"Perhaps they aren't ready." My stomach growls as I sit in the driveway next to my good friend, Faen.
"If they aren't that's too bad. I'm starving and you know how I get when I'm hungry." Faen opened the door of the car and stepped out, the gravel from the driveway crunching under his feet as he stretched his legs and looked up towards the house once more.
"Come on Amber, Let's head up and see what's keeping them so long." He snickered and quitely added "Maybe they're just making out and lost track of time."
I open my door and step out as well, closing it loudly behind me so that if they were to be doing anything, they'd know we were coming up.
The house Sean and Liza live in is a small one story with enough bedrooms covering the expanse of the hill it sits on to make up for the fact that it lacked both an attic and a basement. We often came to hang out here every Saturday but tonight our plans were different. The two of them had started dating recently so all of us had decided to give them a night out together, planned by me and Faen.
Interrupting my thoughts, a loud crash echoed from inside of the house as we reached the door. Me and Faen exchanged looks and walked in, not sure what to expect.
