The Runaways. The Runaways are children, Who are 'Different'. By this, They are special. They have abilities nobody else has [This means if someone has chosen Ice, Nobody else can have the power Ice]. They were taken to the scientists by Parents, Kidnapped by Scientists or Arrested from thestreets. Some of them managed to escape. Thestory is about theirjourney to a safe place, How they have to sticktogether and fend from the scientists owncreations, 'The wind catchers'. These can hunt down the 'Different' byliterally asking the winds.
They control the winds-Funnily enough. They make the 'Different 's'journey quite difficult, as they are trying tofind them. Creatingstorms, Hurricanes, Floods, Any natural disaster you can thinkoff , They can do it.

Outfit; She wears a beige top with Camo-Ripped jeans. She has huge walking boots and Braclets around her hand. If she takes of her boots you’ll see a small tattoo of a Gemstone on her ankle, with an anklet around it.

Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it; She always carries a dainty , blue Japanese fan around with her, However if you open the fabric part, the handle turns into blades and the fabric meet in the middle. It’s pretty much a throwing star.
Backstory; Her mother worked with the Scientists , until they stole Hazel from her and experimented on her. This is how Hazel got the powers she has.

Personality; More of a quiet type, listening more than talking. However, when people ask him questions/requests, he'll try his best not to disapppoint them.
Appearance{Detailed please}; 6"3' tall, dark black hair, dark red eyes, pale skin, (not a vampire), usually wears long sleeved clothing to cover his hands, which are actually metal (see profile pic), and always wears goggles on his forehead.
Outfit; Wears a well fitting but fairly old all black suit (Jacket, Waistcoast, Shirt etc). He tries to look spiffy, but also doesn't like spending too much time on his image. As he uses his powers however, his suit can display different colours.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); 'Light manipulation' (In other words, he can do stuff with light to confuse people and make illusions or whatever, but most of the time just makes lil rainbows (Fires them or whatever ya got planned)

Personality; Carlo has several different moods of sorts. He is mostly an outgoing, confident, kind and caring person.
Although if he is really annoyed at someone then he'll flip turn upside down and let loose with the insults picking out all there faults instantaneously forcing them to shut the front door and stay quiet.
Appearance{Detailed please}; Carlo has shortish light brown hair which is neatly combed in a type of fringe. He has a small nose which only just manages yo support his sunglass from falling off his face. He has sea green eyes which are always kept brhind sungalss apart from a night. His skin colour is kinda Italian, you know Oliveish? He stands at about 5"10.
Outfit; He wears a gray and a tad bit black jumper over a simple white t-shirt. He wears simple grey skinny jeans. He wears basic grey adidas trainers to go with everything else.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); When he touches someone he instantly learns there power and can use it to its maximum for 5 mins after contact. When he uses someones power it uses they own energy instead of using Carlo's. Carlo does also uave a power of his own which he doesnt kniw about called adaptation, this allows him yo adapt powers he uses so that he can put his own spin on it. For example is someone Had nature powers and could only grow flowers then Carlo could weaponise this power by growing vines instead and wraping them around people or making walls.
Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it; Carlo duel weilds two short khopeshs (eyptian curved blades) which are enchanted to allow Carlo to use his power through them. For example if he copied a fire power he could weild fire on his blades.

Appearance{Detailed please}; Coloured ( Not black, Nor white, In the middle ). She stands 5'8, Her eyes are sparkling blue , and always have a glint of happiness. Her short, Choppy black hair only reaches her shoulders, It has blue highlights. She has some freckles dotted around her nose and a nose piercing (It's not a ring, Just a stud). She wears contacts, As she doesn't like wearing her glasses. She has a mini solar system tattoo on her wrist. She has quite a few scars, One 5cm long on her left cheek.
Outfit; She has denim blue dungarees( Long jean type- Not shorts ), With a plain red t-shirt underneath. She wears fishtail netting tights underneath the dungarees, Which you can see through the rips in the dungarees. She wears dirty farm shoes (Boot type things) with long socks, tucked underneath her dungarees. She wears a necklace , which is half a heart. It says the words 'Fam' on her necklace. On the other half, Which is in possession of her Mother, has the letters 'ily ' on it, When they connect they make the word 'Family' .

