Welcome to the idea of Tower Of Doom! (special thanks to @Ethano)

The idea of Tower Of Doom is a fast paced, drop down elimination game, with different mini-games, within each floor. I envision around 10 player per game, each floor played, a player would be eliminated. The lobby must fill before the game starts. Players would be able to vote for maps they wish. Depending on the floor/game, players could go in a certain order, by their server rank, or by a randomizing option. The last player who wasn't eliminated would win the game!

Below Are Details!


Perks!

  • Hats could be added, for example the more wins you have the more hats/exclusive items you could unlock. Ranked players have exclusive hats.
  • For each level you past/survive you could be given a set amount of coins (ex: 20-50)
  • A perk you could unlock could be Speed
  • For each round the first player to complete the task could be given more of the set amount of coins (EX: normal coins given; 20. First player to complete the task; 40)
  • Server ranked players could have the option to go first in some of the games within the tower.

Achievements!

  • Won (specific amount of times) ex; 5, 10, 50, 100, and so on.
  • (Depending on the games in the tower, there could be certain achievements)

Rank Upgrades!
  • As in Murder there's; Dirt, Cobblestone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Obsidian. I say we use the colors of the rainbow because I'm gay af. For example; the highest would be Red, then it goes Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, lastly, Violet/Purple.

Game Ideas!

  • Musical Chairs (The perk speed would work for this)
Musical chairs is a basic game, players run around while music is playing, the amount of minecarts on, are the amount of players playing, but removing one for an elimination.
  • Bow Spleef/Shovel Spleef
This is more of a quick game, the entire level is snow (since TNT lags). Players are given shovels and attempt break the ground to eliminate a player, first person who falls is eliminated. The game can go out until one person is left standing.
  • Rock, Paper, Scissors (More of a finale game aka 1v1)
Rock, Paper, Scissors is more of a finale game, due to it being a 2 person game. The way I pictured it being was either doing a /vote to it for it, or using item frames.
  • Trivia
Trivia is self-explanatory. Players would receive 3 questions, with 4 multiple choice answers. They will be placed in your hot bar, you right click to choose an answer. The player with the least amount of correct answers and slowness is eliminated.
  • Flick The Lever (Using Redstone) (The perk speed would work for this)
Flick the lever is a fast paced game, where you attempt to find a lever that'll lead you to the next round. I'm imagining a room/a chunky mine with levers placed around, they are given up to 30-60s depending on the amount of players.


  • Parkour
This game is also self explanatory. Player's goal is to finish the parkour with the least amount of falls and time. The player that doesn't finish or places last is eliminated. if many players are left, the player that fell the most would he eliminated out of the remainders.
  • Fishing!
Imagining a map, the amount of slots are the maximum amount of players needed in the game, the objective is to catch sheeps by using a fishing rod and putting them into your hole.

Map Layouts!

  • The ideas for the map is to be a tower, doesn't particularly have an exact size, because each floor's game could be different heights (ex: spleef could be 7 blocks high, Flick the lever could be 5). I envision 10 floors, 1st floor, waiting lobby, then the remaining 9 the games.
  • For different maps, the actual tower could be a certain theme, such as; medieval, fantasy, etc.

This sounds very fun and I think putting multiple minigames into one tower isn't that hard. And as you said, for the maps, you can change the enviorment and the tower itself to match the good theme.

Since you've built it, it seems pretty easy with redstone and such that this can possibly implemented. However, I do have some questions about the game being implemented..

>> How many minigames would be built into the tower?
>> What types of maps can you at least think of for the map?
>> Will there be a status and a rank system? (Something like murder, karma, cobblestone, gold, etc.)
>> Who'd be the host? Will it be a player or a bot? If player, how would the player be picked?

In conclusion though, I'd give it a +1 since it's more of a detailed suggestion, has creativity, is created by an actual player (you most likely created the game, so it'd be in the 'unique' category, which is what we want) and it's very fun to play c;

I didn't notice you edited your post, allow me to answer.

  1. "How many mini games are in the tower?" I imagine there being 10 levels (this includes the lobby.
  2. "What maps can I think of?" Just like Ditto how people build the outside then the arenas are added in, I'm not completely sure due to me not being a builder. Themes I've thought of are; fantasy (using pastel colors), Hell (using dark colors including red, and black).
  3. "Any ranks/karma systems?" This question has been answered in my original post, with the colors of the rainbow, or the original murder ranks could work.
  4. There wouldn't be a host, the object of each game/how to place that level will appear on your screen.
I also have a prototype on my creative plot, though it isn't decorated and this game would go much quicker because no one would have to explain.

Firstly, Could you just define what ` floors ` actually mean for me? I am not getting what you mean. Does it mean rounds?

Secondly,

  • A Round of voting to eliminate another fellow player.
  • A Luck game where you choose a door, it'll lead you to the next level or elimination.

When will you start getting eliminated? Are there points for these games at all? The Spleef, what maps are there? How many rounds are there? Finally, do you mind explaining a little more about the achievements? What more achievements could the admins add? Do you get any rewards for these achievements? Do you get any reward when you have received a new rank? ( Orange, yellow etc etc. ).

Allow me to explain, I'll also be editing my original to post when I get home.

What I mean by "floors", imagine a tower or hotel form. A floor is the levels. Yes each floor is a different round, but I'm imagining a drop down tower.

I'll be adding all the details and information on each game type, as I said when I get home.

Each achievement given, players will be given a certain amount of coins depending on how hard the achievement is, for example, 5 wins would maybe get you 100 coins, then 10 wins get you 200 or higher. For the rainbow coloring ranks, they wouldn't give you any rewards, as of they are ranks.
