Okay, so I've suddenly come across an issue, and discovering that Google is useless, I'm going to try here and pray someone knows how to fix this.

A few months ago, my right earbud (Apple Earbuds) stopped playing sound. I reset my iPad and it still didn't work, but the left one did produce sound, so I carried on with this. Now it's stopped, and I turned the volume all the way up. No sound from the left, I could, however, faintly hear my music and could even make out some of the words from a few songs. I tried cleaning out the jack with a toothpick to see if anything got stuck, but there's nothing. The volume button shows headphones are in, but no sound. Any suggestions? I've checked all my settings and nothing is changed.

Most likely your headphones have broken, if you can't hear anything it's broken, you might have to buy a new one

The wires inside the cable have most likely broken therefore not transmitting the sound, it's almost impossible to see from the outside (unless you cut them open), time to get a new pair ;-;

Apple earbuds aren't the most durable things in the world - as everyone above has said you likely just need a new pair because they're broken :p

rip me then I've been waiting for this a long time. Time to use my beats earbuds then. I will give them a Viking burial, these apple earbuds have served me since I got my iPad in 2011.

2. They are not durable
3. Go to start menu
Type 'sound'
go from there.

Of course asking on a Minecraft forum would help fixing your Earbuds, just buy a new one mate.

some people know stuff that others don't, even about earbuds.
if you don't have something helpful to say on a thread that is literally purposed around responding with a helpful comment, then don't respond at all...

Rude. This is technically a gaming community forum, and I simply asked if anybody had experience with earbud trouble (since most people use these or headphones for gaming).
