They did follow your advice sis. You said to talk to a staff member if they're using it to make them feel uncomfortable, yet apparently a staff member told them to make a suggestion.
On a family server? Seriously?
I believe they meant that they told a staff member that they find the word triggered offensive and want the emote removed, so the staff member told them to make a suggestion, not that they were being harassed or else it would have been mentioned by them already as a strong point.
At the moment, staff can’t do anything about seeing the emote, but if someone is harassing you that is where we can step in, is what I meant. Staff can’t do anything either if people are saying it for fun, unless you make it clear you are offended and you would rather not hear it. If they continue, staff can jump in and help you.
...its a bit hard to do if it takes up like 1/3 of your screen.. might be easier to just /ignore or tell staff member than just put up with it..Oorrr the person annoyed can stop being a ASB Ignore it?? I don’t mean /ignore, I mean, don’t read chat ignore.
Ignore doesn’t block emotes....its a bit hard to do if it takes up like 1/3 of your screen.. might be easier to just /ignore or tell staff member than just put up with it..
But we're not talking about that.. we've already talked about the emote thing. They're talking about people being msged and talked to in chat about triggers/being triggered etc.Ignore doesn’t block emotes.

Yo, I highly agree. The emote makes me kind of angry, as if myself, or others who often feel triggered by their certain illnesses are invalid.I know emotes were recently put in, but I want this one taken away. It is highly offensive to people with real triggers. I know, I have them. Please consider this as it is highly offensive. Love you, staff!Keep working hard!
