So, you usually think Summer time is all about being outside, right? Well, yeah it is. I had plans to go outside all day. It's noon now, and I'm just sitting by my window. My small, luxurious house, is the best place to be in Summer. (The room looks like this o3o: http://imgur.com/iHYKuJN) I decided to call my friends. *Ring* No answer, okay. This summer is off to a great start. I walked over to my Summertime-plans calendar, cross off outside all day for for Monday, week one. "Kayla!" My mother called. I headed downstairs. My Mother is widowed, and I'm an only child. So our house can only fit us. Thats what I mean by small, it's nice though. We have a gorgeous patio, that my Mother and I always have our meals on (http://imgur.com/9WFLmLS) Theres a pool and everything, my "best friend", Taylor, loves our house. However, she moved away last fall. Not that I cared. We drifted away when we entered 7th Grade. But I'm going into 8th Grade now. *sigh* Sometimes I wish out pool waves would just wash me away to Neverland. Where I could never grow up. Well, I don't have many other friends. I kinda just sat alone at lunch for about the whole school year. But I always felt like someone was there. No, not some nerd sitting with me, a soul, spirit, if you will. Maybe my Fathers Ghost. I'm not sure. Well, what I am sure of is that I am determined to find a friend before High School, no one survives High School without someone else. Well, anyways, I headed down my small staircase to my patio. My mother was there with my lunch. Our Summer tradition. Well, my Summer Lunch tradition was a Sandwhich, with some chips, yum. Sometimes if I'm lucky I get pickles xD ;P But anyways, we have our little campfire. Usually I sit and read near the fire. But sometimes I make wishes my Dad would come back.
