Should I clear my friends list before giving away my account?

Basically title. I'm going to give it away soon via a contest here, and I'm curious if you guys think I should clear my friends list.
My thoughts for clearing it were: I've got a youtuber and some staff on there, they might not like whoever I give it to and I shouldn't force them to be friends lol
my thoughts against it were: next owner can decide who should be on the friends list, anyone active can just remove me if they want

Probably a good idea to remove everyone on your friend's list because the next owner will be like who are all these people if they are new.
