I understand there are A LOT (and i mean A LOT) of murder guides out there, but... here's one more for you to read, i guess. 
Bystander (With no gun)
Description: This is the most common role in a game.

Description: This is the most common role in a game.
- Quickly collect emeralds. When you collect 5 emeralds(or less, if you purchased an upgrade) you would get a gun, which allows you to team with other gunners(Bystanders with a gun)
- Stick with a small group. If you do stick in a small group(but i dont see how, if you keep running away from other bystanders like that...), chances are that 80% of the time you would not die.
- Pursue the gunner. Chances are he would only back away and not shoot you UNLESS you sprint (as the murder, that is) and deducing that you are "safe". NOTE: Don't chase the gunner everywhere he goes. Sooner or later he would shoot you.
- Tell the truth. Say that you are a bystander when you are a bystander. This would allow you, when you are the murder, to lure the other players to think that you (who keeps saying "I am innocent, please don't shoot me!") are a bystander. This would also tell everyone that you are always telling the truth and will not shoot you.
- Check your surroundings. This 2-10 second action could save you and some other people's lives by saying who has died and who is the murder. A common mistake is that you don't say who the murder is, and you in turn kill everyone.

- Do not RDM(Random Death Match). You might think that RDMing might kill the murder MUCH faster, but don't randomly kill people. This only helps the murder by telling who has a gun.
- Dare to do it. Not with any effect from tip 1, just shoot the bystander if he pursues you while sprinting. If you shoot the wrong person, then apologize to the person in the chat. It would make his/her day a better day.
- Emeralds. Collect emeralds although you have a gun. This in turn would allow you to get a upgraded gun with faster reload, so that if the murder misses his knife and yon miss your shoot, you get to kill him much quicker. (Fun Fact: Only 3% of players manage to get Gun 2.0 in one game)

- Stay in the shadows. Hide in some dark ally way and kill players one by one.
- Throw your knife. Throwing your knife not only kills someone from range, it also confuses who actually killed the person who died (unless you dance from where you have thrown your knife, then that would be bad).
- Disguise undisguise. In a recent bug, the chest piece has not been loaded in when the murder changes his identity, but if you say something like: "I see footprints." and change identity, then you say something like: "Its (Your previous identity) because he sees footprints", people would think that everyone except your previous identity is "safe" (Unless someone did tip 5 from bystander)
- Double trouble. Do not kill any gunner when you are in the middle of 2 or more of gunners(That would be idiotic to kill a gunner in that position)
- Frenzy. If you are lucky enough to kill the gunner right at the start, go have a kill frenzy. Do not let players get a gun and kill you.