Personality; She's quiet and mysterious. She rarely speaks up, and she nearly always has a emotionless look to her, and it's hard to get her to open up to you. Despite this, she does have emotions and she does care about others. She'd always pick to put herself in harms way to protect someone else, whether she knows them or not. She'd rather pile up her troubles on the inside then make others worry about her, and usually feels guilt over something that wasn't her fault. Despite having an aloof and quiet personality, she does like to be around people and to have friends, though she tries to hide this fact, thinking that if she shows her true self to others they'll end up finding her weak spot and betraying and/or turning on her. She's paranoid about small things, and doesn't get scared easily. She is tender-hearted on the inside, but if someone tries to hurt her or just gets on her nerves, she'll teach them why they shouldn't do that{She'll only do this when it's a bad person, but to people who seem to be nice, she'll only warn them}.

Tail {IMPORTANT}: She has a silver tail, in around the middle it splits into 3 tails, though the other 2 tails are thinner than the middle tail. The middle tail has 8-pointed stars on it, the closer to the tip the bigger the star. Outfit; She has a oversized sunset-colored hoodie with a crescent moon and stars on it, the hood stays down most of the time. she wears a black skirt under that, which doesn't show since the sunset hoodie covers it. She then wears a purple-pink colored sock on one foot, with a pink bow on it, and the other foot has a peach sock with the upper part of it black and a stocking on the same leg.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); The stars on her tail are star shards, basically like daggers. They return to the tail after they're thrown. When someone is cut by a star shard Cora's hair will float and her eyes will stare into the victims, she calls this 'Poison Eye'. Basically, when she locks eyes with the victim, the victim is unable to move until Cora blinks. While doing this, a creepy version of Cora can be seen as an illusion to the victim, and the Cora is seen to be glitching{moving around the same spot with glitches around / apart of her in a creepy way}, when the illusion breaks, the person is normally stunned by fear for 5-10 seconds. The downside is Cora will have to stare into their eyes the entire time, so she can't move anything but her tail in this time, and can be vulnerable by others. This power also doesn't work very well against multiple victims, she can only lock eyes with one victim at a time, and she'll use her tail to keep the others back by swinging shards at them / injuring them till she's finished. I may have gotten too creative with this, if you think it's to OP I can change it, sorry. I wanted to add details then I think I got a little carried away.
Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it; The shards on her tail are her weapons, they're sharp, and with her good aim she can use them as if they were arrows and her tail was the bow.
Backstory; She never knew her father, and by now he's dead. Her mother was with her for 7 years of her life, protecting her and hiding her from the world. They lived on the streets in a hidden alleyway where they'd set up a bed out of whatever they could find that others threw out. Her mother used whatever money she could get them to buy Cora things such as candy and outfits so that she could live a normal life. Despite being poor, they were happy being together until Cora got curious. She left the alleyway at the age of 8 to explore, and she met a man that worked at a flower shop. She kept her tail hidden under a small black cloth that worked as a cloak, and she became friends with the man. She was helping him with his flowers early in the morning while her mother was asleep, and she tripped, revealing her tail. The man that was once sweet turned on her, and the people nearby did to. When her mother woke up and found her gone, she ran over and protected Cora, but the people didn't understand. All they could see was that the child was different, and to others, that meant she was a monster, and deserved death. They killed her mother, calling her a "Witch" for giving birth to a "Monster" and sent Cora here, in hopes that they'd get rid of her. Due to this betrayal, she shut herself off from others because of the fear of betrayal.

P.S.
Just because her personality is emotionless on the outside, and she's quiet, doesn't mean she acts rude to others. When she talks, she is normally friendly, and she wouldn't hurt people without a reason, for example she'd hurt a scientist if they're trying to hurt her / experiment with her, but she wouldn't hurt a fellow different, she'd protect a fellow different.

