Murder Tag for rank.

Idea

Basically I've seen this in several other servers before, for those who have worked hard and played alot gaining ranks, from [Coal] to [Obsidian], they're rank should be displayed beside their name.

How this would help the server?

It would encourage people to play murder more often and rank up because currently there is no use of ranking up in murder, this would add a small encouraging way for people to gain a tag by ranking up and encourage them to play murder more often. Yes there's the option to "announce" our rank but this small add-on wouldn't do much harm.

What if we don't want our rank to be shown?
​

Since few don't really like showing their rank they should have an option to toggle their visibility of the tag by commands like /togglerank. I'd say the /togglerank command would be for specific ranks. As a perk.

I love this idea! I personally don't play Murder that often and to be honest, I probably would start playing it more often if this was implemented.

For the /togglerank command, would you have to be ELITE and higher to unlock it?

On one side I like it would be pretty neat to see what half of the players are. on the other side this could make chat more messy than it is. Also if implemented I suggest abbreviations for the ranks, such as diamond would be Dia or obsidian would be Obs unless the ranks 1-200 are shown. This would add on at least 5 charaters instead of 10 and hopefully not using that kinda gold that makes many eyes bleed.

Ima agree with the idea yet Not sure if it will be accepted because of how chat will appear as for several suggestions with this it was denied for messy chat.

Ok Niceee, As much as I can say how easy the ranks are to rank up, I would prefer if everyone had the option but maybe competitiveness will be a good thing yet maybe it wouldn't happen at all as most new players don't really care about ranks.

I would say vip+ or elite if this were to be a perk on a rank. vip has plenty of perks compared to its counterparts (with perks given to them on creative and across other games), and vip+’s perks are mostly for creative.

As for the suggestion: +1 - I think this would be useful for murder and as you stated could help encourage people to play it more. Good idea!

I really like this idea! When I saw that I ranked up to "Cobblestone" one day, I was really excited! But then when I typed something in chat and I didn't see it, I was a bit disappointed. I would play Murder a lot more if something like this was added. So, I give your idea a +1!

My personal opinion is everyone should be able to toggle the rank of other viewing it. I personally don’t want people viewing my Murder rank, It’s seems unfair to someone who can’t afford to buy a 40$ rank and is forced to share their murder rank, even if their uncomfortable with doing so.

For the whole idea, I don’t really understand the encouragement aspect. If you mean it’ll encourage players to try to outshine one another/competitiveness, I can definitely see that, (not in a negative way).

Except for the toggle option, I don’t have a negative viewpoint on it, so why not!

Why would anyone be uncomfortable with sharing their rank, that they payed for? The whole point in spending at least 20$ is so you stand out. I understand your analogy but I think you used the wrong example.

I’m gonna stick with my previously statement, allow everyone to toggle, a toggling option should not be perk for the ranks. It’s disappointing that it would be considered a perk to ranked players anyway.

Would love to see this as it would really encourage me to rank up and have a snazzier tag and I'm sure it would also encourage tons of others.
