Part One: The Crash
I should start out with how it came to be, my adventure through this horrid island. It was a week ago, on a daily routine to fly A plane. It was a beautiful day to be flying, too. Me, my Co-pilot, Richard, and the 12 passengers were flying over the sea, trying to get from America to Scotland. Nothing was wrong at the moment, only some kids that were whining or some unexpected winds.
"How long until we arrive in Scotland, Noah?" Richard asked. He had the appearance of an adult, but he always acted like a little kid. Whenever we were paired up for a flight, he would constantly ask how long until we got there. As usual, I have to remind him that we're flying it, not riding it.
"I tell you this every time. We're the pilots, you can check yourself," I said, angrily. It usually started with that question, then he says it's an estimate, not actual time, then I would say "how would I know if you don't know?", then we argued until we got there. Thankfully, this time, the radio com interrupted us before we could continue.
"This is Griffon Tower to Eagle 3, come in Eagle 3, Over," We stared at each other, with confusion. Griffon tower always reported in bad news, nothing good. We sat there for about 3 minutes, then it repeated the same message. Someone had to do something, so I tried to transfer a message over the radio, which I've never done before.
"This is Eagle 3 to Griffon Tower, Over."
"Eagle 3, Your course heading to Aberdeen is going to be interrupted by a thunderstorm a few miles off the coast. We're making a new route for you to avoid the storm, over," I was relieved. I thought there was going to be some hurricane of tornado. I quickly responded saying that I will take the new route, and that I will not alarm the passengers of the storm.
It was an hour after the radio message. We were flying over some islands, when we saw this gigantic one in the center of the archipelago. I didn't know how I didn't see this before, but the engines started to malfunction, one by one.
"What do we do?" Richard said, with worried-ness in his voice.
I didn't know what to do, but the first thing in my head was to try flying over the islands, hoping to land there. But before I could try to fly over them, the fourth and final engine gave out, and we started to crash into the ocean. I blacked out as we were about to crash.
What happened next was a Nightmare.
