My other suggestion is that when your neighbors go offline you get new neighbors that are online so your neighbors are constantly changing when they go offline!

I don't understand what you mean by Neighbors Go offline and you get new ones. Please explain

Katiicorn Like on the creative plots you have people by your plot (neighbors) my are always offline thats why when they offline we should get new ones that are online (if that makes sense)

No, clearing a players build every time they log offline would be horrible. Even if it’s just putting their build somewhere else, some original players on the server have tried hard to keep a plot near spawn, just moving that would be horrible. A more realistic suggestion could be to clear them if the player hasn’t been on in like a year, then it’s be cleared, but that’s another suggestion and I believe someone already created it. No from me.

And I don't see why you would need this. It would create a hell of a lot of lag every time someone joined or left the server. -1.

I don't find this useful because with my plots i try to stay away from people and i don't want to deal with all the lag it would create. along with having to rebuild.

Catten It's not clearing someones plot. Its vanishing it and then when you come back online it comes back.

Katiicorn Ok then thats your opinion

Not sure that’s possible- also, what’s the point in this? (In your opinion). I don’t completely understand the reason behind it.

@Catten could you lock this thread?

If your original neighbor leaves for 5 minutes and you get replaced with a new neighbor, what if the original neighbor comes online while the new neighbor is online?

Also, who would be the new neighbor? Is it randomly selected out of everyone in Creative? What if the person chosen already has a plot?

(By the way, this suggestion should be in the Creative section, not Forums.)

This suggestion could be very problematic in the future, so I'm going to respectfully disagree.

All players put a mass amount of effort into their plots, regardless if they've been active every day or haven't been active since last year. It is not our place to clear or remove any plots unless they are deemed to be inappropriate- even in situations like that, we do not clear the entire plot.

Creative can already get pretty laggy and I believe this would only contribute to more lag. I can't begin to imagine the number of players that have been inactive for a while with numerous plots.

Another issue with this suggestion is if a player decided to come online after a while, it would hurt their feelings to see their own work gone and replaced.

EDIT: If we did implement something along the lines of what you said about vanishing plots, it wouldn't make sense to do this because then the new neighbor's builds would be removed once the original plot owner returns. Additionally, I don't think that can be done. Anything involving "vanishing" plots or "clearing inactive plots" can contribute to substantial lag throughout Creative.

I respect your suggestion and the points you've made, it just doesn't seem like a fair or beneficial suggestion to me. -1

As I said before, it's not needed. It doesn't benefit anyone, and may even open up opportunities for griefing if two online players are right next to each other. We can't risk adding a feature that could possibly result in an increase of offences.

Thanks for your suggestion, at this time, this suggestion will not be implemented.
