The Tidal Awakening happens every 2000 years and is unlike anyone has seen before. You may be confused, What is the Tidal awakening? Well, the Tidal Awakening is when the Sea rises over all the land, destroying everything in it's path. It could happen at any moment and there is no way to track when or where it will hit first. Countless efforts have been made for buildings and under ground shelters to be made proof of the Tide and yet none have succeeded. Either way the structure collapses, leaks or simply is drowned. So, all you can be is prepared. Houses and buildings are stored with life jackets, torches, whistle, food, drink and whatever you would need to survive and yet, it still seems to not be enough.
Some people view the Tidal Awakening as a fresh start, a way to encounter new materials, a start of different buildings and view point. Though others see it as a slaughtering of all man and animal kind have created.

Personality: Re is very strange in the matter of her personality. She comes of as cold and harsh, not letting herself get emotional close to anyone. Though this is not reality as honestly once you get close to her Re is just a big cuddly teddy bear who cares and will save everyone even though it may not look like it. Re is also a very likeable person once you get to know her~
Backstory: Re was sent to an orphanage at the age of 5 and went through 7 different foster homes before she ended up at the one she is now. Enizah and Ray Ames were a young married couple, wanting to foster as they wanted children around. Re was 14 when they came to the orphanage she was in and decided to foster her. After a year of fostering Re, Eni and Ray decided, even though she went through a rough stage when she first came to live with them, that they wanted to adopt Re and so they announced to her through a Re's 15th birthday party that they were going to adopt her. They had come so close together as a family and Re was happy to accept the adoption and though Re may not act like it sometimes she loves Eni and Ray to Bits. Re then met Ita online when she was 15, they were best friends then only 6 months after then became Girlfriends. Ita lived far away from where Re lived and was overjoyed when she found out she was moving close.
Appearance: Re has short (pixie cut short but longer if ya know what I mean) curly brown hair and her eyes are a Emerald green. She often wears Ripped jeans, Some sort of top, a Denim jacket ( Which has a rainbow and pan flag on it) and Doc Martin boots (Because she is so snazzy). She has oversised round metal glasses and freckles framing her nose and below her eyes. Re also has her ear lobes pierced (She normally wears a moon on her right and a safety pi on her left) and her right ears cartridge pierced (just a normal silver stud).

Shawn, his future boyfriend (and my other OC), moved in when Alex was 11. Alex was friends with bullies and popular kids and Shawn was a nerd. Alex's friends would always pick on Shawn but one day Alex stood up to them and got in a fight, which caused Alex to be kicked out of school. Because of Alex's exclusion, his dad hit him around the side of the head with a glass bottle and it knocked him out. Alex was rushed into hospital and came out of the hospital a few days later. His parents split up and he lived with his mum and his twin sisters, while his dad moved away. His brother was in university at the time and spent his time with his dad during the holidays. He came out as Bisexual to his mum when he started dating Shawn (when he was 14).

On one side she's happy and careless, on the other side sophisticated and mature. She is very protective of the ones she loves and would rather herself be hurt over them. She would risk anything for someone she loves.
Backstory: When she was only three years old her family's house burnt down and in the attempt to save Ita and her 2 brothers her mother died from smoke inhalation. This meant her family struggled to get back on their feet as her mother's job paid significantly more than her father's. This left them with no house, little money, and a loss to mourn over. They spent a few years with their grandparents on their father's side. Her life was mostly good but when she turned into that "annoying little sister" to her two older brothers, it got a bit rough. They always pushed her around and acted like they were the boss of her. They did this because their father was working two jobs and almost never home. When she finally started school life started getting better for her. With all the friends she made she almost never had to put up with her brothers. She was nearly never found at her house, but her friend's. This all changed when her father made their family move for a better career. She started at a new school just this year and it's been rough but we'll see how it goes. She hopes she's able to meet her online girlfriend where she's moving to.

Between the kids, they raised each other as brothers and sisters- they considered one another family. But when she returned to the treehouse, it was collapsed. Her family was dead. For the next few years, Shae lived at the shoreline and explored the ocean's wonders. She was gladly accepted at a local store to live with their family. This family consisted of only a wife and a husband. To show their dedication to their "daughter", Shae, they built a house on the same hill as the treehouse. She can’t make very good eye-contact, and isn’t the one to start up conversations. But however, if she’s with really good friends, she’s the loudest of them all. Never a morning person, and forever a night owl. She is a terrible liar, and if she does lie, it’s for a good reason. She has a lot of secrets, and insecurities. She’s the one to go off and help others, but never help herself. She has a huge imagination, it’s a shame she never makes it known. Remi isn’t very clumsy, but it’s difficult for her to focus a lot. She doesn’t have a lot of confidence in herself, and she really believes she has no purpose. If annoyed or offended, she will lash out, but only for a few seconds, then she’ll start to cry and apologize.
