Personally, i think it would be cool if you could buy perks like.

• W/E
• Colorful Names
• /Glow
• /Hat
• /Speed
• Hats

On the store for the people who don't have enough money for Ranks or already have a rank and want one of the perks of a higher rank!

What would the prices be?
Real money or party points?
What kind of hats?

I feel these being for sale significantly devalues the donor ranks, since most of these are donor perks.

As for the Colorful Name, this has been suggested many times and has been turned down many times. The reason? Colorful names make chat impossible to read. With all of the colors going around already, it’s going to be an eye sore. Also, this can be used to impersonate staff members. Changing the color of your name could make newer players think you are staff and give you “power” over them.

For these reasons, and for the questions stated above, I’m gonna have to say no.

In my opinion this would not be a very good idea, as this would make the ranks of the server have no purpose, which would bring down rank purchase rates. If players want cheap ranks/perks, they can wait until sales and purchase ranks then.

Like said above this also devalues ranks and colourful names can be hard to read.

While I see why you would want perks in the store, they're perks for a reason. If we gave away perks separately then there would be no point in getting a rank. A rank gives you perks and it would be unfair to the players with a rank that donated for them. A few reasons to get a rank are: perks, donating to the server, staff, or just because they can. Giving colors away has also been suggested before but with the examples Pxnda gave, there are just more cons than pros.

Implementing this would definitely devalue ranks, and colorful names would give players a headache. Thanks for your interest in suggesting changes, but I'm going to have to be against this one.

I can understand why players would want this, but as said above, it would devalue ranks by a lot. Most of the reasons had been stated above but I’d like to point out thag by having /speed as an individual perk would make it hard for staff to catch speed hackers, as they can just hack and claim that they bought the perk.

Going to have to agree with everything that’s been said. People pay a lot of money for ranks, and if this were to be implemented you might aswell get rid of the ranks. Sorry, -1.

Yeah, but at that point you’d buy the rank and get the perk with the rank.

That is just a rip off at that point. Why buy one perk for more than 20+ perks and a rank? I’d just buy the rank.

For all the reasons stated above, I don’t really like this idea.

I bought Elite + for the perks (and because it looks really good next to my name haha) so if we were to have the perks store and the ranks store it would defeat the purpose of it. Besides, even though people like doing world edit, you can ask an elite or elite + to help you.


This probably would have been implemented awhile ago if staff thought it was a good idea, and if everyone was able to buy these perks, how would those people who bought ranks feel?

/glow is able for VIP+ and if, say a default, bought it, what glow would be around them? A dark grey?
