Long ago, there was nothing. An empty white void. Until there wasn't.. An infinite universe spread out through the void. Cells and matter and atoms and stars and planets and storms and comets and asteroids and moons came into being. Life blossomed from the empty world. The Celestials. They were beings of light and life itself, shaped into a body of impossible angles. Creatures of pure power. Then one of the Celestials was corrupted by the Cold, an ancient force that spread through the universe. This Celestial, Delasm, became the Archchild. The Lord of the Children of the Cold. These Children served the Archchild, and waged wars of great power against the Celestials, intent on making the entire universe a infinite world of cold and ice and frost. Eventually, the King of the Celestials and the Archchild fought. This battle split apart the universe into an infinite amount of finite universes. The Celestial's energy spread across the universes, creating life on all of them. However... the Children's energy went missing.
In case the Children had a plot to come back, some of the Celestial's energy became stronger strands of DNA, strong enough to be activated by certain means, and give them weaker versions of the Celestials' powers. Enhanced speed, stamina, endurance, strength, senses and agility. And one extra power. Eventually, these powers would manifest. However, these strands of DNA would take billions of years to form a strong enough strand that would be activated only when the energy of the Children was formed on this planet. The planet they chose? A barren rock called Earth.
There would only be around 20 of these beings on Earth.

He likes to keep to himself, but isn't afraid of most people. He is a very quick thinker, and isn't afraid of punishment. Not many things are important to him. He lives in a care home, with 13 other kids. He's the 3rd oldest, but doesn't share a room and has a history of minor crimes. He simply doesn't care what people think of him. He takes stupid risks a lot.
Appearance: Chester has pale, slightly freckled skin. He wears glasses, but only to read. He has curly ginger hair to his lower neck, often tied into a small ponytail. He is quite skinny, as he often refuses to eat when he's angry. He's quite tall, around 5'11, and has an oblong-shaped head.
Clothes: He often wears either white, grey, dark grey, dark blue or black shirts under an Avengers t-shirt his mother got him before she ran away with a man. He usually wears either a black jacket or a dark blue jacket with a hood and a white zip. His glasses are black with thin layers of glass. He usually wears black jeans and a pair of brown boots he got for his 7th birthday.
Accessories: He has a wallet with a fake ID, driver's license and passport. He also has a credit card and some cash. He has a Samsung with a black case. He wears a grey necklace with a strange symbol on it, and a silver ring from his deceased grandma. He carries around a black switchblade and a Swiss army knife.
Any extra info: He often meditates and does jujitsu from time to time, so he knows some fighting techniques, but not many.
What is your power?: When the power activates, the DNA strand became a sentient spirit that responds to strong emotions like fear or anger or sorrow and uses the power 'Desolation', Chester calls it. Desolation destroys things, usually very aggressively, but is hard to control or cut back, and takes energy from him that leaves him weak. It can destroy solid objects or humans (in very violent ways), but can only be spiked with these negative but strong emotions.

Personality (as detailed as possible): Naomi is feisty and cheeky, she's a quick thinker and always has something to say and isn't afraid to say it to your face even if it comes across as rude. She will never say something she won't say to your face, making her quite trustworthy in terms of not speaking behind others backs. She's smart and uses that to her advantage, she does not care if she comes across as if she's acting above others, she will not pass an opportunity if she can take it unless it risks something which is too important to her.
She has a more creative side, however, it's something she chooses not to show as much, but it has helped her on the odd occasion as she thinks outside the box. She's extremely confident and her self esteem is healthy. She's worked incredibly hard to get to this over the past three years.
She's very expressive when communicating and has an understanding of others emotions and generally knows the right thing to say.
Appearance: Naomi has tanned skin, which is dotted with visibly darker freckles. She has dark brown eyes which are sometimes mistaken for black. Her hair is brown and very curly, it has a good volume and is quite healthy. She's a good height of 5'7 and is a tad underweight being only 112 lbs, however, it isn't too bad. Overall she's relatively healthy. She doesn't have a very curvy figure and she's somewhat lean given her weight and height.
Clothes: She likes fashionable outfits that are comfortable enough for her. She likes to wear a white cut out v neck top tucked into black high wasted jeans with holes around the knees. She wears a thin jacket to complete the look and simple black converse. If she's not wearing that, she's wearing a plain darkish-grey jumper and black boots.
Accessories: Shes got a septum piercing and a tragus piercing in he left ear. She also has a tattoo of five birds flying on her hip, each representing a person she loves dearly. When wearing her jumper dress she likes to top off the outfit with two black string chokers, one
of which has some strong drag down to her chest.
Backstory: Naomi was born in Paesana, Province of Cuneo, Italy. Her home is located by the river Po, in a village near it's beginning in the Cottian Alps. She learned English and French due to the number of tourists she would meet when they ventured to view the beautiful sights the mountain-range would hold. Her father was busy most of her life as they needed to make an earning that allowed them to live there but work didn't pay as well in the area. It was a great joy to get to see him.
She stayed home with her mother, who she'd seen as a best friend from birth. She was a balanced parent who had Naomi's best interests at heart, even when Naomi felt that wasn't true. She also had made many friends with tourists and locals and was always quite a bubbly kid. Naomi enjoyed herself very much and adored her parents and friends and always claimed she lived the "perfect life" as a young kid.
* When she discovered her ability to manipulate water, she was by the Po river when she was 8 with her mother and a close friend. She had managed to accidentally set a burst of water blast out from the river at her friend. This shocked them all and Naomi became a bit upset. Every kid's dream was to have power at this point but to see it happen frightened her. Her mother and friend were understanding of her upset and comforted her, but never further ventured this ability or spoke of the incident.
When she was 10, her father came home with relatively big news. They would be moving country as he'd been offered a job abroad with his company as management. Naomi was a bit nervous about this but was convinced easily as it meant she would be going to a proper school and her dad would be with them a lot more.
The move was easier than they'd expected but adjusting to the area was a new game for them all. Things continued to be fine until she was 12. Incidents of her accidentally bursting water pipes when she was nervous and bending water or completely getting rid of it by accident in attempts to stop herself from getting wet. That's when her parents realized they couldn't ignore it anymore. They took her out for a year and attempted to gain an understanding of this ability and how to control it.
She never perfected in within the year but enough so she was able to go back to school. It was fine for a while but the same girls simply wouldn't give up. They always had claimed she was a freak and the past year of trying to accept that and control her ability made her believe this more easily. She spent age 12-15 absolutely miserable, thinking something was wrong with her. She became closed off and reserved and the change made other people believe the harsh words she'd been called. Her confidence and self-esteem were shattered and she fell into a minor depression.
When she was 15 she found a group of people who'd been succumbed to a similar experience because of those girls. Naomi was iffy that the people were trying to get her open up so they could simply betray her, but they each proved honest over the course of the year. She became tight with 5 of them in specific and she found it in herself to tell them about her "abnormality". Each wasn't surprised and they had seen some weird things over the course of their friendship, but they supported her and helped her return to the person she once was for the next 3 years. Once they finally finished school when they were 18, they each got bird tattoos to help each other feel connected and know they'd each be there for each other always. Each felt like the best versions of themselves and helped each other move on from their fears and turn them into strengths.
Naomi moved out of her parents but visits them regularly and still appreciates everything they've done for her in life so far and she is excited about her future.

She can also manipulate the water pressure but the stronger it is the harder it is for her to control as she doesn't do it very often. She can sense water flows and their direction and can tell when someone is in water and if they're stationary of moving. If she's dehydrated she is incapable of creating water but can still destroy and manipulate existing water sources but not to her full potential.
