I've never really joined an RP, but Cole and Aliieen and I were just messing around, and we found something that could potentially be used as evil.

The RP chat has sort of a workaround, that could get someone in trouble.

With /rp setname , You can basically nick as someone else and sabotage them, saying anything you want, getting them in trouble by screenshotting the chat and reporting them.
I don't think you should be able to setname as anyone's actual usernames from the server, so people cannot try and just get others in trouble by setting their name as them.

Like I said before, i've never actually joined RPs, but I saw this and thought it could be used wrongly, so if there is already something you guys do for this, I'm sorry for wasting your time with this post.

Step One: Can it be done?
Step Two: If so, yes, it should be done, not only as a quality of life change, but as a bug fix.

This is not a bug, as stated above. We are not able to do much if a player has a nickname that hasn't been shown. Just like if someone sent us a video of someone hacking in Murder but did not show us the identity list at the end of the game, it would have to be declined because we can't deal with the problem if we do not know who is causing it. If they reported someone they were nicked as, the report would be denied because, like I said above- it is insufficient evidence without /rp members shown.

Thread moved to general server discussion and locking thread as it has been resolved