BUT...

She has an angered side that can get triggered easily, so if you get on her bad side, she definitely will hurt you. Though it wouldn't be on purpose unless it's a person she knows is bad, then it'd definitely be on purpose.

Full name: Arabella DeLaney
NickName: Ara
Age: 16
Personality: She's a pretty serene person, mostly having control of her emotions. She's usually upbeat and lively for the people around her. She's more toned down and emotional in private, but doesn't show these feelings often unless someone gets to know her better. Naive wouldn't be a word to describe her, but she's very compassionate and drawn to making a difference for others. She's not one dimensional though, and she knows when enough is enough, and knows when to draw the line. She can get angry when she is pushed too far, but will try to hide it (Note: she doesn't hide it well).
Appearance {Detailed please}: She has medium length, wavy, pink hair. Pieces of her hair is braided behind her head. Her body and face is petite and delicate, standing at 5`3; her cheeks usually take a rosy color. Her eyes are a bright sea green, and doe shaped, and her lips are upturned most of the time. Reference here.
Outfit: She wears a collared mint green blouse tucked into a maroon skater skirt. On top of that, she has a dark blue sweater/cardigan which is a bit oversized, but fits her well. She also has blue sneakers which match her sweater.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ): She has the power of warmth/heat. That power gives her the ability to heat up things with her hands. She's learned to control it, but it's not much use with combat.
Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it: Her weapon is not really a weapon, but she has a small staff about the length of a guitar, which turns into a necklace, but usually rests on a belt on her waist. Vines, leaves, and flowers swirl around the staff. It helps her control her powers, and if she tries hard enough, can produce a flame from the staff.
Backstory: She had a good family until she was taken and experimented on. Now, she just wants to meet her original parents again and see them at least once.
Culture/Race: Irish, but she doesn't have an accent anymore because of the experimentation and isolation.

Personality; Now Fantasma is a total sweetheart, so sweet it probably hurts, but she really doesn't socialize. She'd rather hide in the shadows and not be noticed. She's frightened easily and often clings to a person that she knows very well. She's not a leader, but she will take that role if no one else will. She's a mute, so that means no matter what, she will not talk. She is always gentle, it's rare if you even see her angry at someone. She's seen as a defensive person, and a watcher.
Appearance{Detailed please}; She stands at about 5"2, and has a more pear shaped body. She has soft pale skin, and cheeks that never seen to stop blushing. Her eyes are a taffy-pink, and are almond shaped. She has a rounder shaped face, with squishy cheeks. She has a little button nose and small lips. She does not wear eye makeup, but she wears lip gloss. Her hair is pastel pink, and wavy. It goes down to her lower back, and her bangs almost cover her eyes.
Outfit; She wears a sweater dress which goes to her knees. It has clouds on it, and has the colors of a sunset slowly fading into one another. She also wears white uggs, which never seem to get dirty. Strange.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); She has the simple powers of a ghost. She can turn invisible, but only for a short period of time. She can fade through walls, but it takes most of her energy. Plus she has telekinesis, which also takes a bit of her energy.

Backstory; Fantasma was born to a family who loved her, accept for her sister, who was jealous of her powers. Her sister often tried getting her in trouble, but it always seemed to fail. She wasn't a popular kid in school, but she was liked by many. She never spoke in her life, so she was taught sign language, and given a notepad just in case. One day, her sister started to bully her, and she went invisible in front of everyone. Since then, some people only know her as 'The Fantom'. She was sent here when she turned visible in a dark alley, in which she was knocked out, and brought here.

Personality;
Michael is bubbly, loud and sweet. He is often confused with “obnoxious” due to his loud, extroverted behavior. Really, Michael is a sweetheart who will do anything to protect those in need. He deeply believes in forgiveness and love.
He also has another side, much darker than his more prominent one. This side of him is sad, lonely and angry. This side bursts out when people cross his borders- and sometimes his close friends borders.

