It's Normal that the staff memeber would win just because they are/have been staff. It's becoming to get annoying on the amount of times something happens and then staff just win it or staff are the ebst people in the community.Yes they do help but please fix this.

First off, staff members don't participate in build battle; unless its a rare event(like what val said below). Next, no one can really do anything about ex staff members participating in build battle; it's their choice, we can't just say "Oh! you can't participate in build battle ever again because you have been staff" it's just not right... (sorry if this came across as rude it's not intended to.)

Staff members are only allowed to participate if it’s a twist or a bonus round, then four staff join each team to make it fair.

I don’t understand how this is overpowered, could you explain that part more?

As mentioned above, Staff members, Builders and Event Team members can not join buildbattle unless there is a twist, but it will always be balanced. And people are often biased anyway, even if staff aren't taking part. People often vote for their friends because they are friends. There's no way to stop this and it doesn't really matter that much.

I understand what you mean; however, we cannot exclude ex-staff from build battles. They are now players and will be treated like any other. There will be biases in votes, yes, but we can’t really know who’s voted for what colour as votes are anonymous. In addition, even if we were able to see who voted for who, we most likely would not punish as it’s not exactly against the rules. The player could genuinely believe the build was best out of all. All-in-all, what you’re saying is very understandable, but I don’t believe much can be done about it.

P.S. I hope everyone has an amazing day! ♥︎

If I understand correctly, she’s saying that it’s annoying when ex staff participate in events because they have built up a high reputation and more players tend to be friends/know them. It would be unfair to exclude all ex staff members from events, but i think this thread is just more of a complaint than a suggestion...I have to agree (trust me I know how it feels to always be compared to/against a staff member cough cough Twix) however, staff members, ex or current, are still players and deserve to be treated as such. Correct me if I’m wrong with how I interpreted this! Just trying to clarify how I understood this...

And people who aren't staff/ex-staff don't? A lot of members are well known and have never/aren't staff members.

Not necessarily that they don’t. I’ve just noticed that staff members seem to make friends more quickly as being rude to a staff member gets you are warn for staff disrespect :/

Staff members are just generally more popular, I don't think it's because you can get punished for staff disrespect, as being rude in general is against the rules. Staff just are more popular it seems.

You can't punish people for popularity. Some people will pick the people they know, their friends, or people they generally want to win, regardless of what the build was. It's just how it is.
