregen?"
"Dregen is the name of this world." Luna whispered as the footsteps of an employee went past the changing rooms. "It means 'Dragon', but 'Dregen' is how they said 'Dragon' in a certain ancient language, I think its called 'Ancient Rewen Language'. Dragons used to be friends with the people in this world, then one day the people all that time ago woke up to find all the dragons dead. We still don't know why. That was only the dawn of the world, so that's why the world is named 'Dregen'."
"I thought we were in Farosh..." Jackal put his head down, mildly confused.
"Each town and city had its own dragon. Like the world itself, each town/city/village named theirselves after the dragon they once had. This town had Farosh - The electric Dragon. He wasn't a main dragon, the main dragons were the kings/queens of the elements. Examples like fire, water, electricity, light, shadow, nature, etcetera. Farosh was one of the mains, until he passed the title down to his next of kin." Luna explained, Jackal closed his eyes and thought about it for a good minute - he then nodded and let out;