Appearance{Detailed please};
Michael has a very feminine body type, compared to most males. He’s not very broad. He’s quite thin, and he’s referred to be quite tall, reaching 6’4. He’s got sun kissed skin, and has freckles sprinkled lightly from cheek to cheek, barely visible. He has very distinct eyes- one being blue and the other being gray. A visible difference between them. He has a black line on his blue iris. ( eye )

Outfit;
He wears white t shirts and a camouflage jacket a lot. He also has cropped, ripped, denim pants to go with it. He always wears the same white vans which are serverly stained at this point.

Power ( Scientists don’t have powers );
Atmokinesis - Basically he can control and manipulate the weather to his ever commands. This includes weather based “natural disasters”, except in his case they’re not “natrual”.

Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it;
He has a crescent shaped crossbow, painted as the moon. Each arrow is star tipped and deadly poisonous to its target. Unless they’re immune to Botulinum toxin.

Backstory;
Michaels family migrated from Bordeaux, in France, to Cork, Ireland, when Michaels mother was pregnant on his older brother “Mark”. His mothers grandparents were very disapproving of his parents relationship due to being very hateful towards the Norwegian culture, the same for his fathers parents, who were equally distasteful towards the love between the two.
This caused a lack of knowledge of his family and a deep confusion and unknowing to family history. It also caused some racial issues for Michael, as parents constantly used hurtful slang about each other’s parents beliefs. Their love managed to keep the relationship going, but the words caused unknown and unintentional damage to their children.
This caused Michael to be bullied and become depressed. He found himself very lonely in school and always felt like he would one day seek revenge on all those who hurt him and what little friends he had at that time. Being weak and defenseless at the time, he let these feelings only grow inside, hidden away.
Coming out as gay was a huge progressive move that caused a burst of people constantly asking him questions. Michael became more confident and gained many friends. Unfortunately he was caught in a toxic group, which convinced him to do bad things without knowing.
Eventually they all left him in the dumps when he was 14, causing emotional confusion and damage. This caused an outbreak which lead him to discovering he had Atmokinesis. This caused him to grow scared of himself. Eventually running away and leaving him emotionally scarred. He learnt how to hide these horrific thoughts and live alone, trying his best to remain what he had become when he first came out.
He was led here on accident when running away from the police, for theft, still unsure of his situation.

Michael is Irish, but his family roots are French and Norwegian. He would prefer being hlabeled as just Irish, as the family had troubles with their French/Norwegian roots.

Full name; Britt Holter

Personality; Brit is very dark and secretive. Sarcasitc, pessimistic, and never smiles. But when he does, oh gosh. His smile and laugh light up the entire world. But everyone stays in the dark because he never does either. He doesnt like crowds and he is very intelligent but doesnt speak his thoughts or ideas normally. He jokes about death and sometimes feels the urge to do something bad, but always resists it. He is very peotective of his loved ones, and when around them, completely changes. It is hard for him to start caring about soneone, but once he does he wont stop and will do anything for them.
Appearance{Detailed please}; Brit has chocolate brown messy hair and chocolate colored, big round eyes, which he almost has bags under. He has freckles on the tip of his small nose. He is 6’3 and slim.
Outfit; He ALWAYS wears black. Black ripped jeans, black t shirts, black sweaters, black shoes, black beanies, black caps, black shorts, black suits, everything is black. His most nornal outfit consists on black skinny ripped jeans, and a short sleeved black and white striped shirt, a black beanie, and some black sneakers.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); His power is two things. One, he can turn invisible at will- he normally does this to regian energy when he is tired. The other one is the ability to warp the mind. He can make others see whatever he wants them to see: but heres the catch: only that person can see it. He can make Donald trump see gorillas, while Mike Pence sees the gorillas as big demons. He can make Ariana Grande see daggers being thrown right at her face, and Selena Gomez see Brit as someone friendly rather than a foe (he can make her see him as Demi Lovato if he is her enemy. )
Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it; He has a bracelet on his right wrist that is a sinple black string with a moon - when the moon is twisted the roght way, it turns into a dagger. Used in case of an emergency.
Backstory; Brit grew up on a farm with his prents and an older sister - Emilie Faith. He struggled with clinical depression growing up but kept it inside. He secretly loved school but hated every single person in it. He always got straight A’s without trying. He didnt have friends growing up- though that was his choice. “The less people you care about the less people you hurt and break” has always been his motto. He was known as the scary, rebel kid at school, but he never did anything to earn that title- he just sat in the back, never talked to anyone, and alwyas had headphones in. Rumors were always spreading about him (he killed someone for drugs, he slapped the prinical, he carries a knife in his sock)

