Spirit Animals ~ Chapter 2 ~ The Assignment and Clumsiness
The teacher, Miss.Song, would do a sound wave to catch the students attention.
Their companions ran over to their partners and stayed beside them as the teacher said " Heh, it isn't that easy to get into the best quirk school in Japan! You have to complete an assignment first! " They stared at her, confused, as Semora said " And what may that assignment be..? " The teacher smirked " Glad you asked! You will be put into a town setting, and will have to fight robots! Each robot has a different point level, some can have 1 point for each destroyed, others could have 3, and the one to avoid is the 0 robot! It is huge and will hurt you, but don't worry, we have a healer teacher for that! You have to get atleast 1 point in order to get in! Those with 0 will be sent home, sorry! There are no rules either, so its free-play! " Some students seemed interested, others scared. Before they knew it, they had been carried into the town setting, as the teachers went on a building to watch, a teacher yelled " ROBOTS ACTIVATED! GO, GO, GO! " Some of the students seemed confused, and the others already spotted robots and went to work. They used their quirks and companions help in order to take down robots. Everyone had atleast 1 point, but Semora couldn't find herself a robot to fight. So many students, so little robots. A teacher yelled " GOOD JOB! Now you better run, we're sending out the 0 point robot! " They turned to see a huge robot destroy buildings as it walked. Even the brave students had the thought to hide or run, they were all running away, but it seemed a student was stuck. Alex had tripped and while trying to get up, a rock fell onto her foot! The others didn't notice this, as the robot was getting close to stepping on Alex. The teachers got up from their seats, about to go pause the robot. Semora's companion turned and pointed " Look! ". Semora turned and saw Alex, she'd turn to the others and she stopped running. She was too far to yell for them to help her get Alex, so she turned and ran straight toward the robot, her body lighting into blue flames, as her companion grew in size and lit into blue flames. The others stopped and turned, " ? ! " was most of their reactions. Some of the students ran back with Semora to help Alex, while others were too scared to possibly help, though they wanted too. Semora leaped into the air and jumped onto her companion, as her companion flew up infront of the robot, and Semora jumped down, lighting the robot into blue flames. This quickly turned it into nothing more than a pile of dust, as the other students grabbed Alex and asked if she was alright. The teachers clapped. " Good job students! You found out the twist to this assignment, you could get points by destroying robots, but another way was to help your fellow heroes! Semora, you earned 3 points and won't go home, same for the rest of the students that helped! Everyone single student has passed! " They clapped and cheered, some of them hugged their fellow Heroes, and Alex smiled, her heart beating fast just thinking about the fact that she could have died. Nise smiled at Alex " We wouldn't leave you to die, silly. " Gray, and a few others smiled at Alex, most of them out of breath from that experience. The number one hero at the school was watching, hiding. He smirked " They have strength, and teamwork. We have a good bunch of freshmen, but will they survive till spring break? " An owl nodded at him, and flew onto his shoulder. Alex was healed by the nurse hero, MedicMelow. Feeling good as new, this group of friends would surely make it far. But, we haven't talked much about the other students yet, have we? Stay tuned to see their potential.
