It was late at night, the wind was blowing in from Snowy's window. The book she was reading was called "Tales of the deep", a classic book that had been around for 50 years. Snowy's favorite was called, Gigo and the Akita. Snowy believed this legend, though it seemed kind of far fetched, but Snowy was open minded. All of a sudden the lights started to flicker.
"Power going crazy again." Snowy thought to herself. But this time it was only her that noticed the lights. Snowy turned to her sister and brother, who were sitting on their beds reading their favorite books.
"Hey, Mariss and Timbb, did you see the lights flicker?" Snowy asked.
"I didn't, maybe you were imagining it?" Mariss asked. Snowy shrugged and turned her light off. The wind was still cold, and it made Snowy shiver all over. Saharah, Mariss's dog, ran into the room with her tongue hanging out. Snowy just looked at Saharah, her eyes seemed distant. Just then Lacy, Snowy's 6 week old kitten, waddled into the room mewing. Lacy's sister, Socks, waddled after her.
"Where is Daffin?" Snowy asked. Daffin was Timbb's cat, the father of Lacy, Socks, and their brother Fern. Their mother was Snowy's step sister's cat, Heather.
"Daffin was following Fern last I saw him." Timbb said. Snowy walked downstairs to get Fern, Daffin and Heather. Snowy's parents were in the living room, petting Fern. Snowy walked in and shooed Fern, Daffin and Heather into her room. Snowy looked out of the window, she saw a mysterious figure walking further and further into the forest.
