'Sparing'

People are kinda sorta working their way past teaming by 'sparing' people. But they aren't at all. Its still teaming. Its really annoying and it makes the game unfair, if any staff are reading can you please clarify that sparing is basically teaming and should not be allowed. Thanks.

I completely agree with the sentiment that it's annoying, and still teaming. +1
However if it is actually just sparing it isn't really unfair.
Sparing doesn't bother me nearly so much as regular teaming, (Shooting people, blocking shots, etc.).
The murderer doesn't get any advantages from letting those people live if they aren't helping.
And generally when it's just sparing it's really easy to mess with them because 90% of the time they use armor to determine their friends.
Just copy their armor set and shoot them when they think you're safe. I find this is a great way to make money.

That is annoying. I don't consider that sparing. I shoot those people.
Generally sparing just happens until everyone but their friends are dead then they kill their friends. Or they fight their friends. It usually takes about the same amount of time as a normal murder match.

I think this issue depends on the kind of sparing.

If the player spares the same person over and over again, for no visible reason, then yes, I would agree that it is masked teaming.

However, if a player spares another player once or twice because they're not ready to kill them yet, then that's fine. I've seen times where this is applicable: some players often defend the accused by saying "If they were the murderer, they would have killed me when we were alone." It can be strategic to spare players on occasion.

I'm okay with sparing as long as they spare everyone. Now, if they spare just their friends and keep them for last we have a problem.
