Maybe slow down the amount of time to be frozen and when the tagger tags you the tagger should be teleported a couple blocks away for people to save other people

I understand what you mean yet this would allow a tagger to never win. "Tag parties" as I like to call them are just the best thing you can do in Freeze tag.
What I mean:
Person a is tagged by the tagger. Person b tags person a then is tagged by the tagger and person a is good to tag person b to free them. Then person a is tagged by the tagger. This process repears till the end of them game and if more players are present then it would be hard to control the party yet even more successful. The one way to beat one is to play smart and forget about them for a while then tag everyone quickly. This would allow"tag parties" to be more powerful. This will happen by a player being safer longer ( the freezing time) and the person who can tag them can easily free them at a longer time range.
-1 I get your point yet I believe it was changed because of how often "tag parties" came around. Also your second point doesn't help much in my personal opinionand this would teleport you 5 blocks one direction and then 2 seconds later they are free because of the tagger being teleported.

I agree with you that the freeze time should be slowed down yet as stated above this will happen. The immunity after being saved can be set lower yet it will make running from the tagger hard to do.

The freezing time was increased due to players standing around the tagger and being able to untag each other. The cooldown for players was adjusted as well so that there is a small window for the free to unfreeze people. If you can come up with a reason to adjust it to a better time rate let me know