Backstory; Jasper grew up with an abusive mother who did some quite illegal things and it wasn’t long until the government found out and took him and put him into the custody of his aunt in Regina sk. It was then during high school he found out he wasn’t normal and things got out of hand and brought to the facility to where he would soon escape.

Personality; Smart, sarcastic, hates most people. She never really likes to talk to people, and when she does she is usually rude, although she doesn't realize it. She has a nice side, but that's if she's had a lot of coffee and / or something amazing happened. She's usually loyal unless someone is blackmailing her, and she's strong. Appearance{Detailed please}; She has golden tan skin, stands at around 5'9, her hair is long, almost down to her waist. Her hair is dark brown but with the bottom half being a light blue. She's slim, has an hourglass shaped figure and her eyes are green with white spots in them.
Outfit; Black tank top with a black cropped leather jacket, black leggings, and black boots that go up to her knees, on her back she has her arrow quiver.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); Water. She can control basically any liquids, including in the human body but she doesn't do this often, and she can also freeze it, but that takes up some of her energy. Due to water being her power, she can breathe underwater.
Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it; Bow and arrow. Her bow is a straight hunting bow, and the arrows are made of a metal. Going from this, she always has it with her or near her.
Backstory; She was abandoned in a home when she was little, until a nice family took her in. She looked very different from all of them, so she often got bullied for this. She left her home mainly due to the fact she got into fights and her adoptive parents always got mad at her for it. She has never met her real parents and she hopes she never will.

Personality;
Hannah is often described as rude, snarky, spunky, sarcastic, and antisocial. She's rude to anyone she meets, regardless of who they are. She sees no human as higher or lower than one another, she treats everyone the same. She's also quite sarcastic, sometimes to the extent where it would begin to annoy people.

Appearance{Detailed please};
She has short, uneven jet black hair that go surprisingly well with her light freckles which are scattered on her nose. She's abnormally thin, as she's anorexic. Even so, she's tough, physically and mentally. She's pale with a pink undertone. She also has big, light blue eyes that can either warm your heart or threaten you into fear. (Makeup) She has jet black lipstick that goes well with the mascara and highlighter she has. She doesn't wear foundation/concealer as she prefers to show her freckles.

Outfit;
She wears a black choker with silver spikes on it. She has wears a black tube top with silver lightning bolts on the side that go well with her black jeans with slits at the knees. With it, she wears black combat boots which have silver spikes on the sides.
Power ( Scientists don’t have powers ); Telekinesis - She uses her mental ability to move objects, regardless of their size and weight, around no matter the distance between her and the object(s).
Do you have a weapon? If so, describe it; She often keeps a large, sharp knife that is exceeds at cutting flesh. Often, she uses her telekinesis power on the knife to move it around in the air, piercing the flesh of her enemy in desired locations without risking herself getting hit or worse, as she would have to move closely to the desired target to stab them.
Backstory;
She was raised in a Christian household, taught not to wear "skull clothing" and to "only like the opposite gender". But Hannah thought differently. She thought that people should be able to express themselves. So, one day she came out to her parents and sister as a bisexual (she couldn't pull herself to saying that she was panromantic as well). Unpleasant is quite an understatement to summarize their reaction. Her mother raised her hand high up into the air and brought it hard against her face, making her stumble. She could never forget that moment, as her nails left a scar on her cheek. She was disowned and was going to be kicked out of her home, until her father suggested her being taken to scientists who can hopefully fix her, as if her being bisexual is something that will change.
