Spooky story. Don't read if easily scared. I don't want to make any of you have nightmares if it's too scary.
----—------—------—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a sleepless night, I had to go to school. My mum didn't let me stay at home. I was late for school. I got into my class with my face down and got to my seat. I just couldn't stop thinking about that mansion. I thought about the possibility of ghosts and I understood, I saw something unusual. I signed to my best and most trustworthy friend, Trin, to meet me behind school at lunch.
The classes took too long, or maybe I only felt like that because I wanted to tell Trin everything already.

Finally, it's lunch time. I saw Trin waiting for me behind school, and I was happy she didn't ditch. "What happened, Pitsa?" She asked. Everyone calls me Pitsa because... Stuff...
"I need to tell you something, I know it sounds weird, but I think the mansion near my house is Haunted..."
"That one that the owners suicided there? Why would you think that?" She asked. She reacted like I'm trying to prank her.
I told her about last night.
"Probably the detectives searching for clues why they suicided..."
"Listen to me, the lights were off, why should they turn on like that in the middle of the night?! Detectives investigate in the day!" I started shouting. I was so stressed, angry and tired, that I just got all my anger on Trin.
"Ughhh... What do you want to do then?" She was tired of that fight and wanted to move on. "Meet me near my house at midnight. We're going in."

It was almost midnight. I packed up a bad that contained these items:
A kitchen knife, a torch, my phone and an empty diary and a pencil, so I could write the stuff we see.
It was midnight. I left my house quietly and waited on the street. I waited for about fifteen minutes when I saw a shadow of a character. I got out my iron kitchen knife and was ready to strike. "Hey Pitsa it's me, Trin." The character said, when I heard the name I got the knife back to its spot. "You didn't ditch after all, huh?"
"If I'm here I didn't ditch" She replied.

We entered the mansion. It was dark and spooky, but me and Trin stayed close, too close. I could feel her shiver, when we both heated something shut behind us, the doors got replaced by obsidian. The next thing I saw was Trin shouting and then dissapearing, then I got teleported somewhere.

We both were tied to a wall.
In front of us there was a picture, of a skeleton, but it wasn't the normal skeleton picture, he was bleeding and melting down. I saw Trin. She was unconscious. It was only me. "Trin... Trin..." I whispered to her, but it didn't do anything, like expected. I kicked her leg when she started moving. "Where am I? What is this pla..." She said, but stopped after seeing the picture. "We're caged up in the haunted mansion" I told her. "Let's at least put this picture down. I can't look at it..." She said. I kicked the picture, trying to kick it off, when something unusual happend. The picture, that was a bleeding skeleton in that moment, changed into a picture of two teens burning in a dark, locked room, like that room. They both realized, they messed with the wrong ghost, or ghosts, and started crying.

Thanks for reading this story, it took me like a hour to write, and episode 2 will arrive tomorrow. Thanks for @Trin for letting me add her to the story. She's bae. Like if you liked tehehe.

Trin's POV.
Thanks Trin for making it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sat tiredly at my desk, rubbing my eyes. The sunlight was filtering through the lilac curtains. Heaving a sigh, I reached for a blue pen on the desk and began to scribble something onto one of the pages of my diary.

The alarm clock rang and I jumped, hitting my head on the shelf. I hissed and started to rub my head, terribly aware of the pain throbbing from the centre. When I saw the time on the alarm clock, I started to panic and gathered my homework messily from the desk, trying to make my stuff as organised as I possibly could.

I rushed out the door, just remembering to lock it behind me.

----

I walked into class with a solemn expression, trying not to wince as the stern teacher that taught my peers and myself stared stonily at me. It was no secret Ms Gerald hated me for back-chatting, when sometimes I just wanted to point out flaws in so called facts.

I sat down at my table, trying to avoid everyone's curious glances, and sneaked a peek at Pitsa. He seemed worried about something, and when he looked up, he seemed more... calm?

He made a motion with his hand and I instantly understood, nodding at him.

----

I leaned against the wall, waiting impatiently for Pitsa. He was a tad late, but meh. I could wait for him.. He appeared around the corner, and walked towards me.

"What happened, Pista?" I ask, standing up properly and giving him a worried look. He responded. "I need to tell you something, I know it sounds weird, but I think the mansion near my house is Haunted..." He looked sorta sick when he said 'haunted', I can understand.

I sighed and brushed the hair out of my face. "That one that the owners suicided there? Why would you think that?" I asked curiously, and blinked. Wait, was he trying to... prank me? He told me about what happened last night. "Probably the detectives searching for clues why they suicided..." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Listen to me, the lights were off, why should they turn on like that in the middle of the night?! Detectives investigate in the day!" Pista started to shout, waving his hands around at me. Other teenagers nearby looked weirdly at us. He must be really angry if they can hear him from nearly 3 miles away.. and hardly anyone can hear him when he talks!

"Ughhh... What do you want to do then?" I huffed, folding my arms and looking at him with a deadpan expression, then sighed, muttering something under my breath.

"Meet me near my house at midnight. We're going in."

----

I hurried around my dark room, nearly falling over the box of toys I had got when I was six, and pushed it out of the way, huffing.

----

I walked down the dark road, trying to see in the pale moonlight. I heard quiet footsteps and saw a glimmer of a knife. I sniffed, in fear, hoping to the heavens it was Pitsa. I called out to him: "Hey, Pista! It's me, Trin,".

He relaxed his pose and strolled towards me, still holding the knife in his hand. "You didn't ditch after all, huh?"

I replied, "If I'm here, I didn't ditch."

----

The both of us walked up the gravel pathway leading to the mansion. I could see Pista breathing a lot, maybe he was having a bit of trouble, especially in this cold winter weather?

----

We both entered the mansion, me holding the flashlight and Pista holding a knife, huddling it close to his chest. We seemed to stay too close together, I could feel him breathe on my arm.

A loud slam echoed throughout the building, and I panicked, spinning around and pointing the flashlight at the door like a gun; somehow, in the one minute that me and Pista had not been looking at it, it had turned into obsidian.

I screamed, feeling myself vanish into the darkness of the shadows.

----

A sharp pain ran through my leg and I winced, wriggling around in my binds. "Where am I? What is this pla.." I stopped suddenly after seeing the picture on the wall, I could almost feel my brain overloading with shock. "We're caged in the haunted mansion," Pista told me, looking concerned. "Let's at least put this picture down.. I can't look at it." I said, trying to look anywhere but the picture.

Pista started to try and kick the picture down, when the skeleton picture seemed to melt away, and it revealed a picture of two teenagers burning in a dark and locked room, much like ours. They seemed to both be crying.

I stared at the picture for a few moments more, then started to cry. Soft and loud sniffling could be heard as Pista came to the realisation too.

We messed with the wrong people, and were never going to get out.
