Because I disappeared for a while, my original 'They're Among Us' (link in signature) was thread locked. Which in all honesty I'm slightly glad this happened. I had no idea where I was going with the story nor did I know how I was going to continue/finish it. So I have decided to use this opportunity to reboot the story. This time, they'll be new characters, new storyline, new everything. The only thing staying the same is the name and the zombies. So, because of this, I'll be needing characters! Below is the character format along with my characters.

Personality:
Gerald is a strong figurehead who after losing both his wife and their unborn child, can still rally himself against the zombies and protect the rest of his family. He is a loud speaker who can make quick decisions and is willing to make risks.
Role: Mayor/leader
Backstory: Before the apocalypse, Gerald was an entrepreneur who had his own small business. He was married to Juliet Baxter, and they had three children together. When Juliet was five months pregnant, the outbreak of the apocalypse drove the family to Rosewood, the half-destroyed town which was converted into a zombie-proof settlement. Gerald managed to restore the town, and now there is a population of over a hundred. But when Juliet went into labour, she and the child died. Now Gerald is a widower with three children and also the mayor of Rosewood.
Appearance: Flecks of grey streak Gerald's mousy brown hair. His skin is tanned from working outside for most of his life. He has an athletic build and is tall, a trait of all the Beauregards.
Extra: While he seems like the perfect father figure, there are rumours that he has a drinking problem.

Personality: Is the awkward one in a conversation, meaning she doesn't know what to say back most of the time. Really funny and kind once you get to know her. She is quiet when she is consentrating/alone. Once in the zone to battle, she is skilled and brave to go into the field. She loves to train and upgrade her skills for new battles with a component. Aggresive when mad, don't mess with her bad side.

Backstory(this can be as long as you like, idm): Her family is a history of fighters, she wants to live up her dreams and become 'one with the wind' as her dad told her. She has a sister named Sarina, obviously Sydney hated her. Haven't spoken to Sarina or the parents for years, not a close connection. She keeps/kept travelling.

He often prefers to be alone. He is a good student and very intelligent. He doesn't feel that he'd like anyone to know his backstory and he often tries to hide everything in his life from everyone.

Backstory: Knox grew up with his mother and his older brother. He was often the quiet one. His brother taught him to use this trait as an advantage; to surprise people with his ability for other tasks. His brother always looked after him for his mother. After Knox's mother had died, his brother, who is 2 years older than Knox, lived with Knox until when this story takes place.
Appearance: Knox has dark brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He is very lean and is 5'9. He keeps his hair short (shorter on sides than on top, sort of a crew cut but sort of not). He is a little weak and is mostly horrible at sports, but he is very fast.
Extra: I'm not very good with making characters, so if you change anything that's fine. But I ask that it would be a minor change because I'd like the basis of this character. (Trout27Rules is probably going to be older brother)

Personality: Teddie is open-minded about everything, they will listen to someone for hours on end if it makes the person feel any better. They believe no one should get left behind, and that everyone matters, even if they did something wrong. Though they are very insecure about themselves, they want everyone to love who they are.

Backstory(this can be as long as you like, idm): Teddie was born in a strict family, making sure they knew Teddie made themselves look female. But after 10 years of it, they finally let out their feelings, which got them kicked out. So instead for the next 6 years, they lived at their Grandmother's, who didn't care about their gender at all.(This is just a summary.)
Appearance(can put photos or just a description): Teddie is very short(5'1), and quite chubby. They have short brown hair with the tips dyed electric blue. They have lime-green eyes, and they usually wear a gray hoodie exposing a tye-dye shirt underneath. They wear ripped up black jeans and red converse. Their body type is quite curvy.
Extra: Teddie is left-handed, and is an expert at drawing things in a Disney style.

Personality: Very careful, quiet actions but loud when relaxing and talking to people. Somehow through all that's going on around her, she is very chill and out-going. River can almost get along with anyone as long as they don't slip up a conversation that might make her hesitate about her past or else it will effect her fighting style and will switch fight techniques if necessary. Although River is lay-back she is smarter then she lets on but let's other do the talking unless there is something that needs to be changed. And very daring when someone challenges her. River can read emotions, actions and facial expressions really know and often/always know whats going on, if someone is hiding a secret, she'll always find out. For her it's almost like reading a 50 minute chapter in 5 minutes.
Role(example: guard, newcomer, mayor, etc): Tracker/Scoutt (Sometimes she's not even at camp most of the time because she's always "Scoutting" the place out.)
Backstory(this can be as long as you like, idm): River never grew up in a family. Instead she had a life of an orphan but her skills and abilities where way above an average 6 year old. At the age of 7 the government saw what River can do so they made a flash clone of her and replaced the real one with the fake one and took her away. Her first mission was at the age of 15 and so on until she was (whatever age you want so you can make it fit with the storyline) when the chaos happened of the zombies and all that. One year later, the previous Mayor and a whole camp where overwhelmed by zombies because someone was driven my jealous and opened the gates. That person and River where the only ones alive. From that day on, River has been spending her time finding the person that destroyed the camp.

A brown leather short-sleeved hoodie jacket over a white shirt and twin katana cross behind her back. Short black shorts with a black belt hanging over it, on the side a neon purple scarf hangs off the belt (sometimes wears it if it's too cold or if she's out scouting or tracking.) Knee high black (slight heel) boots with black socks. Eyes seem to fade from dark purple to light blue back to dark blue, not officially taking one colour. Always wears black gloves (fingers stick out the finger holes) she can flip out her dagger if she looses her twin katanas. (Hidden dagger in boot and belt.) 5"5, has a build of a runner and is really good at running.
Extra: Is globophobic so she will scream (and it's rare for her to scream) if it pops in the room with her in it. Love cookies and can almost be bribed to do anything with a cookie.

Fluer had a sister back then named Erin, who ran away from home and was found dead 2 months later. It was only then Fluer made a call. Deciding it was time she fought back. She ended up winning a court case against her adoptive parents and ended back in an adoption centre at age 13. Fluer has anxiety, and the sounds of nature and the ocean calm her. When she turned 18 she chose to leave the adoption centre and set out on her own. She has since, wrote books that are beginning to become famous world wide. Since she has the money now, she has decided to move here. Away from her country, full of horrific memories and so on.
