This is a post I've made myself to raise awareness of the feeling of having a set time to die - this can be any illness, not any specific one. Please enjoy and spread the word if possible.

The day i found out i was dying,
I was rushed to hospital.
They told me i'd fallen -
What's happening..?

The day I found out I was dying,
I snook in to the waiting room.
I saw my parents crying.
I don't have a long time.

The day I found out I was dying,
My class made me a card.
"Hope you get better soon!"
"All the best wishes, the guys!"

The day I found out I was dying,
My friend stayed with me.
I cried on their shoulder,
They didn't even pry.

The day I found out I was dying,
I couldn't see straight.
I was off the charts,
I was round the bend.

The day I found out I was dying,
I couldn't feel a thing.
Only for a while,
But it still stings.

The day I found out I was dying,
They told me I couldn't go home.
They told me I had to stay,
They told me this was my home.

The day I found out I was dying,
I had an operation.
The docters said I'm OK,
But then my parents cried.

The day I found out I was dying,
My legs stopped working.
I dragged myself along the floor,
But they wouldn't switch on again.

The day I found out I was dying,
I couldn't hear a thing.
My ears screamed,
My heart screached.

The day I found out I was dying,
I coughed up blood.
I bled from my nose,
They still say I'm OK.

The day I found out I was dying,
I couldn't feel my arms.
I couldn't hold their hands,
I just don't know anymore.

The day I found out I was dying,
I couldn't sit upright.
The doctors say I'm paralysed.
But they promised me I was OK.

The day I found out I was dying,
They had told me straight.
I had 30 days.
And they won't go to waste.

The day I found out I was dying,
I cried again with my friend.
They told me not to give up,
It was only beginning.

The day I found out I was dying,
I went blind.
I could only hear,
I promise I'm still here...

The day I found out I was dying,
The beeping machine stopped.
My skin went pale,
My breath went cold.

The day I died,
My parents cried.
My friends cried.
My class cried.

I promise you... i tried.

HOLY JUACAMOLY. When I first read the first few ones I was thinking "Hmm this sounds like that movie I watched on the bus" Until I kept reading. What. The. Actual. Heck. I can just feel the emotion burn through the screen and into my heart. But no, I didn't cry. Only stuff that I have experience mostly makes me cry for some reason. (I'm a very non emotional person at times.)

(Everyone else basically stole what I was going to say....)
