Quick note: first person to figure out what book this is based on kinda, i'll follow u on teh forumz!
All of the staff had pedestals in Staff Hall in the Party Compound. They were next to the dorms, where they slept.The VIPS and up got a room for ourselves. My room had all the other VIPS and VIP+'s in it.
It was night, and everyone was asleep... except me. @BooLoo2012 snored loudly on the bunk next to me. I got top bunk for 'skill'. Just because i was partially cat, does not mean i always landed on my feet. I watched everyone toss and turn, as i just stared at the ceiling. I pulled one of the boards down and hid things above it in the rafters, then put it back. I heard footsteps on the cement floor outside.
I cringed. @MuffinLovesAlot poked her head, and i bolted down, like i was strapped to the bed. She pointed her flashlight at my bunk. "Oi! You awake, cat?" She hollered.
Oh brother... she would get it! Calling me cat was not tolerated. "Guess not." she hissed, closing the door with a thud.
I remember the old days, before PZ turned into dauntless HQ. Sheesh... whatever happened to that place?
i thought. i turned over, facing away from the door...suddenly meeting a face... unsure of who, i hissed. "Careful, cat." It hissed, dropping to the floor.
It was muffin! Wow... that's a cat..
My heart was beating... if Muffin told on me for being 'awake after hours', Nine lives wouldn't help me.
i squeezed my eyes shut, and began to feel myself shut down for the night...
Not the most entertaining beginning, but still... no story starts at the action.
