I think that a /staff command would be very useful as it states all online staff members servers they are in, and if you click on one's name you can message them. This could be very useful as there's no way to tell what staff are online.

I disagree with this solely for the reason that when a staff member is watching a hacker in a game the player could just do /staff and see the staff is in their game therefore resulting in them disabling their client.

This has been suggested in the past, and I'm going to say it again.

This command and commands similar could easily be abused. People can easily troll the staff team by messaging them something along the lines of "someone's hacking!", The staff join the game and the user ends up leaving or tells them they were kidding around.

Another thing, is that we already have a solution to needing a staff member. You can take a screenshot of someone being rude/inappropriate/spamming/etc. and report it on the forums— same with hackers. If people say they can't record because they don't have a software, its an easily solution as free recording softwares are everywhere (Bandicam gets the job done).

The only thing I see coming out of this is trolling the staff by wasting their time, or like Polar said, hackers using it to their own advantage.

Or you could just have /staff and it says who is online but it doesn't say where they are?

Ive suggested this before

and as @Unstitched said when he was admin
The reason this wouldn't be a good idea is that people could see when staff members are on, and when there aren't any on. This will lead to more players feeling safe to hack when they see that 0 staff are online rather than now where a staff member could be anywhere waiting to catch them. We have a lot of hours where there aren't any of us on, and I'd preferably not expose said hours to be a 'rule breaking friendly time'.

As for exposing hidden staff members, I could easily just not show them if I wanted to but the reason above is why this won't happen.

Yeah, not a good idea. Staff have access to the /staff command so they can see who can help them and who is where, but if players have access to that, they'll know if theyre being tailed, too. Not too good.

Which is a reason why /v is a thing, but yeah, I agree with this.
But then staff would have to compensate for these issues by being in /v as much as possible, and unless they log on like that, they're likely to slip up eventually, then all of the issues previously mentioned would follow.

Here is some easy ways to contact staff that already exist.
1) Ask in the lobby or creative- if there staff members is online, there is usually at least one in either of the two.

2) Check team speak.

3) If all else fails, use the forums
